I’m very very glad that we walked into ethnic textiles, it’s an absolute gem!My husband and I were looking for outfits for an indian wedding, not only we found those we ended up getting lots of thing tailor made and bought our souvenirs as well. Having worked at the fashion retail industry i know my fabrics really well and I can confidently tell their quality is top notch.The guys here are very very friendly, and the prices are reasonable, though they are very fair at negotiating as well.Was lovely dealing with them I’ll definitely be back.

We came here with my father and my two sisters. They tailored him a shirt and to me a long asymmetrical skirt and a matching top.They have a huge selection of textiles and prints.The service there is amazing. We ended up becoming very good friends! Will definitely like to go back there and say hi to them!

I walked into this retail shop with an American friend of mine. The Auto Rickshaw had suggested this. Remember in Jaipur every guide, auto rickshaw has a cousin where they will refer and you get slaughtered. Fortunately the price of fabric in this shop was very good. The reason I say this is because I know enough about fabric which my wife has business of and travel with her for whole sale purchase. They were charging 25% more than the whole sale price which is acceptable for a retail shop. The others would ask for anything between 400-1000% more without even blinking their eye. The Bagru hand block prints are genuine and not machine printed. You can bargain a bit there as well. The guys are very friendly. Strongly recommend for any tourist to go there.

Absolute rip off. They really pressured us into buying a quilt for 5k and we found the same one first price for 2.5k without even bartering. Go to B.R. Enterprises for good prices. Wished we had gone there first

Of the 7 items we had them make, only 2 mens shirts came out correctly. The other 5 items had to be fixed multiple times. They owned up to their mistakes and tried to fix it but their tailors were not up to the task. I would not recommend having any clothing made here as months later the clothing is already coming apart from their shoddy work. Very disappointed because everyone involved in the business is so nice and polite.

Was recommended by Ajeet, who runs, Chillout hostel, to check out this tailor. We have had many many many recommendations throughout our visit since theres usually a commission involved. However, Ajeets recommendation came without any strings attached and we had a great and stress free experience where we could try what we wanted, how we wanted and also got some complementary tea. The owner took extra care to make sure we didnt feel pressured and that we were comfortable with our purchases. A very pleasant experience and after having reviewed his stitching after the delivery, I can say that Im 100% pleased with my experience. It is however not as cheap as many places you find in the bazaar, but its not far from it and the extra quality and good service made it worth the extra pennies. Also it seems some of the profit goes to support less well-off communities, so it felt good knowing where some of the money goes.

Vikas was amazing! So helpful and hospitable. I showed him pictures of things I wanted made and he exceeded expectations. I will definitely be ordering more from him! Looking forward to my next trip to Jaipur.

An Indian friend from Mumbai showed me this shop as he is doing his textile shopping in Rajasthan with them. I ordered a 3pcs suit and two shirts. Everything worked out very well. They are not the cheapest but the quality is good and the pieces are well manufactured. They were also very helpful shipping the pieces.

Beautiful work

This is the best place for shopping textile stuff like bedsheets and covers, table linens, beautiful variety of scarves and woolen mufflers, origional pashmina shwals, they have very good collection of patch work wall hangings, rest of the things is customise stuff. They have very nice tailor unit for gents clothes and ladies as well. After all i found the best place of jaipuri prints thats call hand block printing in many patterns and according the region like bagru, dabu, chipa, ajrak and mugal print. I highly recommend Ethnic textiles.Good quality and very professional.The owner Vikas is a wonderful person easy to work with and comes up with the goods.Vikas took my measurments on friday evening and had my suit ready 10 o clock the next day.will be back to order another suit.thanks to Vikas and his family.

Lovely collection of fabrics in silk and block-printed cotton. Very friendly staff that talked and joked with us and invited us to eat some home-cooked curry as we were leaving.

We bought two shalls, the seller told us it was real 100% pashmina and the other one mix between silk and pashmina. It is not true, this is not authentic.Sure the prices were attractive and we should be attentive, because its fake !
