Great community to live in! The ladies in the front take great care of all their tenants and really make you feel at home. Every maintenance request is taken care of immediately, even on weekends. The staff are so friendly, especially Andrea and Alexis! Thanks y’all for making our SOLA experience amazing!!
I am currently in the process of a corporate move from AZ to Jax. As stressful as it is, Alexis made my apartment hunting easy and painless. She was extremely responsive to every question I had and even went above and beyond by staying late to make sure that I got the apartment I applied for. I move in a month and cant wait to enjoy this beautiful apartment complex I will be calling home. Thank you Alexis for all your help and understanding!
Alexis was our leasing agent and did a phenomenal job over several months. We were in a hurry to establish Florida residence and found basic info on Sola South online. We selected an available apartment and completed our application online. Although willing to complete our reservation, Alexis recommended a different unit based on our profile so we switched and she was exactly right. We then needed a garage and then a second garage and she was courteous and thorough in meeting those needs.Every time since our initial contacts Alexis has always been completely responsive to our inquiries and we only want to deal with her since she has done such an outstanding job for us.
I have lived here for almost 4 years now and worked in the leasing office for about a year, and only have great things to say about SOLA. Maintenance does a great job at keeping the property clean and taking care of work orders in a timely manner, and are very polite, they will smile and say hello to you even on the gloomiest of days. Everyone in the office is very friendly and the property managers are always there to listen and take care of anything you need. Rachel the new property manager has brought so much positive change to the community whether its upgrading something or getting fun resident events set up while keeping COVID in mind. Every time my lease was about to end the leasing office would help me find a new unit to transfer to ensuring it was within my budget, and each transfer was nothing short of smooth. The location is awesome! The community itself is full of friendly faces.
The team at Sola is always happy to see residents come by the office! Ive always been met with a smile from the team and they know exactly who I am.Maintenance, although a little tricky to submit for, always has a positive attitude and they get things fixed quickly.
We visited the property several times before deciding and Alexis Witsell was so diligent, patient and kind. Her positive energy is infectious and for sure made an impact on my children looking at this moving process more positively.
My experience started out with calling and speaking to Alexis. I asked if I could visit and tour on my lunch break that day, extremely short notice and shame on me for that. However, she told me to come on down! She answered all of my questions, showed me the amenities, where my unit would be located, pricing breakdown, spoke about a promotion to save me money and was such a polite person, understanding and so helpful. She assisted with my online application and is GREAT at following up! Companies need more dedicated, friendly and efficient people like her. (By the way, they have a 24hr gym yall!! And a salt water pool!!)
Alexis is so kind-hearted and welcoming - she was always available to attend to any of my concerns and answer any questions I had (with a smile!), which made the move-in process very quick and simple. Sola is in a great location and is calm, peaceful, and well-kept. Very happy with my decision! :)
Andrea Lopez was amazing and extremely helpful with making my move to Sola as smooth as possible! She answered all of my questions in a timely manner, is extremely polite and knowledgeable and made the move-in process stress-free! I love my new apartment and I’m glad that she’ll be there to continue to help me with whatever I need throughout my stay!
Sola is a very attractive apartment complex that is extremely well run. We really liked our 4th floor screened in balcony that overlooked the pool. The rental staff is super friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is always working hard, very visible, prompt and capable. If you are looking for an apartment near St Johns Town Center I strongly recommend that you check out Sola.
My roommate and I have lived here for almost a year now and just came up on renewal. Weve had a great experience living here and look forward to signing another lease. Everyone Ive ever dealt with on the staff has been friendly and prompt - Ive never had a bad experience! Like any apartment complex, take the 1-star reviews with a grain of salt; noise levels are just as bad as literally any other apartment complex, but Ive never had a problem with any of my neighbors. While weve had a few maintenance issues (nothing major) and PLENTY of questions for staff throughout our time here, everything has been taken care of quickly and professionally (also have to applaud the staff for handling all of our questions with patience). As someone who personally works in customer service, Im very very pleased with Sola!
Lived there multiple times during a period of 5 years. Recommend - great place, clean and management.
I would like to recognize Andrea Lopez for her outstanding customer service. She’s dedicated to ensure that customers are happy with the service.Additionally, she provided me with an excellent customer service and went the extra mile in making sure me as a customer is happy and satisfied with Sola’s services. Again! Great Job Andrea!
