When I first heard the name I thought it was some kind of a battlefield or war zone. But when I visited this place I realized that I was wrong. Kargil Junction is a very peaceful town. What makes this town unique is the fact that two shopping malls are located next to each other here. The city of Kannantharapadi, very popular in south India, is very close to Kargil town.The beautiful scenery, the rich culture, the aristocratic and sophisticated natives and the rave party clubs make this town a paradise for the tourists. Its absolutely a rocking town.
