The bridge is narrow. Only cars can cross the bridge . Buses or trucks cant cross the bridge.

This bridge plays an important role. It Made a connection between Kalna and Baichi in the easiest way. All bus from Kalna to Boichi or Gurap have to cross this bridge. Moreover its the border between Purba Bardhaman and Hooghly. Some years ago the bridge has been rebuilt after the bridge broke.
