This temple is located in Jaipur. It is a very important place for the followers of Gauriya Vaishnavism. Here Gopinath ji is present along with Jahanavi devi (the consort of Nityananda prabhu), Srimati Radharani and Srimati Lalita devi.This deity was carved 5000 years ago by Vajranabha, the great grandson of Lord Krishna. It is said that the Lotus Navel and Lotus Chest of Lord Krishna resembles with this deity. Radha Gopinath ji was worshiped by Srila Madhu Pandit Goswami in Vrindavana. After mugal attacks, this deity was shifted to Jaipur by King Maan Singh.

After Lord Krsna Went Back To His Dham, His grand son King Vajranabh made few his Deities to give to various Devotees. To assure whether they are look like actual Krishna, He went to Queen Uttra, wife of late Abhimanyu, son of Arjuna, who had seen Krishna face to face. Uttra said that Krishnas Face resembeled with Govinda Dev deity, His Chest with Gopinath deity & waist below portion with Madan Mohan deity. All these Original Deities were removed from Vrindavan at the of Mughals attacks & brought to Jaipur. Thus Original Deities are in Jaipur. Although Vrindavan now Deities are no less than Jaipur Deities. Sri Sri Radha Gopinath, Radha Govind Dev & Radha Madan Mohan Ki Jai !!!!

In this temple there is traditional architect. It is one of the oldest temple of Jaipur city.

This temple is said to be one of the fewest temple of lord krishna in which statue is not established by devotees. Instead, it is self established (according to beliefs). Whatever is the history, this temple is full of pleasure and spiritual feelings. Lots of peoples comes here to see every jhaanki and join every worship. This temple is one of the OLDEST TEMPLE of lord krishna in jaipur.

5000 year old deity carved under the supervision of great grandson of Lord Krishna (only surviving descendent of Yadavas). This deity was found 500 years back in vrindavan by Paramanand Goswami and his friend Madhu Pandit Goswami. Later Madhu Pandit Goswami started the first worship of the deity. Later due to the attack of Aurangzeb in Mathura and vrindavan in 1670, the deities were shifted out if vrindavan and came under the care of Raja Jai Singh of Jaipur.Presently the deity is in Jaipur only.Kindly note - the deity on our right (next to Gopinath) is Ananga Manjari, which is the usual position of Srimati Radharani.On our left, the smaller deity, is Srimati Radharani

This temple is the heart of jaipur. It is a part of city palace which is open for everyone. There is a idol of lord krishna and it is believed that idol is replica of lord krishna. The environment of temple will touch your soul and eliminate all the stress of your life.There is a jai niwas garden at the back side of temple. The place is hardly a KMS and a half from Shree Radhe Govind devji temple . This is one of the idols that has come originally from Mathura but were later been established in Jaipur will the intent of preserving them from the attacks if the Mughals . This is second in the series of three idols originally made by the great grandson of Shree Krishna called Vajranabh. Here the statue is in black stone with bansuri in one hand and with Radhe Rani at its side. The place offers eight Darshana during the day starting the first darshan at 4:30 am called the Mangala darshan . Placed in a haveli setting , a must visit place of you are in and around Jaipur .

Close to the famous Vaṁśīvaṭa, on the bank of the Yamunā in Sri Vrindavan, Śrī Paramānanda Bhaṭṭācarya and Madhu Paṇḍita used to worship Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa Yugala with extreme renunciation. Once, the current of the Yamunā cut into her bank and a very beautiful deity of Śrī Gopīnātha was revealed from under the sand. In the morning, when the devotee Paramānanda came to the Yamunā to bathe, he found this exceptional deity who stole his heart. He entrusted the service of Śrī Gopīnātha to Śrī Madhu Paṇḍita. First, Śrī Gopīnātha resided near Vaṁśīvaṭa, but later on a magnificent new temple was constructed elsewhere and His service and worship continued there.Once, Nityānanda Prabhu’s wife Jāhnavā Ṭhākurāṇī came to Vṛndāvana. As she was having darśana of Śrī Rādhā-Gopīnātha, she thought that the deity of Rādhikā was too small and that‚ if Rādhikā had been a little taller, the Couple would look much more beautiful. Jāhnavā Ṭhākurāṇī returned to her residence after beholding the evening ceremony. That night, in a dream, Śrī Gopīnātha asked Jāhnavā to arrange for a taller deity of Rādhikā. She received similar instructions from Śrīmatī Rādhikā, and had a deity of Her made that was a more appropriate size for the deity of Gopīnātha. The book Bhakta-māla describes that at the time of Jāhnavā Ṭhākurānī’s disappearance, she revealed her own deity and established herself in it. She instructed the priests to install the deity of her in the chamber of Śrī Gopīnātha. When this deity arrived at the temple of Gopīnātha in Vṛndāvana, the priests hesitated to install her along side Śrī Gopinātha. At that time, Gopīnāthajī Himself instructed the priests, “Do not hesitate. This is My beloved Anaṅga Mañjarī. Place her on My left and Rādhikā on My right.” And so it came to be that Jāhnavā stands on Śrī Gopīnātha’s left side and Rādhikā stands on His right.During the oppression of Aurangzeb, the original deities of Gopīnāthajī, Rādhikā and Jāhnavā also proceeded to Jaipura together with other deities. The pratibhū-vigrahas now preside in the temple built by Nandakumāra Vasu in Vrindavan. The Gopinath idol now present at the Gopinath Temple. 5000 Thousands of years after King Vajra, the same deity of Gopinath was rediscovered at Vamsi Vat in Vrindavan by Gadadhar Pandit´s disciple Paramananda Bhattacharya. Later the seva was taken over by Sri Madhu Pandit, whose samadhi is located on the temple premises.Vajranabh (वज्रनाभ्), was one of the last survivors of the Yadu dynasty. He succeeded his father King Aniruddha to the throne of Mathura. He was the great grandson of Shri Krishna and the grandson of Pradyumna.