Excellent costumer service from the whole team and Andrea Lopez has been really helpful with all are inquiries. Really recommended, the apartments are great and all amenities.
I absolutely love living here. I was very picky when moving into a new apartment and did a lot of research before choosing where to go. Andrea Lopez has been so helpful and nice. She really made a difference when signing my lease. When I had an issue with my shower, she quickly sent someone out to fix it. I have never had such quick maintenance people at an apartment building before. The maintenance crew is so nice, and they always ask if there is anything else they can assist me with before leaving. The pool is so nice, and I love my view of the pond; my cat enjoys it too. Perfect place to take your dog for a walk, and they are very strict on picking up your dogs poop, which is great. Not planning on leaving here anytime soon.
This is a fantastic property! I’ve been here for almost a year now, and definitely plan to renew. Everyone in the office is super helpful in resolving any issues, and the maintenance team is unbelievably quick in fixing anything! The saltwater pool is the perfect summer spot, and the fire pit is going to be great in the winter. Hopefully they put in something cool where the palm trees were at the pool! And the gym is 24 hours which works perfectly with my schedule. Highly recommend!
Raphaelle Hardan was absolutely so sweet and knowledgeable when my husband and I were inquiring about these beautiful apartments. She made our decision easy and smooth, if we had questions or concerns she was there. Instantly I knew I could trust her. She made sure that we were well taken care of and we loved that!:) also, she did everything in such a timely manner and we are in love with everything here! I definitely will recommend these gorgeous apartments!❤️
Alexis was very helpful throughout the signing process. Cant wait till I move in.
Apartment Complex is poorly maintained. Grass are not trimmed, Gym Equipments are broken and missing, Gym machines are missing handles, Trash everywhere, Gates are always broken, Apartments are in bad shape, Grills are old and dirty, Amenities are in needs of repairs, Bugs and Mosquitoes problems. The worst part of it is that *management refuses to acknowledge any of these issues and will not fix*.This place is not a luxury apartment complex at all. This place charges a very high rent for the values that they are giving back. They add additional fees on top of the base rent to pay for amenities. I sure wonder where all that money goes?
Best apartment complex I have looked at. They have every amenity you can think about. Been living here 3 months w no problems at all. The apartment leasing agents are amazing and will help you step by step. Love it hereeee.
I was apartment hunting and walked into Sola without an appointment and got to tour this beautiful complex with Raphaelle. She definitely worked her magic because I ended up applying that same day. I haven’t officially moved in yet but so far I’ve experienced nothing but attentiveness and professionalism from this staff. I will make sure to give another review after living here for awhile but the way things have been headed, I’m sure I’ll like it here. Thank you Raphaelle!
The leasing office is on top of everything, and responds in a timely manner. Raphaelle helped us with the move-in process, and always went out of her way to help us. The apartment complex itself is very nice.
If you are looking to find a home at SOLA ask for Andrea Lopez. She is such a friendly and passionate community manager and always willing to go above and beyond for her residents!
Raphaelle at SOLA was very friendly, and helpful. She always answered our emails in a timely manner, and made the move-in process as smooth as possible. Overall satisfied with our experience so far at SOLA.
Great place to live. I love the gym and pool area.
Extremely bougie, one blond women with very big hips was super rude for no reason. Can find a better place with nicer people and a much simpler way to dispose of my trash.
The property manager Sejla was so kind and warm hearted. She made the leasing experience so wonderful. My husband and I have had no problems and we love it here so much. It’s a great place to live for anyone! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for luxury living.
The grounds are beautiful and clean. We had a great tour with Andrea she was wonderful. My girlfriend and I ended up leasing because the property manager joined our discussion and gave us so much helpful advice about the surrounding area. We felt so welcome we had to sign!
Alexis was very friendly and helpful! made everything super simple when applying. we really appreciate her!
Living at Sola is awesome! It’s a newer apartment complex with a modern vibe. I love the white finish cabinets and the laminate flooring throughout the entertaining space. They also have a pretty great pool, gym, and clubhouse. I would definitely recommend checking them out. The office staff and maintenance are always on top of things whenever you have any requests.
