The ambience of this restaurant is very royal and probably its one of the most luxurious restaurants in India. Hospitality was amazing as staff was extremely polite and generous. Food was also good, and it was served in gold plated crockery but to be honest food was not best. But still you can visit this restaurant for royal dining experience and its luxurious ambience.
A must visit for people who love eating Extremely Delicious Traditional Food in Luxury Style. As per my taste buds, would recommend to try Rajasthani Thali for Best Gatta & Daal Batti Churma that one could ever have in India.Hospitality was of top notch. Thanks Tak for this memorable experience.👍🏻👍🏻Keep up the good work & taste.
I can die happy! We visited here without preparation or planning and was astounded at the ambiance and service thats equalled only by the quality of the food, dance performances, and live music. The host, Om, was gracious and knowledgeable. We wish to return, with plans to stay at the palace so that such a relaxing night as what we had can be experienced again.
Excellent services by Rajinder Singh,Harish,Ravindra and Chef Abhishek. Thanks Mr.Rishabh .
The dining experience here was simply amazing and the staff/service are one of the best I have ever experienced. Pictures of the beauty of this palace do not do it justice, you have have to come and experience it yourself. But I do want to mention NOT to expect the best food in Jaipur here. We had the main lamb dish as well as chicken curry. As far as food taste unfortunately it was the least appetizing out of all the restaurants we had in Jaipur, but the ambiance and staff is worth the price. We were celebrating a birthday and they came out with several complimentary desserts and a beautiful tasty birthday cake.Either way your really coming here for the experience and history of this hunting lodge which was built for the King in the 1830’s. Highly recommend the restaurant if it’s within your price range.Just for others info spent about 7800 INR for 2 dishes (1900 each) plus 1 appetizer. Also ordered 2 waters. The amount was definitely more than enough as they provide a lot of extra goodies.
Both Hospitality and food at its best. The experience you wont forget.
Visited this place on Saturday, 14th August 2021 with family, although we were not staying at the Rambagh Palace but went for the finest restaurant in Jaipur for a dinner. Being a Delhiite, I thought... booking a table was mandatory for a Saturday night, but I couldnt believe when they actually refused to reserve the table since the restaurant was fully booked. The table was finally booked after 2 hours of pampering them via telephonic conversation. As we reached there on the day, the restaurant was totally empty till 10pm except 12 of us in the hall. The food was served in beautiful Versace crockery but not up to the mark. The staff was extremely polite, well mannered and well informed but the food had same gravy in all the dishes and the servings were extremely meagre...very average and overhyped, I will never suggest this restaurant to anyone.
This place is just mesmerising, gives one a feel of the royal era. The food was amazing and so was the person taking care of us, mea culpa to have forgotten his name. Chef Radhey was very humble and kind and took the feedback very positively. It was a pleasure being here and the ambience provided by the staff will definitely bring us back.
ऊँची दुकान फीका पकवान... best line for describe this suvarna mahal..resto...no taste . .isse better food koi normal dabba ya restorent mai mil jayga... wastge of money ..
We had an amazing experience and mindblowing food at this place. 5 points out of 5 in all categories, be it the beautiful royal interior, excellent service or delicious authentic Rajasthani food. We ordered the Rajasthani Thali to get the most out of it. The absolute highlight was the Laal Maas, unbelievably tender and just so delicious - we enjoyed every bite!We shared one Thali (two people) and itsmore than enough if youre not a big eater. We got a 2nd bowl of Laal Maas but with all the other courses we couldnt have thought of eating a single bite more.
Excellent experience to a beautiful Rajasthani meal in the majestic ambiance of Ram Bagh Mahal. The surroundings of the restaurant are in the lawn of the palace which is a UNESCO heritage site, and there is live music and dance and views of moti dungri in the distance.Would highly recommend the Rajasthani thali and Madras cafe cocktail (photo of cocktail). The service was exceptional, with menu recommendations & accommodation for our group. Highly appreciate the service from Om Singh Rathore and explaining the menu and the Rajasthani history.
Great experience. Food & service is awesome. Loved the ambience
One of the best experience. Food tasted amazing! Service was top notch! Much recommended for a great occassion with your family and friends
We had visited Suvarna mahal on Valentines day and it came up as a memorable dinning experience. Awesome food, friendly staff, beautiful n exotic ambience. Gauva Mary sorbet after appetizer and before main meal was a new experience. The whole menu offered was designed with a concept for the special day. If you ever thought of visiting the place, just go for it and I am sure youll be delighted. Overall it was a very Royal experience.
Lovely place with a very historic n royal feel...a special tx to Ashmee Sharma for her warm hospitality...
It was very beautiful and it is located in 7 star hotel rambagh jaipur.
