Well the view is good but the charges are way more than a average looking cafe the serving and the food arent that great I ordered one coconut water which will cost hardly 40-50 bucks but the amount I paid was 84 which was way much for one small coconut water and my friends ordered veg wrap was for 200/- why I am saying its too much you can check the pictures which I have attached.People go there just to take the good pictures of Hawa Mahal I would suggest you can get much better pictures on the first floor itself no need to pay so much for no reason i mean if you have lots of money of course you do but otherwise I am saying.
The only thing I found good about this cafe was the view. Nothing else seem good to me.All the items in the cafe are over-priced compared to its taste. Firstly, we thought that the over-pricing is not only due to the view as it happens to be in front of Hawa Mahal but also its taste. But after tasting it, I found it because of the view only.We had Paneer Tikka Pizza, Iced tea, Cafe mocha and Cafe frappe. The only decent thing I found was Cafe frappe. Cafe Mocha didnt had a good mix of chocolate and coffee taste in it. Iced tea lacked the tea and it was tasting more like lemonade. Paneer tikka pizza was prepared in such a hurry that the toppings were not done well. There were only few pieces of Paneer in it and that too were raw. The sauce was flowing from the pizza as well and the taste was overall not good at all.The service was not that great too. I agree since it was crowded it is difficult to manage everyone at a time but still the person should value everyone as everyone in the cafe is their customer.I was purely disappointed and the only thing I found good was the view.Overall:Food: 2/5Service:3/5Management: 2/5Ambience: 3/5I hope they take these reviews under consideration and improve their food so that people can have a good time.
Too toooooo toooooooooo..... Much expensive 😱😱😱Horrible pricing for whaat.....???A cappuccino for 150....😰😰
Wind view cafe is located exactly in front of Hawa Mahal. You get amazing shots with Hawa Mahal from this place.Food is good too, mostly quick bites/snacks.Only downside, very less sitting space, difficult to get a table immediately. You can also explore the market for traditional shopping.
Amazing small cafe bang opposite to Hawa Mahal .The location is superb and perfect for clicking pictures of Hawa Mahal. The cafe serves some good fast food and soft beverages and shakes. The place is usually packed and filled with tourists who want to click pictures in front of Hawa Mahal .The staff is nice and understand that picture clicking is also important. Usually they dont rush you untill u are unreasonable.Overall its a nice place and a must visit if you are in Jaipur.
The charges are way high as compared to the quality, i ordered cold coffee in which 60% is water and rest is foam. No music, i guess the cafe is running because of the Hawamahal view it has. I will suggest to better visit Tattoo cafe which is just adjucent to this.
The best view in Jaipur, from a good cafe serving good food options at moderate prices. The staff is really helpful in clicking your pics. Why the best view, the you have an unobstructed view of the Hawa Mahal glowing at night! Be here around 7pm and witness the changing colours of the beautiful Hawa Mahal and this sky and the Nahargarh in the backdrop.Their honey lemon green tea is really good!
The above given 3 stars are only for the view from this place. The service of the cafe doesnt deserve a star. We ordered coffee and they said the coffee machine is not working so we ordered 2 lassi and 2 sandwiches. After waiting for half an hour we just got our lassi and so we cancelled our order for sandwiches and there was no sign of regret on the face of waiter. Seeing us a group of foreigners sitting beside us also cancelled their order for which they were waiting since an hour. To summarise no service, prices are high, very chaotic... Visit just for pictures.
A small cafe situated opposite to Hawa Mahal at height almost equal to Hawa Mahal. The best part was view of Hawa Mahal. Visited during evening time before sunset till sunset. View was fantastic.Another best part was staff. Very courteous. Had discussion with them. Wonderful talking to them.Coming to food - Iced Americano, my favourite, was perfectly made. Garlic Bread was fine. Also ordered cappuccino which was fine for me.Overall 4.5 from my side (no option of giving 4.5, so 5 from my side.)
The view here is really lovely. Hawa Mahal just right in front of you. The food however is on an average rating. The waiting time is really long, and the tea or coffee arrives so late that it’s cold. The place is really famous among the tourists who come from different countries to Jaipur. You’ll love the view. Click some good photographs when you’re visiting.Carry your photograph. Visit the place in winters to enjoy the sunlight !
