This is indeed a small station, but it has all the necessary ingredients, a toilet, an ATM, and best of all; free WiFi... How often do you get free WiFi in a small station like this?I love the way it is, it feels like home.

Its my home town.The climate of jamtara is really awesome.Its not a big town but all the facilities are available here.Who likes to spend his life with family with peacefully and enjoying, it is the best town for them .

Jamtara is not a big district. But definitely it is developing rapidly. And almost all trains have stopage here. Not so much crowd and peace also attracts people.

Not well mentioned. It look like old infrastructure. There no new contractions it seems like old station. No public facilities.

Station seem to be small, but an essential railway station for those people who travels on daily basis. Average neat station, but unsafe area to be alone at night in station for certain reason. Very few train stops to convey passengers to their destination. Train like passenger and express stops, but train like Superfast, Fully chair, and Rajdhani express does not stop, just passes through this route next to Chittaranjan in south and Madhupur in the north.Its famous for district headquarters situated in Jamtara itself. Various good schools and colleges available in jamtara that students from different places attend such institution by travelling by train.This is how station remain busy in the day, overall everything is good about railway station.

As 75% of the Indian Railways stations are pretty messy and disorganised,this one also falls into one...But despite being in a more developed state it is clear than the predecessors.

Political capital of jharkhand either BJP first CM babulal who given BJP strength in jharkhand or shibu soren rises here only ....Congress have strong hold here ......it was previously a hill station even main town now its crowded.....may be develop as a smart city & good thought process of people....
