I am a product design student from bombay. Visited here and instantly fell in love with the art. They are so true to their art form and so genuine. I also took a one day workshop with them to learn the process and I understood why they are priced the way the are: the time, patience and effort that goes into making each piece is tremendous. Please do respect their work and prices.Durgesh, the owner is also very sweet and happily hosted our workshop. We learnt a lot with him and definitely want to visit again. He also gave us a small ganpati to take with us, felt very heartfelt. Thank you Jaipur Blue pottery art centre and Durgesh sir ππ»
This was the last stop from my entire trip to Jaipur. The owners were very co-operative and patient... The products that they sell are also value for money... They were ready to help and provide suggestions..!! Also you can place and order over call or WhatsApp from any part of India. Next time in Jaipur, Im surely visiting this place!!
Jaipur Blue pottery art centre is very nice place and staff is very good Mr. Madan ji and Mr. Ram very good man
Lovely shop with a lot of variety. Durgesh, the owner of the shop, is very forthcoming and helps you find exactly what you want. A must visit for pottery lovers.
Unique products, large variety, best collection , with suitable prices. Loved the visit. Good management staff. Best amongst nearby stores.
Must recommend place to buy pottery.Others shop are keeping fake blue pottery but this place is orginal..art is not costly its unique in nature..!!9 th generation and they still going on ...Please be careful other places buying blue pottery they are totally fake but here you will get orginal art blue pottery..Highly recommended..!!
Its marvelous π if u have love for some premitive art go for it .. beautiful π₯° things for ur home decor
Beautiful art, the factory visit was wonderful and Mr. Anil Doraya the nationally awarded artist here is a very friendly and knowledge person. A visit to the shop and the factory nearby is a must.
Excellent place to buy pottery and huge respect for them to taking this languishing art alive. Must visit there factory.
Very warm and helpful Duo. Shaitaan is an amzing soul. God bless both of them and long live the shop and the art form.
I visited this place in the July. There is good variety of potteryware available. Designs are beautiful. The Owner who is also a well renowed artist and the staff are very helpful. You might need some time to find the kind of design you like as there are lots of stuff to look at. All items are handmade and not machine-made and hence may have some human error in design but it adds more beauty to the piece. Money well spent. You are not just buying a piece of crockery but also get the privilage of owning a piece of beautiful craftsmanship.
Visited the store few days back, marvelous collection, prices are cheap , good quality. Best store amongst near all stores. Loved it
This is the place you need to visit to find the best gifts and mementos of your time in Jaipur. Authentic, family run and (finally) low pressure but helpful team will make this a pleasant shopping experience. I bought I number of items and theyβre even more beautiful now that theyβre back home and I see them again. Many items also have Jaipur, India on the bottom which I love to have for gifts. Check this place out, donβt waste your time with others in the area.
The first. Original. Authentic. Family owned. Many famous patrons. Previously and for many years Sir Edmond Hillary, Richard Gere, Bill and Hillary Clinton and so on and so on. Famous for creating and perfecting the process of Jaipur Blue. Award winning pieces in many designs , styles and sizes. Very friendly. Showed and explained the process from beginning to end. It is an old art. A dying art. Hopefully there will be some that learn the art and many more patrons. I enjoyed our visit.Pro tip. They will wrap and pack and ship and insure.Something in every price range. From 4$ up.Please like my review if it was helpful.
Such a lovely place for shopping. One will feel like taking away all the things from this shop. All the pieces are so so pretty and lovely. The behaviour of the owner is also very nice. He even helped me getting few things through courier as I needed more. Would love to visit again when in Jaipur
Excellent place to visit. Products are really amazing and the owner has very depth knowledge about the handicrafts. Recommended place
Its an amazing place with some really beautiful art peices, a lot of people thing that the pots are costly but the work that goes in to making the pot is unfathomable I attended a workshop there and for just painting a small plate took hours so imagine them making the pots letting them dry and then painting then sending it to the furnace, it would take weeks or even a month to complete just one pot.