Only famous bcoz of the location, ie exactly in front of hawa Mahal, this spot is only for taking pictures, the food and beverages are worst, taste is tasteless
We visited this cafe just for the view of Hawa Mahal. A good spot to click a picture with the hawa Mahal in the background. One can enjoying dine in watching the busy street shopping in the road beneath the cafe. The roof top is the best place to watch the sun setting over hawa mahal. Food was also good. Inner seating space is a little tight though. but not everyplace should consider by its food quality some should be consider by its other benefits.. and view from this place left me speechless.
I was returning from Ranthambore to catch flight from Jaipur airport & i had just 3 hours gap but didnt wanted to leave without visiting hawa Mahal. Got a bike taxi and reached hawa Mahal, got into this beautiful restaurant which got amazing view for hawa Mahal. People who want to sit on hawa Mahal side n enjoy food, take pics / selfies etc can visit this place. I ordered for combo ( capuchino & cheese sandwich) which was around 280₹ and its ok for one time visit.i will recommend this place who ever visiting hawa Mahal.
The only thing is good here is just the view of hawamahal and nothing else. Uselessly high price of food and literally the food is yuck..no taste. I have waste my valuable penny here.
Wind view cafe - situated bang opposite to the famous Hawa Mahal, offers splendid view of the facade. People mostly visit these cafes just to have opportunity of great pictures with the Hawa Mahal facade on the backdrop. Food wise, the quality is good at reasonable rates. Service here is decent enough. Posting below the pictures taken from the cafe.
The place was good. Food was a bit overpriced but it tasted well. Also you can get the most beautiful front view of Hawa Mahal, thus its worth spending some time and get some food here.
Food are ok. View are exceptional. Staffs are nice and attentive. We stop for a short break during long touring day. Small finger food ,chai tea, and lassi to get going was worth.
A cafe with an amazing view of the Hawa Mahal . Good food and friendly staff
Another great cafe just in front of Hawa Mahal. The roof top is the best place to watch the sun setting over hawa mahal. Food was also good. Inner seating space is a little tight though.
Do visit during sunset times, there is no matched place in jaipur where you can relax with mesmerizing views of sunset. One side is soul soothing views of mountains. Other one is iconic view of Hawamahal. Some of the best pics may be clicked. Other cafes around are full of crowd but this one is for people want to relax amid tranquil beauty of jaipur. It was my bday and they made it with awesome decorations in a fair deal.
What a view from this cafe. Hawamahal. Just amazed view. Food quality is below average.. but not everyplace should consider by its food quality some should be consider by its other benefits.. and view from this place left me speechless.
Wind view cafe is situated on the opposite side of hawamahal. It is on third floor and way to the top is very sleek and narrow. Main attraction is the view of hawamahal from the top as it will give you full front view of the beautiful palace. Food is average and little bit costly as compared to the quality. But view of the palace is the USP and everyone is there to get mesmerize with view and have some snacks.
Great cafe for photo clicking with the view of Hawa Mahal.
Went to this place to have good time with friends, after a few good pics the plan was to sit and sip some coffee, Instead this person who called himself owner of this space started objecting our taking pictures. I was shocked how a person in hotel industry be so rude and behave with you like this. The other cafe near it also gives a good view. I suggest you go there.
😍Want A Mesmerising View Of the Hawa Mahal ? ..📍Visit - The Wind Place , Badi Chopad Jaipur.🌸As the name implies , this is upper story restaurant is right across the street from✔️The Wind Place — Hawa MahalThis place offers your stunning views of Hawa Mahal and the old city of Jaipur...The food quality is good at very reasonable prices , their menu is really good with multiple varieties of cuisines... .🍽 I totally loved chocolate sandwich & Hazelnut Frappe 😍 maggie is everyone’s all time favourite.. ..#sandwiches #cityplace #jaipur #windplace #greatlittlecafe #simplesnacks #steepstaircase #hawawahal #rooftopterrance #view
Nice view and delicious food but the size is very small plate with a bit high price.
The food is good. I really appreciate the owners as I would like to share one incident here. My son usually eat dal and chapati. We have our lunch here we order thali. he really likes the dal. Unfortunately he finished it within few bites. He wants more so we asked the waiter for refill the dal only and ready to pay for that, the waiter said only dal not possible we have to order full meal again which is not correct. Luckily owner was listening that he went kitchen and asked his cook to prepare that and he brings it by him self. Well thats very kind of him.Now the view from his restaurant is awesome. Food is really good.