After 3 years of calling Sola home, I am relocating for work and therefore leaving the place I have LOVED for so long. I had never once renewed a lease until Sola, and I have been renting for 10 years. Sejla and her team have treated me like family since day 1. She is the sweetest and has always gone out of her way to assist me with anything I needed. The apartments are beautiful, the floor plan I had was extremely spacious (and hard to find anything comparable to it elsewhere). The upkeep of the property has always amazed me as well. It is still as beautiful as the day I moved in. Maitenance is incredible, addressing anything I needed faster than I expected. I never had any major issues but still, silly things like a fire alarm battery, and my dishwasher drain at one point wasn’t draining properly, it was always addressed immediately. My new apartment has some serious shoes to fill. I recommend Sola to everyone that wants an amazing community to call home.
Sola is amazing and everyone in the leasing office is so friendly and helpful! I have lived here for three years now and have loved it. It’s a beautiful, clean, friendly complex and I have absolutely loved living here.
Sola is one of the prettiest, most well-managed apartment complexes in the state of Florida. The property manager, Sejla, always goes above and beyond to take care of everyone and everything. She is one of the best assets of this community and we feel so lucky to have someone we can truly count on.
I have lived at SOLA for two years and it is a great place to live for all ages! The amenities are amazing, leasing office is super nice and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to help you out. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to move in the Jacksonville area. Great location too off JTB and I-95.
Poor customer service! Very unfriendly manager! And urine soaked carpet. Prior to moving in, the leasing agent verbally confirmed that carpet in my unit was replaced. Upon move in, the home smelled like a kennel/ doggie daycare. When I asked that they please change the carpets because I have a baby, who shouldnt be crawling around in urine, they told me No and asked if I had it in writing that they told me the carpet was replaced. We had to force maintenance to come pull the carpets back, so they could see the hundreds of urine rings on the carpets throughout all rooms. My biggest issue .... is the unfriendly manager.
I want to clarify that I dont live at Sola and is unable to provide feedback on the living experience. My wife and I visited Sola while apartment shopping in Jacksonville. I wanted to give a thumbs up for Roger, who was well informed, patient with my inquisitive self and politely guided us through the amenities and terms. We didnt have an appointment and such a considerate service is wonderful. We loved Sola and their amenities but eventually decided on another community which matched our price range.
I have lived at SOLA since 2017. My experience has been great. The SOLA staff is very helpful. Sejla the manager took the time to contacted me regarding us staying another year. We looked around but she went above and beyond and did what we asked and even replaced our old carpets to get us to stay another year. We love SOLA and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice clean place to live with a very friendly staff!Svetlana
This is a beautiful place to call home. There is a great view is always clean and management always go out of there way to help everyone. Me and my husband move in recently and Roger did everything he could to make it easy and fast for us to move. We love the place.
Spacious abs m abs wonderful setup for a stay
My friend lived here and they have so many horror stories. Seriously avoid this place!!Notice that all their positive reviews come shortly after a negative one to “keep them” at 4 stars.
The grounds are very clean. Apartments are nice, a plus its near everything
Sola is a very nice and safe place to live! I had a great experience when I was helping my daughter lease an apartment! The staff was very sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to others.
Sola is the best apartment complex that I have lived in! The apartments are very nice and spacious. If anything does happen maintenance is very good about fixing it right away for you. Also, the leasing consultants and the property manager are extremely nice, friendly, and caring.
Absolutely in love with these apartments, they are breath taking and in such a convenient location close to everything.Their staff was incredibly sweet and extremely helpful they made my apartment hunting such a breeze. Couldnt of picked a better place !!
Sola is by far the BEST PLACE to live!!! Signing the lease went very smooth and professional Staff is phenomenal and make you feellike family and the grounds are Exceptional!! Please take your NEGATIVITY BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!! Five stars all around!!!
I have lived at Sola for 8 months now. While my roommate and I loved it at first, we quickly had issues. They have great amenities and the apartments are new with nice appliances. We have big pantries, bathrooms and closets. The dishwasher, washer and dryer could be newer and better working but they get the job done. Maintenance usually responds to the request within 24-48 hours. The people in the leasing office are kind, we have never had a bad experience with them. However,Our downstairs neighbor had loud dogs that barked all morning no matter what. She left an angry note on her door telling people to stop complaining that her dogs bark. They woke us up every morning. There is a CONSTANT slight smell of animal urine and feces outside our apartment. It never goes away. The walls are thin, we hear it every time our upstairs neighbor moves, and our downstairs neighbor complained that she heard us stomping when we dont... the walls are just thin. There have been several roaches even though we pay for pest control once weekly.I got an email from the complex about dog or cat urine being outside our door and we were asked to clean it even though we do not have a pet and they know that. I emailed them back about it and never got a response. When we moved in we had one kitchen drawer with a broken handle and a defective ice dispenser. There is no security deposit so we know we will be fined for several things. The trash service is far too picky as they are quick to give out $30 fees, the trash is not picked up at the same time every night, but they expect us to only keep trash cans outside for a limited amount of hours, and they DONT recycle, big turn off.Lastly it is OVERPRICED. The added on monthly fees are too expensive, for our two bedroom apartment they were asking $1600 a month with fees included. That is the main reason we are moving. These apartments are nice and new but are not up to standard with what we pay for.