Luxurious and opulent banquet hall. Beautifully decorated. It felt that we were somewhere in Europe, yet there were lot of hints of Maharaja influence in the decoration.Food are scrumptious and well prepared. I am a vegetarian with very specific dietary requirements, the chef can handled it and yet my food didnt loss any essence once can expect from a expensive luxury restaurant. My heavy meat eater partner thoroughly enjoyed in the meal too.Service is on par with many 3 Michelin star restaurants we dined in Europe. Attentive, not pretentious or pushy.Price was expensive compare to the ither local options, its similar to London fine dinning price.
Fantastic experience.. Great food and lovely ambience... Top class service as well!
Totally pleased with the hospitality and welcoming approach of the restaurant staff. The food was delicious, and the chef was also concerned about the feedback of guests. Mr. Kishan was the highlight of the evening,as with his knowledge and experience he gave us the best info of the whole Taj Rambagh Palace. The overall evening was excellent- the ambiance, the food, the hospitality, EVERYTHING!❤️🔥✨
Unique experience ...one of its kind...best rajasthani thali ever...
Excellent food, was absolutely pleased to notice all the safety measures taken. The staff was friendly and went over and above to make the day special for us. Especial thanks to Aidan and Harish they were extremely friendly and took great care of us. Highly recommend this “swarn mahal” for dine out.
Good place excellent hospitality everything is excellent no words to say 😉😂😉
Hospitality is at its level best.Dhungar Paneer is very good.Pine Nuts Spinach Kofta curry is amazing as well. For starters Dahi ke Kebab is also good. They are very courteous and Versace plates to have dinner on is magnificent
Very nice Mind blowing Super se upar 👍
It was a very mesmerising experience, the place itself is a very magical one but Mr. Kishan enhanced our experience by providing us the perfectly cooked meal we needed, our special demands were met perfectly & the experience was beyond our expectations so i would recommend that one must visit & dine in the place if he/she visits jaipur.
Amazing Ambience and awesome services.......
Superb..loved the food every time I go..
We visited the restaurant to celebrate ny wifes birthday. We were blown away by thr hospitality. We ordered the thali and the shorba abd appetizers deserve special mention. Our attendant Sukhlal helped us with the history of this incredible place. They got a cake as a surprise and got us extra dal baati churma coz we casually mentioned that we like it. Please visit if you want to feel like royalty. We were celebrating a birthday and they came out with several complimentary desserts and a beautiful tasty birthday cake.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Jaipur. It’s as authentic delicious Indian food! Been here 4 times already. North Indian specialists. The staff is so attentive.
Ossmmm
It was a polarizing experience. The premises are stunning, best to come at lunchtime or before dark, and the service impecable. Attention to detail and small courtesies abounded. The naan on the side was very dry and crumbly, almost like a cracker. The drinks were fine although.Needless to stress, the prices are very high in an establishment like this and in the end we did not feel like it was a good deal. A gorgeous place like this will set the expectations very high for every aspect as well as since it’s a restaurant the most important one, the food, unfortunately fell short and the contrast was jarring.
It is Indias most beautiful palace. The cuisine here served are specially belong to Indian, Chinese, etc. Amazing place. In life time you should come to visit this.
We visited Suvarna Mahal for lunch. The food and the ambience were absolutely fantastic. Their hospitality definitely deserves a special mention. Our host for the meal was Mr.Kishan and he made the entire afternoon even more interesting by sharing the history of the palace. Came here with family for my mum’s birthday. We travelled specially from Delhi but so glad that we did! You truly feel like a royalty dining here!
The finest dining experience ever had. What you get there is hospitality in its true sense. It is not for your everyday bite as it can be costly for some but for a lifetime of experience. No reservations required and walk-in are welcome. A Royal treat and you can also walk through the Rambagh Palace and enjoy the scenic beauty.
Beautiful palace ambience, dined like maharajah with superb food and service. We paid INR 17,500 (AU$364) for a bottle of 2014 Clarendelle from Bordeaux but appalled to find out that this bottle is only selling for AU$36 in the market. I have not experienced a fine dining establishment that would impose such unreasonable mark up. Future patrons, do your research and do not fall into the tourist trap!
The best place for an authentic Indian cuisine
Ambience is out of the world. Hospitality is awesome and no words to describe ram Bagh palace. Amazing and wonderful.
Lovely ambience, great hospitality & yummy food
We dined here as a special treat and it certainly lived up to its reputation. It’s over the top raj era style makes you feel like you’re back in the 19th century. Food was also incredible and service impeccable. They also had golden cutlery. Wild.
