Hot bread was great, but nowadays, they are NOT maintaining standards. I ordered mutton fry and chicken biriyani. Both are pathetic; It looks Stale. I trashed both of them. I am NOT going Order here again.
Food over there is good but Very poor customer service. We went there and waited for almost 30 minutes just to place an order and it was not even busy. There was just one guy before us who was also waiting for the cashier to come and take the order. The cashier didnt even say a word and he was just inside the kitchen whole time. We waited for 30minutes and left because he didnt show up.
Delicious Indian food and a lot of variety. South Indian, North Indian, Indo Chinese, Indian sweets, pastries, tea, coffee, lassi .... It took me a good amount of time to decide what I wanted to get 😃😊. We went with our friends and we were 4 adults and 4 kids. We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa,4 orders of Idlis, 1 Dosa, 2 Chole Bhature and 1 chili Uttapam. Everything came out within 10-15 minutes, delicious and beautiful!! The seating area was good too with a huge projector screen playing Indian song videos. At the end of our meal we got some Mysore coffee and hot tea. Loved it! Highly recommended for a good Indian food taste bud experience !
I ordered ONE SCOOP of ice cream and it took them over 20 minutes to bring it out, I stopped by with my swim team to grab something to eat and we were on a time limit, they couldn’t even bring out ONE scoop of ice cream in 20 minutes, we ended up leaving without the ice cream, WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
We dined in for afternoon lunch, ordered egg,veg biryanis, chicken Pulav and mutton dum Biryani. My highest expectations were thrashed away with the taste, quality, texture of it. They put in like a ton of oil (2tablespoons) in a single bowl of Biryani. When i asked the waiter to carry this feedback to chef, they responded that it’s clarified butter and melted goat fat. Never seen such heavy headed people. Stop making us idiots, please try accepting faults. That’s how you learn and get experience. Nonetheless, be generous. Peace!
Ordered eggless blackforest cake which was way too old and dry. This happened to me second time . Trashed after a single bite. I mentioned them please send the fresh one but think they understood the opposite. Never going back again & stay away folks!
I ordered Eggless cake for my Kids birthday. It was so worst and i didnt feel it was like a pastry cake. $17 for 1 LB with that taste and texture definitely is not worth it.
The pre-ordered 2lb mango cake (with egg) for a birthday party was fresh & delicious. It was appreciated by one and all in the party. The cake was also ready on-time for pick up.
This is my first time visit with my family. Were tasted here vegi, goat briyani, butter & garlic bread, Dal, chicken lollipop etc. All foods are really delicious & price are very reasonable. Were really enjoyed the meal.
I have been getting suggestions from my friends for this place and always wanted to try out the food but unfortunately it couldnt meet my expectations.Pros:1. Service is fast.2. They have a big projector running South Indian Movies.3. Reasonable space.4. Variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian India cuisine.5. Quality bakery product.Cons:1. Not a good customer service.2. Food is very spicy, they havent even asked for spice level.3. Chicken starter was very bad, it seems they deep fried it because meat had a smell.4. Goat biryani had chewy meat.5. Not a great taste. So overall if you are expecting a great taste of Indian Cuisine for a family outing this is not the place in Irving to go, you have better options in neighborhood. If you want a quick service, a take away or a bakery product its a not bad either.
These guys really messed up my birthday girl cake. I ordered cake 2 days before the birthday and when went to pick up. They completely missed it. Asked me to wait for 1.5 hour and still messed up. Dont know what to say but this is really unprofessional place where 5 min is equivalent of 30 min. Do not recommend to order anything from here. You cannot blame the workers because the owner is always missing.
Bought a pineapple cake from this place . Taste of the food is good . But absolutely poor customer service . A very rude person took my order impatiently and when I took to go boxes from the stash , asked me why I did not ask before taking a to go box. Will not go back there . Customer service is everything !
Unnecessarily costly. Food is not that good. Cakes are so costly. Do not place the cake orders here. They are know as birthday spoilers and they are very good at it.
Terrible Service. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GUYS NOT TO GO HERE. Irresponsible Staff as well. Totally messed up our birthday cake order. I recommend anyone and everyone not to go here especially for birthday cake or party orders.