Really nice place; management staff very friendly and helpful!
I moved here back in July and I absolutely love my apartment. Maintenance is incredible. I had a ticket placed in and it was done that same day. The staff is really nice and sincerely helpful. They do what they can to help me with any of my needs. So far, my favorite place is definitely the pool and gym. After a good workout, I like to relax and that pool is so nice to sunbathe in. I definitely would recommend this community to anyone new to Jacksonville or anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
Roger,Was amazing and made us feel at home. The place is beautiful wish it had all screen in patios and larger pool. I have to say whether I move in now or later I will recommend people here hands down. A bit high in price and small sqft.
Sola is an amazing apartment complex. Everything in my apartment is brand new and immaculate. The gym has all essentials + I love the cabanas at the pool. All of the staff are super helpful!
Apartments are nice and clean. Love the dog park for my dogs. But some staff members not so friendly! That’s why I moved!
Beautiful apartments for a very great price! Love the amenities (especially the pool) and the office staff is very attentive and kind! Super close to town center without all the bustle and hassle.
Sola apartments has a great staff and the grounds and buildings are beautifully kept. I see the maintenance staff cleaning the breezeways every morning. I think these must be the cleanest apartment breezeways in Jacksonville. Keep up the good work Sola!
Amanda is AMAZING! She gives excellent customer service and goes above and beyond the call of duty. I wish more people are like her. Keep up the good work Amanda.
Amanda was amazing, although I found another property, this would be my second choice. Amanda made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. Very nice to meet her and I know she will do well:)
I am extremely happy with SOLA! The staff is polite and attentive, which is refreshing compared to my last apartment complex in this area. Unlike neighboring competitors, this team will continue to make sure their residents are content after they have signed and moved in. Specifically Roger, who has gone out of his way to ensure that my roommate and I are happy. The amenities outrank my previous apartment and are clearly well kept. Reported maintenance issues are responded to quickly and resolved in a timely matter. Most importantly, the property is safe and secure. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking in the Jax area.
Property manager is so rude and unprofessional. The other 3 leasing agents are wonderful.
Very friendly office and maintenance staff. Sejla in the office has always answered my questions, and Brian has been very helpful with any service issue Ive had. Love this place.
Moved in last week. Mr. Lloyd was my leasing representative and I noticed him saying hello and addressing the tenants by name as he showed me various apartments. And there were 5 residents we ran into... everyone he addressed by name. This sort of detail and friendliness had me sold with the complex. Looking forward to a great life in this luxurious apartment building.
What a great find! I moved in a few months ago, and I love it. First of all the customer service is outstanding, specifically, Roger, is extremely helpful. From moving in to last minute package pick ups, he always has your back. The apartments themselves are spacious and clean. The amenities are great, although I do wish there was a stair master in the gym.
Lived here for a year in a 3/2. Liked it a lot but there was no love connection so I probably wouldn’t move back. The apartment was beautiful, especially since we were the first ones to live in it. The front office was helpful... if Roger was there. The rest of them it was hit or miss if they were having a good day or not. We didn’t really run into any issues though. Other than posting a notice on our door about an unauthorized dog in our apartment after one of their “fire equipment inspections” even though my dog was on my lease with all the proper paperwork the entire time.Maintenance was on point if you had an issue they solved usually within 48 hours. Which was phenomenal. We lived far enough from the side the interstate runs by that we didn’t hear any highway noise and the apartment itself was a quiet and nice place to live. The only real negative is the apartment was small for the price we paid for it. The gates were slow so people always drove through the wooden arms and broken them. Which isn’t really their fault but still. You also have to pay to replace the refrigerator filter. Which is an expensive item to replace yourself when you are most likely not going to live there for the entire life of the filter.
