Amazing Indian food! I had the malai kofta which is always my favorite and it was fantastic. The spice level was just right although I might go up to hot next time. We had a variety of dishes between our whole group and all of them were very flavorful! Cant wait to go back.

Loved their food and pricing. We had mutton taas, fried fish, chichen momo and chhang. Great ambiance and service.

We really like the service. This is a small place with good Nepalese cousin. Our service was faster and food was tasty. The food was too spicy though.

I am a vegetarian and ordered veg thali, chilly veg momos and paneer chilly. Their chilly means dumping red color in food. Not appealing at all. The thali was interesting. Steamed momos may have been better choice than chilly momos.

Awesome is the only word for this restaurant .. live live dining here thought we have to travel almost 1 hr or so ..all their dishes are yummy and love the paneer tikka

Wow. Ive eaten at a lot of Indian places and this was easily the best Biryani Ive ever eaten. The presentation was top notch, the subtle flavors were exciting, and the atmosphere was so relaxing! Highly recommended!

When I went first time i had asked them for spicy biryani but they put lot of green chillies in it to make it spicy🥵 - I didnt like that at all. When I went second time, I kinda ordered Nepali and Himalayan dishes and they were fantastic. Loved the Momos, chicken lollipop🍗 and veg Thali. They sometime forgets items in your order so make sure you get everything. Advice - just get Nepali/himalayan food, they are good at it.

Food was good and met our expectations! Had to wait a little while since their normal wait time for the food to be served is approximately 15-30 minutes. Atmosphere was alright and the staffs were friendly. Good selection of Nepalese food.

I got the chicken tikka and i can promise this is likely the best one out there. It’s pure homemade foods that make you miss Nepal. I’m not even from Nepal but I can feel the soul baked right into my jasmine rice. I can’t say enough good words about the service. Everyone is also super nice and I never have to wait to get my Togo order or to be seated.

Good food. Ambience not that great. Definitely try the Wai Wai Sadeko. Staff was courteous and our orders were ready in minutes.

Have been going there for dine in for years , no issues ! For togo, the order I was picking up, they gave a part of it to someone else mistakenly and have the other person bring the order back and handed me the SAMMME box after waiting for 20+ mins.

Best curry I can find in the area. This week I ordered from another place because it seemed like Everest was closed on the delivery platforms. Huge mistake! The food was very bland. I know better and will wait for Everest. The portions are huge, the food is always hot and fresh. The curry is flavorful and spicy. Definitely my favorite :)

I guess this is the only place serving nepali cuisine in dallas. The food is extremely good, not too spicy and very flavorful. There is limited seating so if you arrive in allege groups of 8-10, you might have to be very close to each other. The service is good and friendly and very prompt. The food is their main selling point and its amazing. Try their chicken momos and nepali thali. They serve good food at reasonable prices. Indian comfort food! Yummy..

Its just OK. The food quality is questionable. I chewed plastic fiber in thier pakauda sauce. Thali is disappointing. Momo is also just ok. Things i liked from this place were the taas mixed chowmien and goat head fry. But overall ambience and experience is disappointing. Lastly, the floors are really slippery.

The taste is not like used to be. For the prices , it was a horrible buff choila. Everest is not Everest anymore. First of all all Nepalese restaurant are in the same boat here, no one can provide consistency in the taste.

First time here and was truly amazed! Its a must have experience.

It looks like a hole in the wall, but the food is delicious. We didnt realize that naan or rice comes with every entree, so we made a strategic error by ordering the bread sampler. The onion stuffed naan was great though. Well worth the drive, but not necessarily a romantic date spot. Its great for family and friends if you want a casual vibe and authentic Indian/Himalayan food.

I used to like the food at Everest. But last time when i went to eat thali (rice chicken and vegetable), all the stuffs that was brought was stale and does not look fresh. Please see the attached pictures. Normally when i used to go i liked the food but since last time Me and my friend were given stale food jncluding rice chicken vegetable, I was shocked. The pot in which it was brought was seem it was microwaved. Although i did not complain as complaining wont be much help. I mean even in USA the restaurant like are simple misusing the food guidelines and not giving quality food instead taking good price for the food. Please stop doing this and there are lot of other nepali restaurant who provide much better food than yours. Previously one my friend faced similar issue when he was given chicken tikka instead of paneer tika masala and he is vegeterian. I wish i could complain where the required action would have been taken but no use.I have reduced the rating from 4 to 1 . I wish i could have given more less than that.

