Namdev is the best photo stat and print out shop you can find across jaipur. I am getting the print and Xerox done from last 15 years. There has never been a flaw in the quality. Cheap and best quality prints and photostat. They dont charge if the quality is bad. Best thing is the people at work are experienced and perfect at there job. You dont have to mention about the quality needed.

Its a good shop to get your photo copies. They print and laminate all sizes as well. I got some A3 prints and laminates. A3 print was Rs.20 on plain paper and Rs. 30 on glossy paper. The lamination for A3 is 30Rs each. They have A2, A1 and A0 papers as well. They have typing facilities, as well as stationary goods for sale here.

Namdev Photostat is a commerce centre located in a bylane very near to Vaishali Circle of the upmarket (comparatively speaking) Vaishali Nagar of Jaipur. The epithet ‘Photostat’ is an understatement as a variety of jobs are undertaken and articles sold here. The proprietor has invested good deal of money in the latest Photostat machines including colour ones. Some of them are really state of the art. Needless to say that duplicating documents using Photostat machines is the mainstay of this business establishment. Reproductions can be made from the same size or smaller/larger hard copy originals. But the facility of Ammonia Printing or diazo (blueline) is not available as the technique has since become obsolete.Typing of documents mostly using ‘MS Word’ is also undertaken and there are 6-7 computers over here. However, computers are old and have been purchased from the grey market. I have not found any branded computer here but since tasks performed aren’t demanding on computer resources, even old machines serve the purpose though barely. Photoshop and CAD software are also available with some adept employees working on them. I am not aware whether copies of software are genuine or pirated. The best thing about this place is that computer workers are skilled and gentle.Namdev Photostat can create and print colour posters, invitation cards, menus for a hotel-restaurant-bar, brochures for an upcoming or running school & hospital, promotional banners, catalogue for apparel, furniture, jewellery and other kinds of mercantile enterprises. To the best of my knowledge facility of flex printing is not available. Some printers have large platen so printing of architectural and industrial drawings is very much possible and frequently done. Students throng this place in large number for completing their project work. They also get their resume printed, filling in online application forms for educational and competitive examinations and printing out the marks sheet. Spiral binding and lamination jobs are also performed. Computers and printers are networked. Scanning and digitizing of documents, pictures can also be done but I don’t think they have proper photopapers. Desktop publishing cannot be carried out here.Taking advantage of high footfall of students the shopkeeper also sells stationery such as notebooks, pens, pencils, eraser, highlighters, markers, drawing sheets, instrument box etc. as well. The shopkeeper is cunning and always tries to shortchange and overreach. They indulge in unfair practices such as making the print faint and thereby saving on the toner. They charge the customers high though only slightly so as not to lose them. The owner is also somewhat rude. The owner practices differential charging for example if the number of pages to be photo stated are few then charge per page will more and the same will be lowered if the number of pages is more. All said and done: the availability of such a facility in the neighbourhood is of great help to students and others alike. – Kumar Indu Bhushan