I wouldnt give a star even. I have placed online order of “Paneer Veg Dum Biryani” and got more Chicken Pieces in that..1. Don’t you even care to check what you deliver to customer?2. Do you want us to check the items at restaurant itself before I eat at home?Awful experience and thrashed the biryani finally as I am a vegetarian.Order No #895809
Extremely unprofessional. The guy at the counter was trying to cover up the managements poor service. Except for him everyone was rude. Waited literally 55 min for the biryani. When walked to the counter and asked, an Indian guy with a big belly just walks away. Worst management. Food was mediocre. The schezwan lollipop was good. Will never visit this establishment
Dirty place. Unhygienic. Stay away. Disrespectful management. They don’t clean tables. Place full of rotten food.
Food is very authentic! I love coming here every time I come to Dallas. Customer service is very poor! If it’s your first time coming here, my favorites are their chai, black forest, pistachio cake, samosa chat, dosas, and biryanis! Highly recommended if you love authentic taste and don’t care for service. Will definitely come back again and again.
Only one staff at front desk.Food is good not amazing.Good location.Good place for a IPL night out for Indians. However, there are better places with same experience.
First learn how to treat customers, you just make customers take someone else order if that customer does not take the one you have given and if customer does not accept the food served to the customers, you just ignore the customer until he or she leaves. You must be thinking that customer does not really bother about these things. And, lastly staff did not bother me leaving the restaurant with out eating.probably, they would get paid for not providing service.
Horrible Service... i strongly recommend to avoid this place. dont waste your money.
Good Indian restaurant in Irving which provides to go order also. Mostly waiting time is 20 min.
Customer service is horrible. I walked in to pick up my order and the lady was busy talking with the gentleman in the back while completing ignoring me.
I don’t know why they are maintaining this restaurant with no minimum cleanliness and maximum rudeness towards the customers. My humble suggestion is, if you are hungry, if you want to enjoy the food with family/friends PLEASE GO TO SOME OTHER RESTAURANT, because this staff will never give all the food at a time, they’ll make you wait for long time. The food beside the counter OMG don’t buy that, they dip the food in oil.WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!THEY WONT CLEAN THE TABLES AFTER DINE-INI would like to give Negative ⭐️ for this restaurant. Thanks NEVER VISIT AGAIN.
My husband and I were very pleased to eat there last night, hadn’t eaten anything due to the rolling blackouts , but were very happy to find this restaurant, they serve excellent comfort food and their pastries are very good as well. Plum cake and fruit cake were delicious. Will eat there again , when we visit next time.
They got what you need that is biryani love this place and i am here every weekend.
I went there to buy breads and they were so tiny. Also they don’t give chutneys on the side.
One of the best places to have Hyderabadi Dum Biryani in Irving, Texas.Good ambience, very big Screen to watch Cricket or Movies, Very relaxed layout. Unlike other Indian food places in Irving, TX, this place has a general good feeling while dining. It is not too crowded. And the place does not look shabby. If you want to catch up with friends, or to have a good discussion over good food, I prefer this place.Friendly service, Good selection of food items, be it Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. They have a section of bakery items too. Mirchi Bajji and other Bajjis are served daily here.Home away from home, is the feeling you get here.Only down side I noticed here was, sometimes food was served bit late. Weighing the pros and cons, this one point seemed negligible.Update Feb 8 2019:Recent visit to Hot bread was VERY disappointing !!!We went on Tuesday, but the Biryani is very dried and Chicken pieces are burnt due to repeated heating. Very oily !!!Food quality is not consistent. Quality depends on Day and Time of your visit. Background: We Generally avoid Mondays, because there is a possibility of serving the Day Before food that is leftovers of Sundays Biryani on Monday. Due to heavy rush on Weekend, restaurants will cook a lot on weekends and if there is any left over, they will serve on Monday.Best days to eat Biryani is Lunch on Weekends,Avoid Monday and Tuesdays!!!
Worst customer experience . I called in to ask if plano location was open as we were not getting any response but the person who answered my call was so rude
Very good food. Big portions. Great staff.
Ordered rava masala dosa. Red Chutney that came with dosa did smelled foul. Potato masala dint taste fresh.
How can someone eat inside that restaurant? Ordered a rava masala dosa. Firstly the hand wash area was as dirty as it can get. And food, red chutney did smell and taste foul. Potato inside dosa didnt taste fresh. I can only imagine what happens with togo orders. Im not visiting again.
Quality food, friendly service, Decent food quantity too!! Good tasting South indian coffee and tea. They make amazing biriyanis and appetizers. Theyre cakes are baked perfect! A place that we trust when we need take out.We recently went here to dine in. They have remodelled the dining space and it is very neat! They cleaned the tables as soon as we chose the table. Served really good food cleanly made and our waiter was a friendly lady. We ordered a cake for our friends birthday and the black forest cake was spot on!