Their food is the best. Ive been going to this place for years and me and all my friends love it. I recommend getting any of their thalis and the chilli momos. Although this is my favorite place I was disappointed last time I went. No employees were wearing masks and someone who worked there was sleeping in a booth! We asked for a 10 on their spiciness level but the waiter kept asking if we were sure and tried to explain it... but for some reason she thought we couldnt handle it and made it with barely any spice like a 3/10. We also asked if we could get garlic naan in the thali rather than normal naan and said we were willing to pay more... however, they said they couldnt accommodate that request. I hope to see some changes made with customer service and government mandated guidelines.

The food smelled great from the door. Will never know if it tasted good, because they refused to allow one of my partys medically required service animal.We asked to speak to the manager, as this is illegal. The host left and came back saying that the MEDICALLY REQUIRED SERVICE ANIMAL was not allowed inside.

I am so fortunate to get served at this local Restaurant. It was mainly designed for Indian and Nepali people but is relevant to all Americans as well. Pork Sekuwa is better than all other nepali and Indian restaurants.

I love the look and feel inside this place. The decor is nice and has the home-y feel to it. Food wise, Im not a big fan. Their Thalis arent tasty. It seems like they add too much spiciness to hide the bland taste. I ordered a mutton thali and most of the meat in it was just skin. There was barely any edible stuff to it and yet they charge you extra just because its goat meat. I was pretty disappointed the last time I was here (about 2 weeks ago). I doubt Ill be going back here again.

Ordered a To go Order and was told to come in 25 minutes. Even arriving after 25 minutes, had to wait for 20 mins still the order was not ready and the servers there were like busy on other things except me and I literally waited there for 25 minutes and got out without taking my order. Worst service and customer care I have had ever in my entire life. Will not go again and will not suggest others to go too their.

Everest is great. You get quite a bit, so either order light, or plan to have leftovers for lunch the next day... or what the heck... breakfast. We had Chicken Korma and Lamb Vindaloo. If you order it spicy, it will be. Our starter was Goat Dumplings, fried. We will be back for sure.

My son visited Nepal exactly 1 year ago. He loved the food there, among so many other aspects of the country. He came to visit me from rural Texas, so we celebrated here. He spent the entire meal with a grin and a far off glance. This place, he said, is so authentic. The flavors brought him back to the experience of a lifetime. Thank You!

Amazing food, great service, really great prices. I had the chili gosh and my friend had the Rogan Josh. Both delicious and came with sides of naan. We cleaned our plates and ordered dessert.

Food here never disappoints. Must try Vegetarian thali if you are too hungry! Quantity and Quality of food is amazing. I have tried thali and momos here. Both of them tastes good. Based on that assuming other dishes are good too! I would surely recommend this place if you are craving for homemade food!

Got some takeouts here. First time trying Himalayan food, and their tikka masala and noodles here are amazing. Ordered the bread basket and my God their naan breads were humongous! I love the ambience of the place too its pretty cozy. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to go eat.I enjoyed my time at this restaurant.It was my first time at this place and the second time in my life eating indian food which turned out to be a fantastic choice.The food was so flavorful and the meats so tasty.I had piriyani with lamb and chicken curry.Everything delicious,well sized portions.The servers were incredibly polite,nice and respectful with a positive attitude.I would not hesitate to come to this restaurant again.

Charging gratuity of 15% which is $10 every bill. When asked they said its a service charge. which is not right thing to do and they didnt inform about it before charging. And there is no manager in the hotel and the owner dont pick up the phone through the business card they provided. Please dont go here.

Himalayan Everest. The name is the fame of Nepalese people. The restaurant has maintained its name. Its a small restaurant with servers with big hearts. Staffs are really welcoming, Food is delicious .If you want to dine with your friends or family, it has perfect environment. Love the place and I totally recommend it.

Sep 10, 2020 - Ordered veg jhol momos, the achar was so bad already that we couldnt even eat. Alongside, we ordered alu dum which was re-cooked. Pretty much everything looked like it has been made a week ago. I wish I didnt waste my money. Hari om tat sat 🙏
