Not spicy. Quick service. Inside an Indian grocery store. Minimal seating tables (5) people usually get take outs. Reasonable rates. Good portion sizes. Family of 4 eats to fill under $40
Decent grocery store, and they have lot of Indian items like utensils, mud pots, and other things. There is a small food joint as well
Food taste is very good. Pav Bhaji is best in the surrounding area. Price also reasonable
Ordered from here several times and this last time I ordered I was cheated on my food amount. I always order the half pound portion of their curries and other items and get it frequently so I know what it looks like. This time I ordered for pick up and they gave me a super small amount and I weighed it and it wasn’t even half pound, it was so little not even enough to fill a teenager. The service was semi rude and the food was alright. I was looking forward to continuing to eat here but I doubt I will ever order from the restaurant ever again. The store itself is good this is just for the restaurant. Very disappointed.
Authentic homestyle quality food!! Love their food, always fresh and tasty..plus, being a Gujarati, if you are craving khandvi or fafda or Jalebi, they make some yummy khandvi’s., fafda and jalebis..Wish they added some dhokla and other gujju food to their menu in the future..love ordering from there or picking it up..
We ate Combos and every food was just outstanding. Less oil still so delicious. Must visit if you are looking for homestyle vegetarian food at good price. We just love this place.
We ordered rotis and paneer makahani...Rotis were good but makahani was totally poor..waste of money for curry...I could taste only tomatoes and salt..paneer cubes are hard..never try this again for curries
First of all, the service was absurdly rude. Ordered one order of paratha and one order of samosas, 25 minute wait, okay fine, if they’re busy not their fault. However, the food came out and not only is it VERY stale and extremely bland, the samosas are cold. Don’t come here.
Good place for Evening snacks and Dinner ( Vegetarian) Dabeli(Gujrati snacks) is really delicious. Roti and few veg curries tastes nice as well.
Food comes closest to home cooked, simple, wholesome, with less oil and spices. Moverover, i heard Vishnu Sahasranmam playing in the kitchen. It makes me feel good my food is not only cleaner, but good vibrations are around while staff is cooking the food. Food affects your mind, body and soul.
Methi paratha are not great and never order Tea from this place. Its like drinking hot water
Super quality home style food.. Great place for people who are looking for homemade type food.. My fav is Gujarati Thali, undhiyu and gujju kadhi and gujju dal.. Also gobi paratha and pakora kadhi.. Mango lassi is amazing☺️💕.. All staff is very kind and cooperative towards customers care.. Owners are always personally taking care of customers.
Good food. Not being from India Im not familiar with many of the dishes. It would be nice to have a description.
Very tasty, healthy and helpful and plenty of food for the price you pay. You never be left without a full stomach!!I was a first time visitor and had a very good experience. But while ordering togo food from this restaurant call The Rajwadi number but not the Superstore number. As it was my first time I did so and I sensed that they were a bit upset, which is mot a big thing though, just a point to learn.
Love the food here! This is a restaurant inside Indian grocery store, and the food here is very authentic and convenient portions.Seating arrangement seems limited not like big restaurant, but all things are side once you taste good. That might be reason most people do orders for take out.Service is good and they maintain good hygiene level. They have tawa roti, paratha, and few unique Gujarati dishes which you can find only at homes.Would recommend you if you enjoy North Indian food. Must try!
Great Gujarati food and other Indian homemade snacks. It’s a small yet warm place. I like their Undhiyu!!
Taste like home food 🍱.
They are 100% vegeterain.I have been going there for more than five years.Food quality is really good and same for these many years. They are the best in Valley Ranch Area.Highly recommend.
Good sumptuous homely food. Quantity is good. Prices are not high. Has a grocery mart for inside.
Maybe not as fancy as other places but the store and restaurant are clean and well stocked. Food quality is good and prices are fair.
Good food. Very clean dining area too.
Great home style good.
Good food, suggested to improve customer service
Methi paratha was excellent! Chaat offerings are quite good as well.
3 stars because the owner and his attitude is not the friendliest . Some items on the menu are awesome and others are just okay. I like their samosa s and have usually catered just the samosas from them for parties . Good spot for a quick lunch . The rotis and paranthas are good but they are not flexible in subbing things in your order . I know what to get from here which is - thali and samosa . Rest is hit/miss depending on your taste
Good thali options and their roti is also very good.
I had ordered gobi paratha with mutter paneer and 3 plain paratha with aloo gobhi and kadai paneer .Gobi paratha hardly had any stuffing ,torn on sides. The gravy of both paneer dishes was same and sweet. Not a fan of sweet kadai paneer.Aloo hi hi was ok.My past experiences were good .They used to prepare good food but not any more.Quality has decreased.
Kadai Panner, Sabudana Kichidi and Dal Makhni are tasty. Baingan curry was okayish. They are selling some Gujarati snacks like Chevda which is good. I will definitely try someother items next time.
They serve tasty but expired food, if you are health conscious dont go there. I have personally experienced it many times. My friend used to work there, and she disclosed everything what is happening inside to increase profit. She had left the job after 1 month of service. she told me that they are money oriented people, cheat people for their personal benefit.I have stopped going there now forever.
