This building houses office of Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission and Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam jointly. Building was inaugurated in 2010 and costs about IN Rs. 6 Crore. RERC decides rates of electricity to be charged by state power companies and private power companies including for wind and solar power companies. Sadly, members appointed by government are generally retired government servants and no test is conducted for their capability, wisdom and knowledge.
