Achrol Fort trekking experience :Its a short trek recommend for beginners specially for the amazing view throughout the trek. As the destination isnt popular so it is not crowdy in fact you will hardly find any person.Time :1hr trekk (for beginners) one way and total 2.5hrs for round tripDifficulty :Medium level and recommend for beginners.Path :Rough stones and steep trek through journey.Time :Monsoon season. Special early morning.Fort :Bad condition and restoration work needed.View :Highly recommended to come and experience the beautiful early morning view where you will feel above clouds and peace among greenery.

Such an awesome place specially in rainy days enjoyed a lot here but little bit lack of resources and lack of sign boards and availability of men power is not there if you are in trouble as its a forest area, girls may be hesitate to go on such a height as little bit trekking is there but awesome place to visit muat go in group with more than 4 people , i celebrated birthday here and it is a superb picnic spot in these days

This place is purely for trekkers and for the lovers who seek privacy( just kidding). You should climb atleast 5km uphill (approximately) and make sure you wear a trekking shoes. Sandals with plastic grip may lead to fatality. If youre fit enough like me you can climb within 20- 30 min without any hold. Dont worry about the signals, I was listening to believer song (lol). It may look like hardship but trust me the view from uphill is marvellous. The pathway is real messy, at a point youll see only the rocks which will slippery. I highly recommend you to wear Jeans and a full hand shirt to get off from the mosquitoes and the thorns. If youre looking like a civilized pathway dude this place is not for you. And coming down is the toughest part as I said the rocks are slippery. At my perspective please dont go with girls, they may not climb ( not a racist or against femisim). On my concluding note, if you wanna trekking experience go for it and its just a piece of cake when you go with your friends.

Nice fort to explore. Abondened fort nice for photography as well. Should visit during cloudy or in winters. I like this fort. Better then Amer fort. And sometimes feels like Haunted fort. It is on hill so to visit this fort you need to climb/hike. Will Enjoy the hill climb as well to rach this amazing fort. Dont know is it haunted or not. But to me it seems like haunted. It is still a abondend private property.

An adventure day out is in treasure box right here when one decides to reach Achrol and trek the replete of architectural marvels and forts, located at the very outskirt of the city. Not just trekking, another added activity i.e. rappelling is on the way in a beautiful morning. Enjoy the view of old remnants of the fort and relish the nature around.  A delicious breakfast will be your companion at the end of the activity to satiate the hunger pang.

The big hill fort is having good fortification, bastions, palace and many ruins. The fort belongs to the Achrol Thikana family, which is extended family of Kachhawa rulers of Jaipur. Achrol Thikana dates back to 1550 AD. Achrol fort seemed to have been built as a strategic fort on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. Achrol Palace is an old haveli located close to a path which leads to the Achrol Fort, inside Achrol village. Both the Achrol haveli and Achrol fort are in bad shape.

Its an awesome adventure place. The people who want to know ancient India and its history they have lot here to fulfil there curiosity it is built on a hill. You can enjoy hill climbing too if you will start your adventure from the stairs for the temple goes and thereafter you have to go down and start again to climb that hill on which fort is situated but be aware of wild animals, snakes etc.

The fort belongs to the Achrol Thikana family, which is extended family of Kachhawa rulers of Jaipur. No records related to the history of this fort are available except that Achrol thikana dates back to 1550 AD. You can have more information on jaipurthrumylens comDo note that when we visited Achrol Fort there were signs that this fort is used by anti-social elements. It is not advisable to visit in late evening or night. It is evident that some tantrics are actively using Achrol Fort for paranormal rituals. Of late, some people have started using Achrol for commercial trekking purpose. Please not that these operators do not have any license/permissions. In case of any eventuality, they do not have any back-ups. The fort walls are unstable at many places because it is in urgent need of repair.

Achrol Palace is an old mansion situated at Achrol Fort, the inner Achrol village. Not far from the Jaipur-Delhi dual carriageway, the vintage Achrol village with a few old havelis is quite small. The areas adjacent to the Jaipur-Delhi toll road have increased especially after the widening and improvement of NH-8, but the old elements still retain their very attractive locations! The fort had military and strategic importance even as the palace or mansion was used as a residential area.