Great ambience with pure Rajasthani Delight
Wow. Superb hospitality and perfect ambiance. They always treat guests like royalty, and on our most recent visit we were a large family party with an age range from 12 to 75. Great venue to teach teenagers & pre teens how to a behave in a formal, though friendly, fine dining establishment. Every time the service is incredible. Memories are made here!
Royalty at the finest !!!!!!!Suvarna Mahal is an absolutely amazing place to dine. They definitely know how to provide a superior level of service that made my dinner so much better than i could imagine. We loved it here and will definitely come back one day, the restaurant is beautifully designed, food tastefully crafted and most importantly service is what stands out. Staff are very friendly and there suggestions are bang on !! they have story tellers too.
Just awesome Indian cuisine. The preparation at the best. Must have the Malai kulfi
A good family restaurant with awesome food. High class service. You might visit once in Jaipur.
Lovely palace, one of the most beautiful and lavish palaces I have ever seen. Awesome food, a little overpriced but when you go to such high end restaurants its quality of food and service that matters, and 4 stars to service and 7 starts to food
Amazing food and amazing hospitality. I would have thought the serving staff would be snooty but they felt like long lost friends or family.
The menu is comprised of 4 different regions of India, and the server was very patient in explaining different dishes and pointing out which ones would not be spicy for my me . Servings are large, but it was all good. The whole atmosphere of the place gives you a feeling of aristocracy . To top it all the service was excellent. The staff is very well trained and adds to the whole sense of royalty with their immaculate service. ...
Highly recommended. Simply put, its a fabulous experience :)
Embedding the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan in its cuisine, Suvarna Mahal is one of the most exquisite restaurants in Jaipur in a fine dining experience. With its high ceilings, gilded mirrors and Florentine frescoes, the décor of Suvarna Mahal will take you back in the regal past of the state that was once embellished by royalty. Here you can spice up your taste buds with an exotic array of dishes brought together by amazing chefs from different parts of India. Some of the most popular dishes offered here are murgh tikka zaffrani, dahi ka mass, papad ki sabzi and ras malai.
Superb service , beautiful ambience , tasty food. Everything to make the evening a success.
Food quality is amazing. I love to visit here
We arrived in Jaipur just in time for dinner and through Google we came upon Suvarna Mahal. Inspite of being very underdressed for the grandious setting of the palace restaurant, from the we arrived we were greeted with overwhelming hospitality. The live musical and dance performances in the outdoor setting was just the start of a great evening. Our host Om Singh Rathode gave us a royal dining experience. Our dinner was served on silver platter with some of the classic royal Rajasthani dishes. Om was a wonderful host and willingly gave us a history of the palace and Jaipur.I will definitely want to come back and experience this all over again!
This restaurant is like a royal dining hall from the bygone era. The food is delicious and the ambiance is breathtaking. Highly recommended
Suvarna, just like the name. Delicious food, and down to earth staff is what made our experience truly amazing. Will surely be returning again.
The food is tasty
True luxury with excellent hospitality and delicious food!! Yes its expensive but it is completely worth it especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.Chef Abhishek cooked amazing delicacies, especially Dahi ke Kabab and Bharwa Mirchi.
Mesmerizing interior and amazing food, heavenly and truly royal !!
Food quality is amazing,Staff is very courteous
Very pretty place and such good Rajasthani food. The dal batti and chicken were yum. Visit in the evening before its dark. They have a beautiful garden with peacocks dancing sometimes at the hotel.
Beautiful ambience with a marvelous service. The best luxury dinning in Jaipur or I should rather say in entire Rajasthan
Its an awesome place, no words to explain. The ambience and is awesome. A must visit place.
Its an awesome place, no words to explain, butter naan that was delicious.Royal place for royal people, food quality is amazing
Wow! I was amazed to see this restaurant the minute I entered this place. Food was amazing though.
BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE !Honestly, if you pay attention to food culture and have some semblance of a reasonable expectation about what youre going to get at suvarna mahal..... it will blow your mind.Taste I have never experienced before.Outstanding service by the mr. Kishan Aidan & team royal butler of the palace feelsus like a king.Honored to get the chance to be apart of this mind blowing once in a lifetime (?) taste sensation. This place definitely lives up to all the hype.We loved every moment of our visit& finally many many thanks to Taj innercircle team for giving us a surprise dinner. Its really amazing for us.Thanks a lot Taj
Excellent ambience, great food and very kind hospitality by Mr Shekhar & Kishan Ji...@Suvarna Mahal Rambagh
Called a month ago to book a dinner on New Years Eve, and the staff told me that the New Years package is Rs. 6,000. When we arrived they told me that the dinner for 12/30 was Rs 6,000 and the special price for the New Year on 12/31 was Rs 17,000, plus the service charge and tax was Rs 20,000.It ’s really unacceptable, they ruined my New Year ’s Eve
Wonderful and amazing experience.Pristine beauty everywhere.Delicious piping hot food.