Boneless chicken dum biryani and motton pepper fry are my personal favourites.
Please avoid this place , waste of money and time. BAD Food with terrible customer service
This is one of the better Indian Restaraunts in DFW. Large portions made with quality ingredients.
Quality is not good. I heard good reviews and went there but everything I ordered like breakfast, snacks .. all are below quality
Samosa was not at all good it taste like poori with masala not sure why they call it Samosa... Cakes and cookies are good here. I won’t go for Samosa or Puffs
I used to love their potato filled samosas, very different from Punjabi samosa other places sell. Lately I feel that the quality has changed significantly. Last two times I ordered, it lacked significant seasoning. I hope they get back to same quality samosas ans I will for sure be going back.
The food and all is good. But the guy who takes to-go orders needs to get his s*it together. The other day I called him to place an order of two food items and when I asked him to repeat the order he was rude and said bro its just two items. Well I know its two items, but theres nothing wrong in making sure. Whoever that guy is, please let him know that I can buy the entire menu every single day, if needed. Tell him not to mess with customers.
Awful mutton. I ordered mutton boneless biriyani . The server food was pretty bad. The mutton pieces were very hard. And they replaced it with other mutton which was bad as well. Had to leave the restaurant without eating . NEVER ORDER MUTTON BIRIYANI. ATLEAST ON THE WEEK DAYS.
You can get vegan birthday cakes and Eggless plum cakes. Decent bakery.
Very good Indian cuisine. Bold flavors. Usually very busy. One thing not be missed on a Dallas trip.. At least for a South Indian.. Wide range of biryanis are the one to look out for.. And also the evening snacks and tea..Biryani is very good - especially chicken and egg ones. The pastries are good. The snacks are just ok.
Good atmosphere, but the food was just average, especially considering what you paid for it.
Great tasting pineapple pastry and cake. The Eggless version is nice, less sweet, moist and creamy as compared to egg version. Also reminds of EDIBLE Indian cakes from mongins unlike the solid diabetes they serve in the States here.
Our family will miss this place! We were looking for Indian breakfast and finally found south indian style coffee in Dallas. The coffee served hot, so good!! Masala Dosa, Puri Bhaji was so delicious, good texture and all the sauces are amazing, close to what weve tasted in Kerala, India. Came here for 2 days in a row.
Food is good if not great. But the person who takes to go and cake orders should better learn to speak and be polite and patient .That reason I know is enough for not ordering here anymore and for the rating
Superb place, when the Indian man with mustache is not around
As someone said that the biryani taste awesome here. Visited the place yesterday. Few things to note.Cleanliness was really great.Ambience was cool with light music.Display menu items were organized very well and looking great too.Place the order and take a seatOrdered Boneless biryani and it was great particularly with the quantity of mutton. Taste wise it was upto the mark but not something will give goosebumps.Occupancy was least with social distancing in mind.Liked it and enjoyed too. Will revisit for mutton kheema biryani.
This place surprised me beyond my expectations. I was happily surprised by the flavors and quantity of food.Hadnt such good veg korma and paneer biryani in a long time. Jalebi was also pretty good.Service was a bit slow and the AC wasnt able to keep up with the Texas heat, but otherwise, a good experience and a must try.
Amazing Biryaanis & Cakes. Been going here for 10 years. Good place for Snacks & Tea as well.
The service wasnt very friendly this trip, but the restaurant is clean and the food is good.
Theyve redecorated since last time I visited. The place looks great. Love their tea and cookies.
I have had all different kinds of dishes here. Must try included , Punjabi:Cholle bhature, Malai Kofta. South Indian: mysore masala dosa. Indo-Chinese: Veg Manchurian. If you have a sweet tooth, try black forest pastry. Fruity in cake in non creamy choices. Worth ordering a Pineapple cake for any occasion!
Very expensive food 🥘 and zero customer service but convenient as it’s located in Dfw metroplex
Wed 1253 pm. I am at elevated risk for covid. You have a male cashier not covering nose with mask. This is against state mandate. What is the point of covering mouth and not nose???? Please explain why this is happening...
