Incredible place to see Indian palace of past and modern time. Beautiful architecture is really masterpiece of all time! Discover the life style of royal family. Highly recommend to visit if you are in Rajasthan. Possible to make beautiful photos in different areas of museum/palace. Possible to join private guide who will be able to show most of the areas in the building, make photos and explain all facts and history of the area.
Very well maintained museum. Built in the 18th Century by the rulers of Jaipur the City Palace is a gem to watch. The palace is now turned into a heritage hotel and a museum. I really loved the architecture and the intrinsic details in it. The peacock door is a famous attraction here. There are many artifacts belonging to Sawai Man Singh and his family. This is the place where Lord Mountbattens swearing in ceremony took place. Theres always a rush no matter at what time you visit the palace. The parking is very close by and so is the market and street food shops. The descendants of the former rulers of Jaipur still reside in one part of this palace.
The City Palace, Jaipur was established at the same time as the city of Jaipur, by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber, in 1727. Jaipur is the present-day capital of the state of Rajasthan, and until 1949 the City Palace was the ceremonial and administrative seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The Palace was also the location of religious and cultural events, as well as a patron of arts, commerce, and industry. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family. The royal family of Jaipur is said to be the descendants of Lord Rama. The palace complex has several buildings, various courtyards, galleries, restaurants, and offices of the Museum Trust. The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust looks after the Museum, and the royal cenotaphs known as chhatris.

Sawai Man Singh II, popularly known as Mor Mukut Singh was the last ruling Maharaja of Jaipur belonging to Kachwaha clan of Rajputs. Born on August 21, 1911, Sawai Man Singh II ruled the princely state between 1922 and 1949 and eventually the state acceded unto the Dominion of India.. 😊🙏👌
I like this place very good.
Great place to see, nice Experience.
Get touch with old Indian Society good feeling and experience to know their life style and culture. Very well maintained and Gudie also available.
Its musta and always have a guide because there are a lot of amazing things to see without guide and story behind it its just random stuff. They provide an audio guide and its worst , out of 100 things it only explains like 30 so dont get that, also there are many people inside the palace who will be ready to guide you at Rs. 100 pls be sure they are authorized you can ask them any guide license or authorization kind of stuff. Remember One can also get composite ticket
Mostly it has clothes of the King and armoury. Handicraft items were good. Value for money.
This is a great place with it being an archeological site. Nature can be realized here. This site is helpful for the entertainment of the people. Also, they are also helpful for nature.