Delicious. Authentic. Value for money.
Fast service and friendly staff.
Take away whole spices from the chef (specially coriander seeds, ajwain, elaichi, whole black pepper), too much in excess in each snacks/paratha.Chapatis/Paratha used to be good or hand made now it just seems that is made in the machine. Dhokla seems very dryDabeli 4/5 starsRest all the snacks 1/5 starsShrikhand 5/5 starsAalo Paratha 2/5 stars (excess whole coriander seeds)Used to be a great place once upon a time now its just decreasing the quality.
Staff is always super even when they have a full house. the staff was friendly and sociable.
Rajwadi is an small Indian restaurant with cheap/fair/reasonable prices with a great taste overall. It serves you with some local/regional food eaten on day to day basis for lunch and dinner in India. Plus they have Indian snack items too. Taste is mild not much spicy/hot. And a lot more :)
Nice samosas and vegetarian food.
If I could give it 10/5-I would, service was excellent.and food was awesome. Loved their fresh parathas. Best dining experience I ever had. Super friendly staff. The person who is in the counter was so courteous ,patient and really nice. I would recommend this place for pure vegetarians.
Great food options and convenient location for Coppell residents
Amazing Indian ambiance helps to built your mood positively. Staff is very helpful and caring. The person who is in the counter is really nice and very patience. I visited this place for fist time he explained everything clearly, I asked so many questions but he didnt get any hesitate. The way he is communicating is really nice. The place is very nice and prices are reasonable and food is fresh. I like this place. The service is excellent.Decent restaurant.friendly staff and reasonable staff and good food. I definitely recommend this place. Thank you
Food was excellent. I have been coming here for years. Prices are very affordable. Combos are really good. Food is always delicious and served hot. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this place for only vegetarian people. Great Ambiance.
We went here based on the reviews and the food was pretty disappointing. Even on the best day, it may be a 3 given how the place was kept and the way food was served. Shocking that this place has earned such a high rating, although the people and the service was not bad at all.
Their crew were friendly and the food is tasty.
The place is small but have good Indian food options at the restaurant.Food taste was so yummy. I think it is reasonably priced.Visit once if you can to see it for yourself. And be aware, sometimes it can be only cash option if your purchase is small.
Awesome place.. I have been going there for almost 5 years. Taste and people are really good
This place is great! Im vegan so it was wonderful that this place not only has restaurant but also a pretty large grocery store with a freezer section. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
Though they certainly carry some authentic Gujarati recipes, the food flavor appears to be a hit and a miss depending on your luck that day. They increased their prices, now their menu prices is the same or even more than lunch menu prices at other restaurants in the area, depending on the combo you pick. The portion sizes does not do justice to the $$ spend. I am not very enthusiastic about dining their again.
They Sell Stale food. I ordered Veg Combo for to-go. The curry was stinking when I opened the food at home with a very pungent smell. I was a long time customer, never coming back now.
Good little place for quick bite, samosas very good, combos are priced good, we even get groceries. Most staff very friendly, one could need customer service course. We come hungry after library visit, always enjoy portion sufficient and tasty. We have tried many dishes and pleased with all.
Great peope full of respect i will say, serving size way too small for 1 persons meal one time. Quality can be improved in some aspects, cheap food menu but overall you pay more.. great place to go snack but not for a meal.
Overall good quality vegetarian food. Non-spicy. Overall clean & neat ambience. Only negative point is male cashier (tall & stout Telugu person) is not always courteous; rarely greets you with smile. Though he can speak in Hindi, sometimes he is rude.
Pretty small place inside an Indian Grocery shop. Good enough simple Indian food. Self service. Not very expensive also. Looked clean and hygienic food. Most probably I wont visit very often because there are other better options for Indian food in Irving area. Might go for a change.
We ordered snacks and chats from here for my sons birthday party. Overall it was good. But can improve a bit on customer service
I went 5 times until today. Food was amazing everytime. Everything is freshly made.Fried menu is always served hot and fresh.Everyone must try mango lassi from Rajwadi.
Nice small refreshment place with an adjoining grocery store. Try the tea and samosa which is amongst the best in the area. Overall nice place to shop for indian grocery as well as munching on some refreshment..
Best pizza ever
Most probably best samosa in Dallas Dfw they are small restaurant inside the grocery store but it is great experience to my taste buds. 2 dollar for 2 savory and tasty samosa. Probably best samosas thta I ever had after coming to Dallas.
Authentic indian food. Nothing fancy. Dont have enough space to sit and eat. To Go.
Charged me $12 service fee and taxes for the order of $7. Not Happy at all
Good customer service. Great ambiance, Staff are very friendly.. Good place for quick bite. Samosas are good.
Good food every timeSimple Menu both tasty and good quality
I have been here for last 2 years, so far I had never never get disappointed. I appreciate the person in the counter is very ambiance. Great service. If you want simple fresh vegetarian lunch this is the place to go. The food is good and fresh. Roti and paratas are awesome. I highly recommend this place to get fresh vegetarian options.