This place is magical. Here you can see potteries which are totally handmade, handcrafted and all the designs are free hand drawing and they use natural colours which is everlasting! This is a traditional art form carried over generations. If you love ART you must definitely visit here. Also the owner Mr Anil. gave us a demonstration of how they make these potteries and that was really amazing to watch!! Looking at our enthusiasm for ART he also gifted us some of his beautiful art work. The guy is really great and has many national awards. But he is still struggling to keep the ART because of competition from chemical market and also there are many fake pottery centre in jaipur which is using his name to sell duplicate items. Please beware of them. And make sure you go to this location which is mentioned in google. The real name is Jaipur Blue Pottery Art Center
I enjoyed to visit Jaipur blue pottery art centre and Iβm from China. Anil hi the owner of the shop is so sweet and gave me best price unlike other shop.
Wonderful place with the wonderful stuff. The owner is very supportive. Recommended place
I advise everyone to visit the place. The uncle himself is an award winning π₯ person from the Government of India. Many interesting pieces are there. Very helpful with selection. Warm atmosphere. Appreciates jokes. Gives complementary items. It feels like returning back. Love the place. Recommended by a friend of mine. Never felt waste of time.
MUST VISIT PLACE !! The 4th generation blue pottery artist here is well known person having multiple accolades in his name but still a very humble man. His wife is also artistically inclined. We were lucky to have met him and his wife! You can help and learn as well. Classes will be arranged including accommodation and food if required. Help retain this beautiful art!
Designs were good but very costly. We shopped same goods from other shops in a much cheaper price. My taxidriver got me here. I was not happy. Definitely these drivers get commissions on sales. Not visiting here again.
Extremely unhappy. The owner speaks sweetly and nothing else.No fixed prices. Same items are available at cheaper prices in Kotjewar ( small village 40 kms from Jaipur ). Apparently these guys are the main supplier of blue pottery all over Jaipur. All these shops represent that they are Government shops but they are not.No printed bills are given upon purchase of items. Not at all happy and I would recommend buyers to do their research before buying anything from here.Thank you.
All that glitters is not gold!! So I walked into the store and was welcomed very politely by this young gentleman and was told about their craft and the product. Impressed and really keen on owning blue pottery, I got a few items from the gentleman only to realise that behind all the smooth and sweet talking is only one intent- fleece the customer. I paid exorbitant price for something which is otherwise very reasonably priced everywhere else (much cheaper in this case) in the city of Jaipur. Yes, it is my bad as I did not check but then isnt the seller supposed to have a conscience too. No wonder none of the items had price tags. On closer inspection of the product later, once I was back in my hotel room, I realised not just had I paid a huge sum of money for nothing, I had also received inferior goods with chips and cracks. Please beware of this shop and the sweet talking owners. They are not just cheating buyers but doing a big dis-service to the potters by making it unviable for people who want to buy blue pottery but are deterred by crazy prices!!
I visited this shop before COVID-19,I wanted to witness the authenticity and actual piece of art. Iβm glad, I got opportunity to visit this shop. The AWARD and CERTIFICATIONS they have was flabbergasting.Celebrities like RICHAD GEAR, NITA AMBANI and MYRIADS OF MINISTERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD has visited this shop.Thank you for the experience.
How on the earth it has 4.3 star rating ??? ... I would give no star. What an eye wash by the owners.. bluffmasters..I claim to be potter.. this means I live in a perverse fantasy world with unrealistic expectations... The owners seem to have taken this phrase rather too seriously...Ppl please be careful while visiting the store.
I visited this place in ,2019 and im from china and i love art work and artisansa must visit shop
Not a good experience.Owner only does lovely talks nothing else. Very costly for no reason. We found better blue pottery in other shops near them.
I came from Dubai. Horrible shopping experience. Purchased vases for my wife before Covid, there were scratch marks all over in the surface which was not shown at the time of packing. Please dont believe in the stories they tell. Donβt judge a book by itβs cover. Please check before entering this shop. There are many other good shops .Whoever the owner of this shop stop threatening reviewers with different IPC. Everyone have freedom of speech to say whatever they want. Secondly I doubt you remember all your customers. No point acting cool. Rather fix your customer than scaring them. Lastly you didnβt give me any bill , you had said to pay in cash as you didnβt want it to be an purchase for gst purpose.so let me this straight those who have given bad reviews are fake and defaming your store according to you , and those who have given good reviews are genuine , Nice way of removing bad reviews. What is the proof that the reviews which are more 3 stars are genuine? and writing reviews about a product or a place is freedom of speech , until and unless its not abusive or a life threat . There are thousand of stores with mixed reviews and none of them have behaved so badly like you have or have given legal threats , shows that you cannot handle bad reviews.