The “manager” Shayla is extremely rude and condescending.Interesting to see constant messages and warnings of hours of operation do not apply to office staff using community amenities. Will I reach out to talk with management if it is Shayla?....No.However, I will say Rodger is an assist to Sola! Wish the best for him.
This is a great place with great service at a good price. The staff will listen and work with you to come up with solutions! That is how it should be. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Keep up the great work. It is great to have bottomless Starbucks coffee at no charge! I am excited about enjoying this place more in this next year. I have been here since September. I have been in several apartments in Jacksonville including Coventry Park, Hacienda Club, and Spyglass. I moved so many times because the customer service and attention to customers was poor. I would know by now if that was true of Sola. They have exceptional customer service!
If you have animals this is not the place for you! Not very pet friendly. The codes barely work and they dont like for professional dog walkers to come in. I suggest some place that actually likes animals! The front office staff are rude too!
By far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. I lived there for nearly a year and never had an issue (no move out issues either). Chase was extremely helpful and friendly. Maintenance was great too. If I ever move back to Jacksonville, I will definitely move back to Sola.
From the day we toured the complex to signing our lease it’s been a great experience. Office staff is is very helpful and easy to deal with! Maintenance is on top of all work orders, maintenance requests are fixed the day you put the order in or the very next day!
Living here is regrettable. I would look at some other apartments near by. Do not live here just due to reviews, quite a few 5 star reviews that are not true. I live in building 4000 on the top floor and would recommend.
My roommate and I moved to SOLA in early September and we could not be happier. We moved from another luxury apartment complex in the area and SOLA is far superior. Roger Llyod helped us make the transition to SOLA and his kindness and commitment to his job was one of the main reasons we decided to move to SOLA. The apartments are fantastic! We live in a B2 model and the two rooms are almost equal in size, which is what my roommate and I were looking for. The various color schemes available really set SOLA apart from other complexes in the area. We chose a top floor unit based on persistent noise issues we had at our last apartment complex, but so far we have not had any noise problems from any of our neighbors. The property is well maintained, with the outdoor stairs and hallways being substantially cleaner than the indoor ones at our old complex - and that is saying something. The gym has a great layout and plenty of machines for those after work rushes. The pool is always clean and never too noisy. The only issue we have faced is noise from the hospital next door, mainly in the form of their steam room, but even that level of noise is not loud enough to impact sleep. All in all, we could not be happier to be residents of SOLA and look forward to resigning in a year.
As Many of the Reviews State, Roger Is Amazing. Many of the Luxury Apartments we Looked in the past week are Very Similar. Our Experience with Roger May Just Be the Deciding Factor. Perfect Mix of Professional and Friendly, Knowledgeable, Patient and Engaged. Thx again for all your help Roger.
I really enjoyed the tour that Roger LLoyd gave me. He was so welcoming that he made you feel like old friends.
My roommate has already written a review with many complaints we have of this place but I will try and keep mine short. It’s overpriced for the space you receive when you compare it to many other apartments in the area. On top of that, my closet has had a cockroach problem since I’ve moved in and today I was greeted with two cockroaches and multiple tiny little green bugs crawling everywhere. I can’t wait to get out of this place at the end of the month.
Visited the apartments for the first time yesterday. Roger was our guide. He was amazing. He answered all of our questions. The ones he didn’t have right away, he emailed me before I got back home. Apartments are beautiful and I am definitely keeping Sola in the running for our next home
Just moved in and we love it so far. Roger and Jennifer have been great through the entire process. We are happy to call SOLA home!
Very impressed with Sola and how they went above and beyond for us. Siobhan was super friendly, professional and helpful. Hands down the fastest and easiest leasing experience we’ve ever had! Apartments are clean and well maintained. Military and pet friendly, definitely will recommend to all our friends.
My move was very smooth. Everything was handled in a timely manner and the apartment was very clean and it seemed like no one lived in it before. Thank you!
My friends live here. Seems like a pretty nice place
I have been in contact with Roger for about three weeks about a unit, he was never abrasive or overbearing. He even when asked about other places that are good in the area, he gave us some. I now am going to sign a lease this week with Sola just because of Roger and the way he treated me and my girlfriend. Thanks so much.
