Its Jaynagar Railway station of Indian Railway.One can use free Rail Wifi for 30 minutes here. There are 5 platforms but all kind of basic amenities and shops are only on platform no. 1. There is only one entrance and exit gate, and that is too from platform no. 1. There is a pay and use toilet and also a book shop on platform no. 1.There is newly built parking area for all vehicles with no shed. Station is at the heart of town and market is at the gates of station. Parking, reservation counter and platform no. 1 are wheelchair accessible. Parking area is dirty and its hard to find dustbin in station premise.Safety is no concern here. GRP and RPF outposts are on platform no. 1.There are two railway stations in Jaynagar, one is of Indian Railways and another is of Nepal Railway. But both are adjacent to each other and connected by a foot-over bridge.

Jaynagar Railway Station(JYG) is having trains for all major cities. Obviously, the station is not well maintained and clean. If one arrive at night at the station they may face some difficulties to get to their place.

Basically its a railway terminal situated near India Nepal border. Railway is connected through cities and metro cities. Trains are depart from here to New Delhi, Amritsar, Mumbai, Kolkata, Howrah, Patna , Saharsa, Ranchi, Darbhanga, Puri, etc. Marketplace is near to station. Narrow railway line, Cabs, buses, Rickshaw and Tam-tam are available to go Nepalese cities and towns. Direct buses are also available for Patna, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani.

Situated at the indo nepal border, this is a station where various long distance trains departs.

Jaynagar is situated in India-Nepal border and is last Indian Railway Station. Its old business center and one of the prominent town in Madhubani District. Local language is Maithili and Hindi.On other side of the Border, Nepali train used to connect Janakpur Dham (ancient capital of Raja Janak of Mithila Desh). Currently Jaynagar-Janakpur Railway line is under upgrade to Broad guage line. Local language upto Janakpur is Maithili and Nepali.
