Raj Rajeshwar Mahadev Temple -In Jaipur city there are only one temples whose door open twice in a year (1) On the day of Shivaratri & (2) On the Day of Goverdhan Puja {2nd Day of Deeepawali}. This Raj Rajeshwar famous Temple of God Shiv is situated in Chandani Chowk near City Palace. This temple is private temple of the erstwhile Royal Family of Jaipur darbar and opened to the general public only two time every year.Devotees wait to open the gate of the Shiva temple. The Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur themselves used to worship in this temple. Very good temple . Private property of jaipur royal family. Opens only twice a year on maha shivratri and annkoot after diwali. Photography inside temple is strictly prohibited. Temple has gold carvings and gold idol. Thousands of people visit on these 2 days.
