Very peaceful temple with peaceful surrounding. This temple is far from road but very famous in jammu. The shiva ling has grown from the earth and is considered very pious. The surrounding is very calm and no city noises come inside.The temple is well maintained. This place attracts a very very large amount of devotees on Maha Shivratri. The temple is nicely decorated. I found much peace in myself after leaving the temple. There are other small temple of other gods too but mainly this temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. Har Har Mahadev!

Beautiful temple. Shiva linga under open sky. Linga has been split by an axe. Believed to have been done by a Gujjar who suffered a lot subsequent to this act. Good temple to do Rudrabhishekam. Temple priests need to put up signs for ardha parikrama.

Aap Shambhu Mandir is located in Roop Nagar around 2 kms from Janipur Bantalab road. Approach road is uphill and straight. The temple bears a panoramic view. There is a large garden in its compound. It is well maintained. Neat and clean. The main presiding diety of the temple is a shiv linga.. There are small multiple temples inside the complex. There is facility for performing yagna as well within the temple complex. You find solace here

Nicely decorated temple. This is ancient Hindu temple. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible. There is also a fountain in the garden. This place is famous for the holy Lord Shiva, Hindus living in the vicinity visit this place everyday. Maximum rush of devotees can be seen on Monday and On Shivratri festival.

Mandir has a very religious and peaceful vibe.. but a few people sit on all sides of the shivlinga and monopolise the entire shivlinga... it creates trouble for other devotees.