Pros:- The amenities are fantastic (pool, fitness center, pool table, coffee bar)- Unlike other comments, I find that the grounds are quite clean- The apartment seems pretty energy efficient; we dont pay that much in the way of utilities- The staff in the office (and Kharim who works on the grounds) are friendly and helpful- Recycling is coming soon- We dont usually hear our neighbors or noises from hallway/outside- If/when the gates are malfunctioning, they are left open so it is no problem getting into the complexCons:- There is considerable noise from the highway traffic and (very early on some mornings) the maintenance crew at St. Vincents hospital next-door depending on the location of your building- The industrial-like window blinds are not easy to open and close (I actually peeled some skin off my finger once >.
This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. It was great at first, then it went downhill really fast after the new management came in. Hopefully these reviews dont have a word limit because there is a lot of negative about this place. Most of the negative is directly related to management.1) They charge fees not in your contract and threaten to evict you if you dont agree to them and amend your lease to include them. The most notable incident of this is when they decided to implement a dog DNA testing program. Obviously, this program was new so it was not in ANYONEs lease as a requirement or condition of leasing an apartment. What they decided to do was to send every pet owner A THREAT OF EVICTION right off the bat. The first anyone heard about it was literally this letter. In the letter they stated the new program and that all pet owners would be REQUIRED to have their dog DNA swabbed and to amend their lease agreement(they were literally forcing people to sign amendments after having their dogs swabbed). Failure to have the dog swabbed by a certain day would lead to a $150 fine and refusal to collect rent(which would lead to eviction). Additionally, they forced everyone to agree to a $150 fine whenever anything on the property was collected and matched to your dog.Coincidentally(lol, sarcastic), dog collection bag dispensers in the dog park all went empty soon after the program was in full swing FOR WEEKS. The day they were finally refilled, everyone got a letter from management BOASTING about how they were able to collect a significant amount of samples, mainly from the dog park! This situation reeks of fraud and entrapment. They are obviously using this to increase their profit, not deter people from neglecting to clean up after their pet. They also fine you for having excessive garbage. This is a $50 fine apparently. I say apparently because the first I ever heard of this fine was when they charged it to my rent. It is not in my lease anywhere. The only thing in my lease about garbage is that I pay them a monthly amount to have it collected. Additionally, there is nothing that defines excessive either. All I know at this point is that 2 securely tied typical kitchen bags by the container is worthy of a fine. It should be noted here that the can they give you barely holds on bag and they do not collect garbage on Friday and Saturday. hopefully on those days you either live close to the ONE garbage collection area so you dont have to drag your garbage a quarter mile away to take it out or you just happen to not generate enough trash to have to take it out at all.2) THEY ARE CHEAPWhen I first moved in, I had LED bulbs above the kitchen that never went out or had a problem for over a year. Finally, one of the bulbs died and required replacing. They replaced it with the CHEAPEST LED bulbs they could find. Every time a storm occurs, it starts on a seizure inducing flicker rampage until it is replaced. They switched smoke alarms to a cheaper brand. Initially, the alarms were capable of detecting smoke and carbon monoxide. I guess they felt residents are not worthy of carbon monoxide protection. Just smoke. I assume, to them, that saving a few extra bucks is worth the extra risk of you losing your life. They switched landscapers. The first company was very good and kept the property well kept. The new company is terrible. They often go WEEKS without mowing the dog parks. There are now bare spots all over the property and weeds through the grass areas. Landscaping looks worse and worse every month. They advertise that they have a car care center included. It isnt really though because you have to pay for the vacuums. Not really included if you have to pay. They dont tell you when mail arrives at the front desk because they didnt want to have keep up with the program used to send out the notifications.3) They are VERY overpriced.4) I would have plenty more but apparently there is actually a word limit...
My experience moving into Sola apartments was excellent. I needed to move in as soon as possible and that is exactly what I got. Roger handled my application and move in. He was extremely quick to take care of any paperwork necessary and responded immediately with any questions. I appreciate all their efforts to make the move in process as smooth and quick as possible.
Ive lived in Sola for over a year and couldnt be happier. Its such a beautiful, updated property and the office staff are all amazing. In the office, Sejla is so upbeat and always in such a good mood to greet her residents. She always addresses me by name and asks how Im doing which I appreciate. Sejla maintains her professionalism along with a personality that will instantly brighten your day. I highly recommend Sola to anyone thats looking for luxury at reasonable pricing and a central location!
Moved in today and hands down it was the fast and quickest leasing work I’ve ever done! Siobhana was so kind, helpful and ensured everything is completed with no hassles! Looking forward to having a great time at my new place!
