Campus Is Awesome ....Best In Odisha (Jatni)

NISER is one of the best institutes in the country for quality scientific research. It has indeed brilliant architecture offering lot of world class facilities to students for getting hands-on training on various techniques and technologies. Apart from that, hostels are really good and clean with different hostels for PhD and graduation students. There are two eating mess in the whole campus which are also located in boys hostels, offering both veg and nonveg meals all the time. There is also a shopping complex in the campus where you can get almost all the basic amenities you need. The only problem is that the campus is little far from the main city so it takes almost 40-45 minutes to reach there by the campus bus and if you miss that, getting cab all the time is not possible and even if you get it, that will be a little expensive.

The National Institute of Science Education and Research(NISER)(Odia: ଜାତୀୟ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଗବେଷଣା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ) is a research institution in Jatani (Khordha) Odisha, India. The Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh (2004-2014) laid the foundation stone on August 28, 2006, establishing the institute along the lines of the IISc in Bangalore, and its seven sister institutions, the IISERs, established at Pune, Mohali, Kolkata, Bhopal, Brahmapur, Tirupati and Thiruvananthapuram in India.Unlike the IISERs, which will be governed by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, NISER operates under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The government of India has earmarked an initial outlay of ₹823.19 crore(US$130 million) during the first seven years of this project, starting from September 2007.The then Indian Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh has stated that NISER will compare with the best institutions in the country in terms of facilities and faculty.] This move will help elevate the standard of research and education in Odisha.

This place is very beautiful

One of the best research institute. I have been doing my summer internship here on mathematics. School of Mathematical Science is the last building on row and has its own maths library, lounge, cabins of professor as well as research scholars. Professors will encourage you to think deep of the topics. Canteen foods are perfect. Not much oily. And you can have a perfect view of the whole campus from the Hill Top area.

I STUDY THIS COLLEGE AND MEDE MY FUTURE

One of the premier institute of department of atomic energy. The campus is excellent and beautifully located in the outskirts of Khurdha. But considering the fact that they receive huge amount of funding, the research output has been substantially poor. Only spark is the physics department I guess. Rest other departments need to improve the standards.

Its an amazing institute with world-class education under DAE- Government of India. It has so many efficient professors with outstanding qualifications. This place also provide a healthy space to sports, and other cultural activities.

Located in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, in the Jatni Road, this institution has state of the art infrastructure and campus. The institute is well furnished and facilitated. The standard of education provided is regarded as the best in the national level. One has to qualify through tough entrance in order to study here. Therefore the entire student population of the educational institution are of high calibre and potential. The appointed faculty are highly qualified and experienced. It would be a great experience to work under them as research scholars or students or even to work with them as colleagues.

It is very quiet for the study. Medical facilities are good for members. Security are very strict. That place is very beautiful.

Proud to have such an institution in Odisha. The campus has an incredible environment. Special attraction is the meditation place (dome shaped place) where one can really feel the relief and peace of an another level. Hope to visit soon.

Good atmosphere to study, live, and have fun. Peaceful. Campus is growing. Hope to see it in prime in coming decade. It was intended to be at par with its contemporary institutes, if not better. Its like it has turned out to be a shopping complex where it was supposed to be a hypermarket; thanks to the management. Climate is very extreme during summer. Unbearable at its peak. High humidity throughout.

Campus well maintained. Faculty members are capable. Located on a road having public transportation. Locality safe.

Beautiful and vast campus. If I havent got admission to IISER I will surely prefer this. Little away from Bhubaneswar town. If you want to study in this campus try not to forget to qualify the NEST exam. This institute offer integrated dual degree in various subjects like physical sciences, chemical sciences, biological sciences, mathematics, etc.This autonomous institute is under the direction and funding of ministry of atomic research. Remember, this is the one and only NISER in all over India. Those who loves science and plan to take it as a passion, go for it!

I am a PhD scholar at National Institute of Science education and research under Homi Bhabha National Institute. Doing PHD here in physics its nice. All the campus environment and beauty is not too good. And there is no entertainment facilities in surroundings.