Perfect location. Great Ambience . service is also good.
The view here is amazing. Located just opposite Hawa Mahal, the cafe is on strategic location. You can click some amazing evening or night shots ofnot only hawa Mahal but Jaipur city. 2 floor cafe is a great for travellers. Some nice options for quick bite but food is a bit pricy with average taste.
Thing about this cafe was hawa mahal view. Food is expensive. you cant click any pictures without ordering any food .
Its good only for hawa Mahal view and all things are bad but I think other side cafe is good than wind view cafe
Best thing about this place is the view of Hawa mahal. Especially at night, Hawa mahal from here looks amazing. They serve decent food but at a higher price. The staff are polite and the ambience is good. It right opposite to Hawa Mahal and is crowed most of the time.
Awesome ambiance and best location for a romantic date.. staffs are very polite.. very cost friendly place to eat..
Don’t come to this place if you want to sit down and enjoy a view. The view isn’t that great anyways compared to the Tattoo place just besides. You will have about 20 minutes to eat something and take some pictures and then will be asked to leave. If they have costumers they will say they’re busy and that you need to leave the premises. Not in a good way even. You’re not finished eating when they take away your plates and they tell you “you can go now sir we have many customers”. I’ve never encountered such practice in any place of the world except for this one and it’s a shame that they’re damaging their business like that but it’s on them. Nearby Tattoo Cafe has way more space and it seemed like the manager was not kicking anyone out from there.
Ridiculous place, unreal high price and worst taste. Foolish couples and self made puppets has hyped this place. Dont dare to go if you hold a little sense.
Wind view cafe, located just in front of The Hawamahal. The best and the only thing to be here is the location itself. We too visited this place just because we saw some pictures which had been taken here. So (5/5) for the ambience.Service is pleasant and cordial (4/5).Moving ahead to the food, We had a cheese nachos(3/5), one chilly paneer(actually they served a main course type chilly paneer, If I would have get some chapatis with it, it would have been better to eat it 😂), one green apple cocktail(4/5) and one iced brewed coffee(3/5). A bit pricy as compared with the quality of food but it is okay to charge it according to the location.I would say, this is not the place to have something really good to eat. You can just have some tea, coffee and sandwich along with enjoying the perfect view of Hawamahal.
The cafe is situated at prime location but its not worth. We ordered red sauce pasta and cheese nachos at first as a starter. Apart from high prices the dishes tastes worse. There are better cafes and restaurants to visit in pink City but this cafe was a total damage to our tongue and mood... Extremely disappointed
Quaint little cafe with a lovely view of Hawa Mahal. Service is good, very friendly but a little slow. Not much variety of food, but food was delicious even though the portions were a little smaller than usual.Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we were rushed off by the staff when they started to pack up around 8.40pm for closing at 9pm. We had checked Google before and saw that closing was at 10pm.We still had a good time though.
Small quaint rooftop cafe with the view of Hawa Mahal. You should get here during the sun set for the views. It’s mainly vegetarian and cash only. Try the masala Maggie on a chilly day. Staff is courteous to tourists.
Very bad service no taste
This place has just one advantage of being located exactly in front of the Hawa mahal. One can enjoy beautiful view from this rooftop cafe. But make sure you go during evening coz during noon its too hot and you might not prefer to sit outdoor. Food was way too expensive and that too with poor taste.
The location of cafe is perfect to enjoy the Hawa Mahal View peacefully. Located exactly opposite to Hawa Mahal, Wind View is a small cafe ideally for early morning breakfast or a mid snack.
Situated directly opposite to Hawa Mahal, the café overlooks this beautiful monument. You can get amazing pictures with Hawa Mahal as your backdrop. It’s definitely worth the visit as this café serves some amazing food and kulhad lassi which you can enjoy with a great view. The café is fairly priced and not too costly, considering the location. Service is quick too. It’s a must-visit place, for sure!