I am mesmerized with this shop. They carry a legacy of generations and promote dying art. Must visit for buying original blue pottery.
It was a very good experience visiting in such a beautiful shop. The artworks were so good . They were beautifully done. I think we should promote their work through some exhibitions. The craft work in India is losing its importance . The people should know about their own countrys art work and crafts. Blue pottery is one of the major craft of which people should be aware of. ANIL DORAYA ji guided me really well about their work. Please do visit here.
One of the best art gallery I have ever visited.
Poor quality. We went to shop other places and they have better options, Neerja is one of the shops. This shop is only to fool tourists and very expensive without any meaning.
Very rubbish stories are told by these guys and their taxiwallas. Products are overprised and not a great deal. Many other shops are there that sells better blue pottery plates and bowls. Not visting this place again.
Good collection for hand made items
If you love the blue pottery items for decorating your homes with an old world charm, this is the place to be. Their display plates, based, tiles and hooks are inspired by the Turkish blue pottery. I have found this place to ave more reasonably priced than shopping online but you may want to check for chips after they have drilled for hanging too.
Visited the place and they have a good collection of blue pottery work. Its one of the oldest and most reasonable priced shops in town. You can stop here after your visit to the forts.
A very good experience learning basics of blue potry art ... And it a really humble request to govt. to allow sir to open the govt. land in Nandpuri for expanding this type of art.
Amazing place! Goverment must help the owners in creating a link between the museum and the factory to make it reachable to more and more people.
Good variety of blue pottery but the man was a crook. He charged us double the rates youβll find in bigger stores!!!! However the store has different varieties than itβs big neighboring store with the same name. I recommend visiting the big store first or Neerjah international closer to town. Much better prices.
Fabulous pottery though costly because its handmade but still worth a purchase
Stop shop for home crafts and pottery, as per the name. Offers pots, jwelery box, decorative tiles, house hold articles made from a mix of paster of Paris, qaurtz and few other ingredients. Though the price is very high compared to the quality of goods. Quality and appearance of articles in comparison to price
Its an amazing place!! A must visit while in Jaipur! The collection is just unparalleled and the owner, the artist himself, is a charmer!!
Beautiful collection of blue pottery. Do visit if you love art.
Had an amazing experience at Jaipur Blue Pottery Art Centre, exorbitant collection was available at very reasonable rates and amazing customer service π.Do visit and experience the lovely art they have to offer!
Amazing art work, but seems to be little expensive
This is a very nice shop
A very good potry art
Its a beautiful place. Easy to locate. Steep steps, but only a few. Inside is a world you can get lost in if you love this work. From fridge magnets to vases of all shapes and sizes, they have it all. 9 generations of workers and magnificent exquisite not for sale stuff!Yes, they are expensive..they plan on going online and so prices would be more competitive. They pack your stuff very well.
Conventional but costly
Jaipur Blue pottery art center is away from main city and very near to highway..The showroom is very huge and they exhibit vast variety of blue pottery products ranging from small tiles to huge home tiles ...From small kitchen utensils to big pots... Name plates and many cute and different souvenirsI personally found the products quite expensive and over priced..The shop is very famous and hold great quality products and provide shipping to your place for bigger orders as well..
Very good collection. Its authentic and super pretty. The Staff and the owner are super cooperative and help you find the perfect thing you are looking. I also gotto know they incorporate genuine blue pottery artist and promote the art as well as provide them with employment. I loved spending time there. I bought quite a few things for my husbands friends. I would visit again!
This is place to visit in Jaipur. You can get beautiful gift article our here . Can get too decorative things for your house. Really a place to visit. Person here is so cooperative and teaches too many things.
Found some great award winning pottery. Very pleasant owner artist in residence. Very impressive workmanship family and friends tends enjoyed greatly
Bought a couple of plates and a light lamp, the owner taught up personally how to make a blue pottery pendant due to our intense desire in the art. A extremely gratifying experience.Update: Came to Bapu and Indra Bazaar to find that the prices quotes by the owner was way above the norm. The workmanship on both products are equal, yet he has quoted a higher price. We beloved the works to be unique and authentic as he led us to believe. As a genuine art lover, I am thoroughly dissapointed.