Appliances are nice and new, but too many downfalls - DO NOT RENT! My airpods were stolen right from the kitchen not even a month in, from one of their vendors during an air vent inspection and got no resolution / was never told what happened to my report... also if you like silence this isn’t the place. I can hear my upstairs neighbors every footstep, and their conversations if too loud. Walls are paper thin and they will not help if you have complaints. Sad.Also during COVID instead of taking time to make our property more cleanly, they instead charge you for small things to make money back
Great place to live. Very peaceful and close to everything. Siobhan is great and always willing to help. I recommend this apartment complex
After receiving negative reviews, this place immediately post 5 star reviews to cover up and boost ratings. Months of no reviews and all of a sudden 6 reviews shows up in the span of 3 hours.WHAT A SKETCHY BUSINESS!!!!
We went to Sola last week to look at apartments and were greeted by Roger who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Very nice apartment complex.
Love this apartment complex! Super nice, clean, activities always available, and the management is amazing!
Apartments here get flooded during heavy rain (which is all the time in Florida). If you dont want your things to be soaked, DONT MOVE HERE. Most apartments are probably damaged by the water by now and are growing mold.Water drains poorly after heavy rain as well. So dont expect your toilets to flush. Water will remain in the apartment for quite some time.Weve learned our lesson.
Jimmy showed up with 4 of his workers quickly transforming our mess of a backyard by trimming bushes, unsafe tree limbs, etc and would definitely recommend him and Solstice Landscaping.
Cool spot
Too expensive for the quality of the apartments. Find better rate elsewhere.Does not worth the money.
My experience moving in to Sola has been nothing short of incredible! The leasing staff are so accommodating and helpful with any questions you may have. Specifically, Roger truly works so hard and goes out of his way everyday to ensure that you are pleased with your apartment and the facility! The apartment is beyond stunning, with a beautiful and peaceful view of the lake. The lobby is honestly one of the reasons I initially fell in love with the place - it couldnt be more gorgeous and spacious. The gym always has machines available, and the pool is always a great time on the weekends! To top it all off, living here is very affordable! I truly have loved every second of living here so far and I am so grateful for the Sola staff for making my experience here such an amazing one.
I stopped by here to see what they had available. Looked pretty nice from the amenities and model they showed me but they werent able to show me the actual unit because the computers were down. Left my number but never heard from anyone. I guess they dont know how to reboot or something. Seemed strange that you wouldnt have a recovery plan in the 21st century as computers arent new anymore. Better to know now that they are disorganized than to find out when you have already signed the lease I guess.
TL;DR: I’ve lived at SOLA for a year now and will definitely be renewing my lease.Location: The overall location is quiet, though the complex is next to a hospital so occasionally ambulances can be heard, but not for long. Living on the 4th floor is great, as I don’t hear anyone above, and having a lake view is awesome for sitting out on the balcony for morning coffee or evening wine. The good/bad thing about the balcony is that it’s screened in so there’s minimal bugs, but you cannot have plants hanging off the balcony rails. One thing people complain about are the gates, but other than people running through the wooden barrier arm from time to time, I have not had any issues with the gates. They’re slow, like all other electric swing gates.Kitchen: We have plenty of cabinet space, and the pantry is large too. The kitchen counter space in our unit is lacking though. There is no A/C ventilation in the pantry, so we have to keep the door open or else the room gets too hot. Maintenance will not change out your fridge filters, and you will need to purchase your own replacements that are not cheap.Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Good size bedrooms with large windows and large closet spaces. Bathrooms are large and has a lot of storage space. The garden tubs are also a plus.Maintenance and Staff: We have not had many maintenance issues, but the one or two times we did call putting in a ticket was easy and the issue was fixed that day. Staff has been incredible overall. I was moving from a different state and didn’t have a solid date on when I would be arriving, they were very understanding and we handled all paperwork over email. It worked out great. Roger and Amanda are really fabulous and are always a pleasure to speak to. The community events they throw are well attended and are always well thought out and fun. I also love Food Truck Wednesdays.
Raph in the leasing office is a gem 🤩
I honestly love living at Sola! The apartments are beautiful with brand new appliances and granite countertops. Location is great and I actually feel safe walking alone at night being 5 feet tall. The selling point for me is the gorgeous saltwater pool and the free cookies, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the front office. They started doing all these events and free giveaways every month so thats awesome too. And Roger in the front office is the best! My only complaint is that there is no recycling.