Lovely place... get best view of Hawa mahal 👌👌
A must visit place for tourist
This cafe is infont of Hawa Mahal. From here you can see the Hawa Mahal easily and sunset view also. Its small cafe here you can click the good instagram pictures. You can enjoy the view with food. If you are tourist you should visit this place and if you are local you can go for here hangout.
Worst experience because of staff behaviour with customers. Staff is not taking care of their customers. Till now, I visited many cities and their restaurants, I got good with staff behaviour good or food is ok but staff behaviour is good. But here food was ok but behaviour is worst.Sorry to say but staff must take care of their customers first.
The café is situated just opposite to hawa mahal. Here you can enjoy snacks, satisfy your hunger while experiencing the majestic view of hawa mahal & aravalli hills of our beautiful Rajasthan. The food is delicious & the services are quite satisfactory. For convenience you should visit here by 2 wheeler rather than 4 wheeler as you wont find the parking. Also you should visit here in the morning or the day cause evenings arr too crowded .
Good view of the palace. Masala chai was nice but only warm. Still, above the traffic so a bit quieter.
Beautiful view of Hawa mahal during sunsets. The food is alright the service is a very tad bit low.
Didn’t really try any other dishes but their coffee was good and reasonable price with the amazing view of Hawa Mahal. The staffs were friendly and helpful as they know most tourists there are for photo taking. It is located right across Hawa Mahal and a narrow and shady stair case will lead you up to the top. Along the way there will be People trying to get you into theirs shops just politely reject and walk straight up to the cafe if you don’t feel like shopping.
Worst food.... worst service. I ordered aloo parantha for my 1.5 year old baby.... and wen I taste the parantha before giving to my child imagine what .....??? Aloo were not boiled properly and the parantha was also not cooked properly. Then I ordered butter slice... I instruct the staff that butter slice should not be crispy. But again I got disappointed....butter slice were dry from outside... my child was crying for food n their service was too bad... they charge 800 rs for complete order..... worthless experience.... bakwaas
Really nice cafe with a reasonable menu for the location. The service was friendly and of course the view was great. They also have WiFi that was working (maybe not fast). It does fill up. Perfect for pictures.
Very nice place just oppsite Hawa MahalVarious options of foodRate are well pricedMust come here
We specially came here for the view and not for the food! The view did not disappoint, the roof top cafe is on a higher level opposite to the Hawal Mahal. You can take some amazing pictures and observe the Jaipur streets from all four sides.I definitely recommend visiting this place or any other cafe that is opposite the Mahal. Because the Mahal itself can get pretty crowded and it is nice instead to sit on the other side, enjoy the architecture.Ofcourse, the food is slightly expensive and not that great. So go and order something small like a coffee and sandwich, while enjoying the view! :)
Visited the cafe for the great view it provides of the Hawa Mahal. The food here is pretty average , and dont do justice to the prices charged.
Overall the food is good but the place is quite small
A Cafe with amazing view of the Hawa Mahal.
The view is excellent. It is a quite small and compact cafeteria.
Beautiful view of the Hawa Mahal with delicious food especially their pasta and pizza.
Right in front of Hawa Mahal are many cafes that offer a beautiful view of the palace. We tried Windview Cafe and the experience, in terms of the view, was wonderful. The food was average. It was over-priced and the delayed service further added to the dissatisfaction. One fun observation that we made was that this cafe served us sugar pouches that were from J. W. Marriot!Points only for the view!
Great cafe with good staff and the best part about this cafe is the view that you will get from here is amazing...... A must visit place in jaipur
Great view , great value for money but they can do better with comfort sitting . No efforts are of on presentation .
Best place to get your photos clicked of hawa mahal in background.. various eatables and drinks at reasonable price
Amazing view food and staff memorable experience overall
Awesome 👌👌😍. Perfect place to see this Hawa Mahal
Good view, veg food ok, but toilet too small and feel not private
Wind view cafe is a small shop on the third floor with a perfect view of Hawa Mahal right opposite to it. The evenings are breathtaking, though the main entrance it hard to find also the passage to the top is quite sleek but it offers relaxing experience from the top.
5 stars for the view, food was so-so. But everyone here come for the best view of Hwa Mahal. Enjoy bfast here as early as possible as tourist will flack a little shortly and ruin your peace.
Location is good, recommended in cloudy weather. Prices are as per foreigners so seems bit high for locals.
