Its a little park Located near kachi chawni area of jammu. its located at a very conjugated locality. driving a car here is not feasible. its ideal for coaching students as its in area which is a coaching hub of whole Union Territory of jammu and Kashmir. Students can take a break here and hence gives them an escape from their pressure full life.

Many people come here because of its beauty and peaceful environment. And I also go there.

Around 30 years ago this place is a dump yard of Jammu Municipality known as Rani Talab, full area keep smelling. Then Governor His excellency Mr Jagmohan Singh took step ahead and beautify this place and rename it is Rani Park , a beautiful park in centre of the city .

A neat place within the city.ln old time this spot was having a beautiful water tank, called Rani Talab.This place is still known by this old name as the park has been constructed over the said tank.

A nice place in the heart of Jammu city. Initially it was a pond used by queens of that time. It has beautiful temple dedicated to God Vishnu. Lateron the pond was filled with filth and upto many years it was just like horse card or bull cart stand. After some time the authorities filled up the pond and placed was used as vegitable market. When wholesale fruit and vegitable market shifted to Narwal it was developed as a park. It is beautiful park in the heart of old heritage Jammu city pincode 180001. Now it is being utilised by locals of every age as a place of recreation.

Basically it is a place in the city area , people living nearby visit the park for their morning as well as evening walks , there are number of benches for sitting, and the green trees will make you relaxed , you will see a number of children playing there as the nearby houses children do visit there in the evenings to play and enjoy and there are many more things for small kids to play with. You can see ladies, old people sitting and chit chatting there , outside the park there are many fruit chats and other fast food vendors available at affordable prices . People also love to visit the park in summer as the cool environment of park will make you relaxed from the summer. There are many institutions nearby the park so students oftenly visit here.

There is a slider for kids to enjoy the ride, and the sitting arrangements are also good here. This park is open for everyone everytime. There also is a fountain in the middle of the park. This park is suitable for bringing young kids. This park is neat and clean and well managed.

Children friendly park, and its nice place to hang around but the slippers on which children play are broken so one must pay attention and dont let your child to go towards broken side. otherwise its a nice place in the center of the city.

I used to go there when I was a kid like 7-8 years with my father and we used to spent time playing many games and eating kulchas nearby . Its a really nostalgic and overall maintained park for me. I recommend you to take your kids there and make memories with them .
