I called the number give above. I was calling from canada. Somebody told me over the phone that this number belongs to electricity Department not the post office. Please upload a right number.

They are not willing to do their job

Poor service at aadar card counter.The guy there have no sense to talk.He knows nothing about his job.Went there to update my wife’s address on the aadar card. With marriage certificate for the district Court. He denied our documents saying I cannot scan the certificate because it is too big. Like really!!!! this was his excuse.Then he said the only way to update the address is by showing joint bank account’s passbook. Because In J&K it is the only proof that is acceptable.I gave him the passbook, he further rejected the passbook saying the address is printed on the side and hard to read.Coming back from abroad. That was my first Introduction to any government service.Then I went to SBI bank Chatha (told by some bank employee) . With all my documents. The lady there was efficient and fast ,she lodge my application with our marriage certificate within 10 minutes. With the same sized printer.If anybody want to do anything with their aadar card thats the place to go to.Please dont go to the post office gandhi nagar. This place suck million times.

I exactly dont know if this was this post office but I remember it being the head post office of jammu.The staff there was very helpful, unlike other places where the staff are ignorant, I find here the people very helping.

It is the main branch of jammu post office and the staff members are so agressive and uncooperative. ...am waiting for the postmaster since from 3 hours and nobody knows ,where he is.....very bad experiences.

Very big post office all the facilities are available. Located on main road. Near metadoor stop last morh via shastri nagar route. There is different counter for selling stamps and envelopes. Located on apsra road near yougal sons show room . Very crowded place

Manner less staff do not even have sense to talk to senior citizens and not helpfull staff. i sent a post to new delhi and it is not delivered to sent adress and till now after 2 months do not have any clue where my parcel is.so do not use india post.
