Earlier Sir Dorabji Tata Park was known as “Modi Park”. Tata Steel presented this park as a token of love to RussiModi on his 50th birthday. RussiModi was the managing director of Tata Steel during those days. The park looks wonderful with the colourful lighting system. The layout and aura of the park is splendid. You will find well-maintained lawns, gardens and fountains. The gardens and lawns have plenty of green plants. The water gushes out of the artificial fountains in collaboration with the musical pattern. You will adore the early morning atmosphere in Sir Dorabji Tata Park. The air is calm and pleasant. An evening walk in the park is also awesome. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated in this beautiful park.

XEarlier Sir Dorabji Tata Park was known as “Modi Park”. Tata Steel presented this park as a token of love to RussiModi on his 50th birthday. RussiModi was the managing director of Tata Steel during those days. However, when a split occurred between Modi and Tatas, they changed the name of the park. The park was named after ShriDorabji Tata, eldest son of JamshedjiNusserwanji Tata. A well-designed statue of Sir Dorabji was installed in the premises of the campus. The evening of 3rd March, foundation Day of Tata in the park is awesome. The park looks wonderful with the colourful lighting system. The layout and aura of the park is splendid. You will find well-maintained lawns, gardens and fountains.

Its a family park.Small but well maintained with greenary all around. The fountains are the main attraction here. Good place for early morning and evening walk.Its timing are 5am to 8am in the morning and 5pm to 8pm in the evening. It also has gym all in one equipment which is free for public.One can find the various street foods outside the main gate.

A small miniature park right in front of Kennan Stadium. A good hang out with family and friends. Dont expect much but nice. Few eateries pop up in the evening serving some basic snacks. Few rides also present in the evening for small toddlers.

Tata.On the occasion, Tata Steel CEO and managing director T.V. Narendran unveiled the renovated park comprising an illuminated diamond structure and a pavilion.Ruchi Narendran, wife of the Tata Steel MD, unveiled the statue of Lady Meherbai Tata.They were joined by senior company officials and R. Ravi Prasad, president of Tata Workers’ Union, among other guests.In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, all the other invitees, including employees, joined the event via videoconferencing.Spread over 2.5 acres, the renovated park now includes a statue of Lady Meherbai Tata and a resplendent steel tubular structure and a pavilion through which the legacy of the famous “Jubilee Diamond” has been immortalised in steel.