Good
Best artwork and creations .... Owner and creator Mr. Anil Doraya has done a supremely marvellous job keeping the centuries old Jaipur Blue pottery artwork alive and taking it to greater heights than ever. Please keep up the extraordinary work Sir. Most friendly, courteous and down to earth shop owner considering the fact that he has numerous international and national awards and felicitations to his credit.
Very costly
What an amazing place to see understand and appreciate blue pottery. Mr. Anil Doraya, the owner and the 10th generation artist who has won so many awards, is a real humble gentleman. Things are available here to suit all budgets. Its a must visit place if you are around Jaipur and definitely buy something as per your budget so that the art doesnt die and the artists can earn their living.
Awesome place to buy pottery. The people are very helpful and the owner is down to earth. Havent seen anything like this place.
Amazing! This dying art is worth to be observed. The nice staff explained to us how blue pottery is made. In fact, this is stoneware pottery, a mix of quartz, glass, etc, powdered and then shaped and hand painted. We especially loved the tile panel mosaics of Indian symbols like women dressed traditionally, peacocks, and Ganesha.Highly recommended!
A must visit place for artists interested in pottery. The place conducts workshops also. You can customise name plates with tiles. The experience was really good at this place.
Do visit this place they have a nice variety of things, and they are making lot of efforts to carry on this art. Nice products at reasonable price π. It is also government approved and they also teach people how to make blue pottery at their centre.
If you are looking for Rajasthan traditional craft -blue potteries and other items, this place is a must visit. The owner is very passionate of his workmanship and definitely you will get explicit designs which will surely mesmerise you. A proud bearer and carrier of Indian traditional craft. Kudos to the proprietor of the shop.
Must visit if you come to Jaipur. Great collection of plates, vases and other things. Little on the expensive side. Can bargain
Many interesting items. Not all very well made, but some pretty good. Worth a visit.
Nice
Nice
We had a great experience, beautiful pottery and great to sdmire. We also had a pottery lesson which was amazing!
Wonderful experience talking with owners and learning about the their art. Beautiful pieces here !
This is really a wonderful store full of curios made with great care and craft. Almost a museum dedicated to blue pottery you can spend hours here browsing through all the little and mesmerizing creations. I loved that they have kept the artform relevant and vibrant moving in tune with the new age homes, collectors and travellers! Eclectic and truly enjoyable! With a workshop added to the experience, they have now really enhanced the chance for a person to truly enjoy and immerse in the art. Anils hospitality and warmth played such a large part in making this expert special .
During my visit to Jaipur my hotel manager suggested me to get some blue pottery as a souvenir. Visited this place and spent a good one hour. They quoted different prices of same artifacts to different buyers. Mr Doraya seems to be over concerned and thoughtful to me it seems all fake. I paid the amount after bargaining 500-600 bucks. While going back to hotel, i noticed there is another Jaipur Blue Pottery store so stopped for a quick visit. I realized the prices I have already paid are 20-30% higher than here. They too have a good variety and cheaper price. So bought a table lamp for 850 rupees which was quoted 1200 rupees there.
Very beautiful variety of blue pottery handmade articles, right from kitchen pieces to hand painted tiles and lamps. A really nice place to buy all souvenirs for gifting!
This is not just business, this is a true love for the art of making and selling hand made blue pottery inherited from generations. This art is one among the many things jaipur is known for.Really a memorable experience to visit this place and buy some articlesNice people
They are good at blue pottery and they even teach you how itβs done.
Amazing artifacts. A lot of the things here are authentic, with signature designs. Although some things like the glass lamps are available in the Jaipur market for half the price.
It was a pleasure meeting Mr.Anil ..A great artist with such beautiful ideas.
Prices are very higher here. They charge unexpectedly very high. If you have time and little courage then youll definitely find blue pottery with very good savings than here but if you have money and dont have much ti.e then this is a good place for you.
Its just fantasticOnly this much needed !!!!!
Bring Rajasthani culture home ....great tiles for outdoor decor
Excellent craftsmanship and superb collection of Blue Pottery artefacts...must visit
