Got stuck at a dhaba near Bagru around 25 kms ahead of Jaipur as the key of Skoda rapid got inadvertently dropped in the boot while pulling out some luggage. I was atleast 600 kms from the hometown and there was no chance of getting the spare key delivered in less than 10-12 hours. Called skoda service station but as usual they gave an exorbitant estimate to create more panic. While exploring parallel options on the internet, got numbers of many key makers from Jaipur and explained them the situation. Most of them tried taking an advantage and quoted sky high. It was only Rajiv from car key point who preferred an empathetic approach than seeing it as profiteering opportunity. What happened next was a mark of exemplary service. He asked to send him a picture of the spare key; which was doable since my folks had the other key handy at home. I forwarded the picture of the key and within minutes not only did Rajiv make a perfectly matching key at a reasonable price, but also got it delivered through his trained technician at the location where we were stranded - to save from an odd scenerio of key not fitting in. The key however was such finely and closely crafted laser cut that it worked on the first click itself. The boot opened.Saved the day.