Nice and small place located inside the Indian grocery store. Delicious vegetarian food. Loved the thali. They have limited options to select from but thats enough though if you wanna try something different out on some day. Limited sitting arrangements but worth going there! 👍🏻 recommended!
Their parathas are really good...I go there for parathas only. Other items are just fine.
Good selection and inexpensive. Honest to goodness food. Dont ask for ambience. It is inside a grocery store. The roti is like hone made stuff
Tasty, savoury menu items! My favorite is aaloo or mooli parathas. They mainly cater south Indian cuisines, although do have common items like different chaats, samosas etc. Price is very reasonable.
I had never had complaints about the food in Rajwadi but this is for the first time i am writing something negative for the food. I have been eating sabudana khichadi for a long time from rajwadi and for the first time i saw mustard seeds in sabudana khichdi. When i asked the owner who eats mustard seeds in fast, he said that if you are fasting, you need to tell us that sabudana khichdi is for fast else we prepare with mustard seeds. I don’t understand in which part of the world, people use mustard seeds in sabudana khichdi whether they r fasting or not.... And the owner is arguing instead of apologizing. I have never seen any Gujarati eating mustard seeds in sabudana khichdi but i swear i wont go in this store again for anything n i will spread to all the friends i know who eat there on regular basis.
Went first time here.. ordered aloo tikki chat and Mirchi bhajiya. Chat was tasty , Mirchi bhajiya had a quite thick besan layer but overall good taste and quality.
I havent eaten at the restaurant yet but everyone here was extremely helpful and happy! That alone has made me want to return! Their mango lasses are like nothing else Ive ever tasted which makes me pretty excited to experience and explore more!
Amazing restaurant with pure desi homelike food. The only place where you can feel like eating at home without hurting your pockets. Must visit!!!
Good home style tasty food and reasonably priced.Slight confusion to trace it as the entrance is not convenient and also has grocery in front.Clean place. Overall good for carry out.
I will be back with my friends. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.
Its good! But the only thing thats a problem is they dont serve 5 or 6 pcs of roti for sale! As 10 rotis is kind of waste for 2 people!
The food is really fresh and flavorful. The workers were very nice to me and helped me out when ordering. Also very clean compared to other restaurants in the area.
I love the food here.. but need to work on more authenticity and fresh food.
Samosa is must try
A small but awesome Indian vegetarian food place. It is clubbed with a grocery store like at many other Indian stores. The quality of food is amazing at the same time the cost makes it an incredible value for money. Pav bhaaji is really good. A refreshing well made coffee is worth trying as well. Overall, this place is a must checkout in Irving area where ambience does not matter, quality and taste of the food is a selling point.
1 star is for the quantity of entree that they give in the combo. For the price they have, the quantity of entree they give is pretty low. The entree that I got in Combo #1 (They have Combo by the numbers, #1, #2 and so on) was hardly sufficient for 3 rotis that they give. Plus they give rice also. How am I suppose to eat plain rice? What I would recommend is dont go for the combo. Instead buy the curry by the weight (1/2 and 1 lb options) and get rotis/parathas separate. Quality and taste wise, they are good.
Authentic Indian food with multiple options for meals for different prices
Had really bad experience with this place and person at counter have no manners !! Person who was in counter took a to-go order for food for me n my family. We waited for almost 45 mins and after that they told they forgot about the order.I had reminded about my order about 15 mins from time of order and guy told me it is getting ready. At the end the person even not ready to apologize about their mistake and was trying to take my order again. I had asked refund for my money instead of waiting more time there. Everyone will do mistakes , but the have some good manners is really important. Wont go to this place any more.
Very good food. Absolute home made style. Good authentic taste.
Authentic home-made and wholesome.Try their combo meals. If you dont mind the calories, undio is a must have.
The owners are full of rage and attitude. They argue about even small things. They talk less about a customer on your face and expect to run a store with such attitude. Never ever visiting and buying anything from this store.
I have ordered paranthas many places that get offered in Indian restaurants here but the amount of stuffing and the delicious veggies that came in the combo plate along with cleanly packed pickles and raita is worth a mention. They even accommodated my childs style of paneer parantha (mild masala). I will be your repeated customer. Much thanks. 🙏
Very few restaurants offer authentic North Indian food ... But rajwadi is one of them ...
Good place to get Indian vegetarian food, combos are good and light on pocket as well. Curries are costly based on the quantity they serve.
Loved their aloo paratha and samosa. This is the place to be if you love samosas.
Pav bhaji could have been better. Paav tastes the same all the time. We go there for the bhaji. Paranthas are the best.
Good place for pure vegetarians. Awesome tasty food
Best place to eat food like home made
Everything is good except for paneer pakoda. Very bland
I’ve tried basically every Indian restaurant in the metroplex and Rajwadi consistently has the best food and service. 10/10 recommend everyone visits this family owned establishment!!
A better option for vegetarian restaurants. It has variety of choices for lunch and dinner like choles, baingan bharta, paneer sabji etc. Also has option of chapati, roti, paratha etc. It also has chats like pani puri, sev puri, but i didnt like taste of it here. But for veg dinner, it is good choice.
