Visit To Laxmi Mishthan Bhandaar, also known as LMB, was fantastic, as well as a learning experience. The sheer quality, & the variety of products prepared by LMB on daily basis, is a testimony of the legacy of the brand that has been synonymous to the Jaipur Food, from ages. Now, heading to what I tried at LMB, Shahi Samosa, was innovative as well delicious!! Shaped as a cone and stuffed with juicy potato stuffing, Shahi Samosa is certainly one of their most loved and best selling snacks.Their Tikiya was fantastic too, served with Meethi Sonth and Hari Chutney!! Simple, rustic and delicious.Pyaaz ki kachori was delicious as well, its one of my favourite Jaipuri snacks and I thoroughly enjoyed it.Dahi Bada was one of the best I have ever had, for the reason that LMB prepares one of the fluffiest badas, which for my palate, is the key to a good dahi Bada.Service staff is amazing, and cares to serve you, and ensure good time.I also got to interact with a dear friend, Ananya, who is the 9th generation of the family that started and running LMB successfully for around a century. Also some of our Followers from Delhi, caught up with us at LMB, and we had time to get clicking for the Cam.All in all, it was a memorable visit, and I recommend everyone to try this culinary institution, @laxmi_mishthan_bhandar#shubhnavratri #happynavratri#LMBJaipur #Vegetarian #JaipurFoodWalks #JaipurFoodTour #LetsTripJaipur

One of the better places to have kachori in Jaipur. There are really 3 main spots / the Rawat, LMB and BMBDidn’t visit BMB, but between LMB and Rawat / below are the tradeoffsRawat has more filling in kachori vs LMB which has low stuffing, tho gives it with chutney which is the right comboRawat has larger servings in sweets vs LMB which has more quantity (e.g., one large Rasmalai in Rawat vs 2 small in LMB)Finally LMB is bit costly as it seems sophisticatedHope this helps!

We had visited on sep 2021. I got refrence from my friend about LMB. You must try. As per me..its not food which i like to eat. I ordered 2 thaali one Rajasthani thaali and 1 shahi thaali. If i start from missi roti ..it was hard and dry. Khersangri (a local herb vegetable) was too bad. Daal is good. Khadhi, sweet, rice few more thing was average. As well as we ordered milk for kids about 500ml rs. 300/- (they told us when we ordered) but we have to take for kids. i have visited so many luxury hotels and resorts they charge less than this. This place is near to hawa mahal about 100mt. Here is paid parking i found it easily in front of restaurants. My hard point & suggestion is that lot of food wastage is here so they should try some option for this like sharing thali or any mini thali. I do not want to refer my friends.Positive* staff is good & humble.I have given one star for staff and one for location.RegardsTeam Unlockyourlife

Would have given this restaurant minus rating if possible. Totally tasteless food, over hyped & over priced. We ordered mughlai biryani with raita. But what we got was nowhere near to taste of a biryani. It tasted like vegetable fried rice nothing else. To justify the overprice they put few kishmish in biryani... Seriously 😂And the funny part was, when we asked for raita accompanying the biryani. They served the meetha dahi, from papadi chaat stall outside the restaurant, giving excuse that in rajashthan meetha dahi is called raita. You can judge yourself now...how much they love to fool customers.

I recently visited Jaipur and ate at this place. Wanted to have some authentic Rajasthani Style food so I ate Rajasthan Royal Thali which was priced at 630 INR at this restaurant. Trust me BAD is not the word. The food was tasteless and absolutely pale. It is overpriced and overly rated place. Sweets are better but they are still very over priced.Simple eateries nearby Hawa Mahal offer much better food and it really excites your taste buds in almost half the price (200-280 INR) you pay here. Very Very Disappointed.

Recently visited LMB restaurant with my family for a dinner. It houses one of oldest sweet shop in Rajasthan that dates back to 17th century and famous for its chats n sweets. The restaurant is known for its Rajasthani thali and North Indian dishes. We ordered paneer lababdar, dum aloo Jaipuri, Butter naan, ice cream, rasmalai and french fries. Food was delicious. We were quite astonished to find that some of the waiters and staff have been working there since 20-30 years. While on our way out we got some sweets (pheeni, Kaju katli). All the sweets are sort of dry and even the chat items are sold either cold of microwaved and given which results in they losing their crispiness. Very arrogant people at shop. Prices are very high for the quality they provide. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. There are other shops in C scheme which give far better sweets at a much lesser price.

I have been away from Jaipur for years together and miss the taste of Jaipur sweets completely.I learnt from someone that LMB (which was famous earlier for Pure Ghee Food and Sweets) has started Online Delivery. When I received the order today, it was a complete DISAPPOINTMENT. I had ordered for 1kg Doodh Laddoo (most famous sweet preparation in Jaipur), 0.5 kg Dodha Barfi, 1 kg Patisa, 0.5 kg feeki Feeni.I have never eaten such BAD quality of Sweets in Jaipur , or for that matter anywhere in India !!Dodha(Akhrot) barfi was not the Dodha barfi at all - It infact , it looked like made from Lauki with added bad quality of Mawa. I was completely shocked by the taste. Doodh laddoos and Patisa were tasting pathetic again. Doodh laddoos are the normal boondi laddoos with added brown color. Patisa has just no taste. My order was summing upto Rs.2k and I really regret ordering and wasting my money on BAD quality sweets which is worse than a local sweet shop too.PLEASE DO NOT buy anything from this shop. You will waste your money and will get only disappointed.Thanks.

One stop shop for all sweets and savouries in Jaipur!!I was in jaipur for only 3 days, hence with local recommendations to buy local savouries I went to LMB and following are my observations:Good things:1. Very good quality sweets and savouries( Their Bakharwadi was really good).2. Good service - They provide tasters and recomend their most moving savouries.3. Everyone knows this place and hence easy to reach through rickshaw or taxi.4. Good restaurant- Tried their masala tea, it was good( expensive though- 1 Cup cost 90 Rs)To be noted:1. Their products are little expensive.2. I bought 750 gms of sweets and they charged me 1 kg. They tried to convince that, it is 1 quantity and not kg. But at last admitted its typo error and reduced the bill.So double check your bill before paying.3. Bang on busy street, no parking facility.Overall, for a tourists with really short stay in jaipur, this is a good place for purchase of local sweets and savouries

Hello Everyone,I would like to have your attention to my worst experiences of this restaurants.I went to the LMB restaurant at Johari Bazar on 15 august based on my friends recommendation. From there I initiated my order by paying the 120 rs through the QR code and it’s successful from my side, the amount got deducted from my bank account, it’s shown on the payment app & bank passbook. But it’s not showing in the restaurant payment app account. On this matter, the restaurant manager starts arguing with me and behaves very badly. He keeps repeating the same thing that the amount is not shown in his app, so he won’t give me the order. He does not even listen to me. I am deeply hurt by your manager’s behavior.I have a very good reputation for this brand, but this incident made me rethink about the brand and service.I don’t think I will come back again to any of your restaurants nor recommend it to my colleagues or friends. This is not about the 120rs. It’s about the behavior and the way your manager treated me.I neither received the refund nor any reply form them. Thanks