Best place for couples nd for romantic dinner loved the place
Very good food and a beautiful place.
Its an awesome place, no words to explain.Staff is super polite and humble. Food was delicious, but too expensive .
Nice I love it
One of the best restaurant in Jaipur in hotel rambag palace.
Just amazing are the only words that i have. The place is great. Food is perfect and amazing. Hospitality is great and the staff is very cooperative and very professional. I would personally say that if you have not visited suvarna mahal then youve missed something in jaipur. Thanks to Mr Kishan , Mr Aidan and Mr Harish for making our experience amazing.
Boutique hotel inside a magnaminous landscape. Very nice to stay. Youll feel at home.
The ambience gives the maharajah feel with Versace plates and gold plated cutlery. Service is impeccable, with the waiter walking through the food in the menu and providing brief history of the hotel and restaurant. Even had a chat with the chef in his walk around. This is 5 star.Odd thing is where we were seated. The table is close to the main entrance in a square table seated side by side at one end of the room facing the entire dining area. This gave us a feeling that we are the reception table to sign in for all diners. Felt like its a hap hazardly put there to squeeze in an extra table. While the food quality is good, I expected much more when the price is more that INR7,000 for 2. I have tasted better from meals in Peacock Rooftop or in Thali and More for less 1/5 the price just a day earlier. For this, Im giving 3 star.
Great food
For all that’s regal, this 180 year old piece of history unsupported my columns, is as magnificent as the Indian royalty folklore. With the handpainted frescoes on the ceiling and equally stunning dineware bring out the best front row experince to Indian regal affairs with the delicately prepared cuisines to compliment.
Hositslity if staff and vulture nice place
Best interiors, nice gesture, care for customers must visit once..
TOOOOO EXPENSIVE. CHICKEN BIRIYANI COSTS 2K 😑😑 BIRIYANI WAS REALLY GOOD...NO DOUBT. AND THE AMBIENCE IS BEAUTIFUL. ROYAL TREATMENT. BUT REAALY REALLY EXPENSIVE. WOULDNT RECOMMEND!
My partner and I chose this restaurant to dine at on our last night in India. We were quite excited to visit having done some online research. We arrived early and the staff at the main entrance to the hotel asked where we were dining. We explained that we would be dining in Suvarna but were slightly early so would like a pre-drink on the Verandah. The entrance staff walked us to the Verandah where we had an average cocktail. Sarjeet was our waiter, he was quite rude and condescending and even sniggered when we told him where we were staying in Jaipur. We then made our way in to the Suvarna restaurant. Before we stepped through the door to the restaurant, Sarjeet leapt infront of us and told us that my partners attire was unacceptable and we would not be allowed in (due to the heat, he was wearing a tailored pair of shorts. The shorts were coupled with a smart shirt). Whilst we do not have a problem with dress codes, I explained to Sarjeet that the issue surrounding my partners attire should have been flagged upon entering the hotel or whilst we were having a cocktail at the Verandah Cafe. At both points we stipulated that we were dining at Suvarna Mahal yet nobody mentioned my partners attire. If they raised it as an issue when we arrived my partner could have popped to our hotel to obtain smart trousers. As Sarjeet guarded the entry door, he made some remarks suggesting that we have never been to a fine dining restaurant before. My partner and I live in London and regularly visit Michelin star restaurants. I can assure you that we never experienced service as bad as this, or a problem with our attire. After reasoning with Sarjeet and another restaurant manager, they permitted entry. The restaurant itself is beautiful - no doubt about that! We sat down and were presented with 3 menus. We opted for a lamb curry, chicken tikka and dumplings, all at the recommendation of our waiter. The head chef emerged from the kitchen and took the time to speak with the diners - this was a nice touch. I can honestly say that although this was the most upmarket place we ate in India, the food was the worst we had in India. It was mediocre at best. My partner and I both agreed that food from local cafes and street food stalls was 10x more flavoursome yet 10x the price. We left feeling utterly disappointed. The next morning my partner and I woke with excruciating stomach cramps. It is now a week later and we are back home and are both still very ill and have even had to make a trip to hospital as we have contracted severe food poisoning. Whilst I can not 100% say it was contracted at Suvarna, I am 95% sure.I am providing 2 stars as the restaurant is absolutely stunning and the chef took the time to speak with the diners. However, the food, the ambience and the service was abysmal. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
Great service, super food
Its an amazing experience in itself....excellent food, excellent ambience and above all excellent service
Golden Royal Experience..Feel like a Maharaja!!
