Beautiful temple. Dharmsala is available for the visitors in the temple premises. View from top is amazing. Around 450 steps are there and Best time to visit the temple in early morning. Large parking space available here. Local food shops are also available outside of the temple.

This temple was made by an elderly woman some 650 years ago by grinding Atta/wheat at others places and putting that money to build the temple. This temple has that chakki placed that she used on one of the mandir shikhar.

Pisanhari Marhiyaa Dig. Jain Atishaya Kshetra Jabalpur is a famous pilgrimage place known since last 500 years for its extra ordinary story of development and dedication of an old woman, who worked hard for construction of a Jain temple here by her own income and labor, situated on a little hill – 300 Ft. in height.It is said that there lived an old woman in the city of Jabalpur at that time. Grinding of wheat floor by hand driven grinder was the only source of income for her. Once she heard preaches of a Jain saint [monk] and getting inspired by monk, she decided to construct a Jain-temple. But there was the problem of money being poor, so she decided to work hard instead of bringing money from others. The power of firm decision made her strong enough to work harder to collect money for construction of her dream temple, even being old enough her dedication filled high level of energy in her and this continued up to the sufficient collection of money.