Lyraine and Marcos are great. Always looking out for us. The place has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, 2 dog parks with dog-training materials in them, a saltwater pool, outdoor fireplace, grills in the pool area and surrounding the pond, a game room, yoga room, gym, full body massage chairs and more.Service is what matters to me most. When our a/c went out, I called the office and they fixed it the same day. When my fridge started leaking, I called the office and they sent someone over within 5 minutes to fix it. Really doesnt get better than that guys. If you are looking for a great place to live with friendly residents and eager-to-please leasing agents, Sola is the place for you.
The inside of the apartment unit is absolutely beautiful. Can’t say the same for the rest. The staff is very unhelpful, use extreme caution when signing a lease agreement. There’s two gates when trying to get in and out. One that opens like a door, and the other like a toll booth. That means longer wait times. Gates get broken quite often, and glitch sometimes so if you have a nice car watch out, use extreme caution to avoid car being damaged. If you don’t live on the 4th floor you messed up, you’ll hear every single step from the person above you on the laminated floors. The outside of the property is okay, if you can get used to the smell of feces, the community is too laid back on not cleaning up after pets. When the property has lawn work done they need to get rid of the sandy walkways, and fill the empty patches of grass. Be careful with office staff, they will share personal identifiable information with other residents. The Starbucks machine is a awesome, wish staff would maintain the machine more. When you drive up to the office area to get a cup, and the machine won’t let you because the filters are empty. Awesome thing is they do have pest control! Would suggest staying home when pest control comes to put pesticides in your apartment, otherwise you may end up touching it, or brushing something on it that may cause bodily harm to yourself, family, guests, and fur babies. The property does have valet trash, no option for recycling though. The carbon footprint by the property leaves a big dent. Would suggest buying a water filter the water quality is not the best, has the strong, dense chlorine smell/taste.They have cookies by the leasing office, just wish it was more consistent on putting them out. Parking is a problem if you have a 9-5 job, when you come home you’ll be having a pretty decent walk to your unit. Unless you spend 175 for a attached garage. The community parking spaces are pretty tight. So if your purchasing a new car get the scratch protection, or buy a bottle of Meguiar’s Scratch 2.0, your car door will get dinged by someone opening their door. Make sure to read the lease agreement before you sign it, and request a copy ASAP! That way you know if there were any changes. If you have a dog they have an awesome dog park, beware of sand fleas! Community is open to all breeds, you’ll see bulldogs, pit bulls, German Shepard’s, and the little ones as well! Walls are paper thin when it comes to noise, so it’s rolling the dice if you get that one neighbor who plays their music too late, or even too early. Property is by a new management company called South Oxford Management, I will not trash the managing control entity. I will however suggest looking at all the other properties they own, and reviews. That way you can get a better picture. This is a new constructed property, you can tell it was done in a rush the floors on the upper levels aren’t entirely even so keep an open mind which shoes you’re wearing to avoid wet feet going to work after it rains. Make sure your windows are closed air tight when the ac is running, the seal around the doors and widows looks like it was rushed. Check that doors are firmly closed with the seal that’s installed. There’s a beautiful pond in the middle with a walk way located at the center of the apartment. Would suggest waiting until winter or you’ll have buggy teeth if you take a jog there. If you can live with the sound of New York City sound, by all means building in the back is perfect for you, because you’ll hear all the cars, trucks, motorcycles, and lots and lots of sirens going to the hospital right next to the apartment.
I visit my girlfriend who is a resident at Sola a few times a week. Since the recent change of management, the Sola community has made a turn for the worst. The management and staff micromanage their tenants like prison in all honesty. From issuing fines for leaving your trash can out past 0900 hours, without the consideration of everyone’s work or life schedule. To threats about management wanting to collect your pet’s DNA, Incase feces were found on the property, so it can be traced to the owner to issue a fine plus laboratory fees. And to top it all off, they now invade your privacy with a “mandatory monthly filter change” or in other words- inspection. I know this because my girlfriend was fined $500 for having a doggy bowl on the floor, which was there for her father’s service dog when they visit. After I post this, I know Sola will reply with a generic response to cover themselves. So, there are other more amazing apartment communities nearby. Please avoid SOLA at all cost. I would hate to say, “I told you so.”
Nice apartments. Visited a friend
