Anand is a popular restaurant located in the heart of Bistupur, Jamshedpur next to the Reliance Trends Complex. It is a vegetarian restaurant which offers some really good South Indian as well as North Indian food. I have been visiting Anand for many years and the quality of their food and service has remained consistent. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Bistupur to drop by at Anand for some good quality, well served and budget meals!

Visiting any place during covid the first thing that comes to mind is safety and Anand surely clears your doubts regarding that.With proper handwash and distance seating you can comfortably enjoy your food which arrives within no time.The service was so quick and the taste is unmatchable. The unlimited sambar and chutney service is a delight to dosa lovers like me.

Anand serves pretty good food at reasonable price, atmosphere is chill and cool staffs are also friendly. Dosa is my go to dish here but last time i decided to try garlic babycorn. I wont say it was delicious but it wasnt that bad either, people fond of garlic can give it a try. But you can try dosa here youll love it.

Tried idly, vada, butter masala dosa I can easily say I have tasted much better south Indian dishes in local food joints in Kolkata. They are also very pricy.

The best dosa in town.

Anand is a good budget place for having dinner with friends n family and for a quick meal during office breaks.Their gravy however is almost same for all the gravy dishes.We ordered kadai paneer, dum aalo and paneer do payaza. To our surprise gravy was same in all the three dishes.However, breads are good n fresh. We ordered butter naan, tandoori butter roti and plain tawa roti. All were tasty.

AANAND HOTEL IS NEAT AND CLEAN BUT THALI RATE IS NOT WORTH. RS.180/- ONLY 4 TAVA ROTI AND CUP OF SMALL RICE AND 5TS QUANTITY VEGETABLES DAL.

I want Anand with my family and her wonderful time there. We went there for lunch and order dosa of three different type one was paneer masala dosa another was cheese masala dosa and the last one was normal masala dosa all the three was wonderful but I like most the that is too was excessive oily and was salty.It has a large canting area and had wash basins and toilets and also has a waiting area if there is a lot of crowd already inside the restaurant.One can try different type of dosas uttapam upma all the the South Indian variety of food as well as normal North Indian foods chapati rice dahi and many more items like that.Do it may be morning breakfasts, aur afternoon lunch or evening dinner all kinds of food are available and is busy always.If you visit jamshedpur you must try it.

Its crowed place. If u r lucky u will get the waiter attention or else u need to wait for waiters eye contact looks funny but its true. No manager at the entrance to make the arrangements etc. Though Anand has done the makeover of the place bit needs to trains there people. Rest food quality is good.

Over 15 years since the first time I came here. And I still make it a point to visit this place everytime Im in town. Butter Onion Masala Dosa is my personal favourite, and I have atleast 2 dosas in one sitting. Its so surprising, that despite so much of history in this place, it still sells itself because of the taste in food, rather than its heritage value. Kudos to the entire management and cooking staff an Anands.

Great food with special mention to their butter idli....it isnt butter in the idli batter but idli dipped in a mix of coconut chutney and butter topped with grated coconut and mustard tadka...the staff was diligent and despite the peak time did a great job of handling multiple orders. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for pure vegetarian south indian food. It is right across the madras cafe and both are extremely packed even on a weekday, 9pm.