I wouldnt give a star even. I had ordered a cake from here recently. They charged $23 for 1 kg cake. Since its overpriced, youd expect the quality to be up to the mark.It was DRY and HARD. Absolute waste of money and time. Also, they were reluctant to make small customizations to the cake. I asked for Butterscotch crumbs both outside and inside the cake. When they showed us the cake, there was none on the outside. They asked for EXTRA when we pointed the cake was not how we asked for. There were no crumbs on the inside either. Why take orders if youre going to do a half-hearted job anyway?Absolutely disappointing. Keep up with these business ethics, youll not see new customers soon. People recommend good products and services to others, not bad ones.P.S. Theres no point apologizing on here, do a better job beforehand.
Got text about promotion but they are not offering free appetizer for any biryani or pulao. As per them the offer is only for 24th Jan. What a lie on face cause they still have same offer and poster in their website and front of cash register in restaurant. I m attaching the offer detail if any one can read english please let them know it says valid from 24th Jan to 31jan. What a management.i m sorry for them.
I was recommended this place and came here 2 times before this but now i will definitely recommended others NOT to go here. I understand being busy but when i get told it will be 20-25 mins for 1 bhel puri and 1 samsosa chat i still decided to stay and eat but after i got my order exactly 1 hour later i placed my order at 1:05pm and got it at 2:05pm. That is freaking absurd. You guys need to either hire more people to work or just tell customers the truth that it will be over an hour for a bhel puri. God forbid if i ordered a sandwich i wonder how many hours that would have taken. But definitely a let down and i doubt i will give this place another chance. Also the lady Pavini has a attitude problem when she gets busy she walks away as ur speaking to her so thanks but definitely ill take my money elsewhere.
Got a couple pastrys and they tasted great. Havent been here in like 5 years but I enjoyed it.
Chicken biryani was very tasty but less salt and they have bakery like in india .they have samosa and egg puff loved it
Very bad take out service. Made me wait for a very long time. Timely service is very important.
Could pay more attention to take out orders. Missed packing some items on a couple of orders.
There’s a difference between chicken lollipop and chicken drumsticks …….
The food was average but the service was so bad. I had high expectations for this place as it’s very heard of but my expectations were crushed. Our order wasn’t complete at all and they took 1 hour to provide us with our food. I think they should hire more people or at least call out the order numbers so people could come and take the order instead of keeping everything inside. But nonetheless, Our servers were African American gentleman and a pretty young lady who were good at their jobs but the service was very slow
Cakes are good here
Food wise their are amazing. Irrespective of wjat you order 8 out of 10 times the food is consistently tastier but the service amd waiting time is not appreciable. Their is great amout of time you need to wait even after the scheduled pick up time.Guthivankaya pulav and Fried egg pulav are always delicious.
They are cheating with the weight, they packed venela cookies (biscuits) with half LB, they packed with 9 peice but actually it should be 11 peices, i got doubt ask them to check the weight, upon checking its came with the 11 peices they packed with less peices and selling them. pls be aware before purchase. Thanks
I ordered for a veg manchurian and a baby corn manchurian for take out but after reaching home found that they instead gave me 2 gobi manchurians. Not only did they not give me what I ordered, their gobi manchurian was pathetic. Never going to this place again. CHEATS!!!
Pastries are good, biryanis give heartburn.... too spicy!
Great cakes. Friendly staff
Chicken biryani which came with family pack tasted like white rice with added colors and salt. Also, rice was so dry without any flavors. We also ordered naan, gobi manchurian, Chicken 65, chicken tikka masala. Gobi manchurian was good, chicken 65 and curry was below average. All naan went to trash as it was a so dry and hard to eat. our order cost was 105$ but the food is not worth eating even if given free. Now my stomach is upset. Dont waste your money here when there are so many restaurants around. :(
Experience in Hot Breads was great for me so far. I have been to Hot Breads for quite some time and have had no issues. in my case, Whichever restaurant I go, food is my number one priority second comes customer service, price, then sanitation, items on menus then comes all other little stuffs like how well is it made?, How well is it presented? and all other. Starting with the food, I had a pleasant experience in Hotbreads. Food was as expected. Matter of fact, none of my orders were or have been out of their standard in Hotbreads. Customer service was okay. Price is reasonable and was presented on the menu. All the items that was shown in the menu was available unlike some pesky restaurants. Food was prepared well on time. If you want to start with great food then you shouldnt miss samosa. Chat were okay. My overall experience was great.
One of the best places to get an eggless cake in DFW area. The cakes are delicious.
Good food but service needs to improve in taking orders and serving
Ordered food. Biryani and chapathi. Waiting from 49 minutes. Guess what I am still waiting. I will not come come here again.
