One of the oldest establishment in Ipoh that has maintained its standard and quality of food. The steam fish (tiger grouper 1.2kg) was prepared to perfection complimented with good fragrant soya sauce. This restaurant is also known for its roast meats, especially the barbecue pork (char siew), which was already sold out during our visit.

Food is decent. Casual dining at this restaurant is always a good idea.

Taste not as good as before.. Ordered salted egg ladyfinger totally tasteless.. Hotpot Salted fish belly pork taste not strong enough.. The signature tafu with winmelon cutted in half too raw with the green taste

Had several meals at overseas restaurant in the past week. Some days the food is very good. Other days the same dish not so good. The rating for the dinner tonight is not so good. The pork belly with salted fish was too salty. The tofu was fine. The stewed chicken was a little bland. The ladies fingers was ok but we previously had the same dish where the dried shrimp was nice and crispy. The vegetable in soup was good.

All dishes are delicious, but a bit too pricey, we order normal meal of six dishes already cost RM600.

I have been patronizing this establishment for 30 years but I must say, quality of food has decrease in recent years. Price has went up but at the current standard, the price does not justify the quality. Hopefully with the new management, the quality will return to its heyday, soon.

Probably the oldest best authentic chinese restaurant in KL. Has private dining rooms for groups on 4 levels. Fresh live fish/seafood can be choosen from tanks, roasted meat (roast Duck, pork) is famous here. Some dishes needs to be ordered in advance. This place is not for people who dont know how to properly order Chinese food because most of it is not on their extensive menu. Really should go with somebody in the know to realize the potential of this place

The service was atrocious. All the waiters were rude, complacent, generally unenthusiastic and half-hearted. It was the worst Chinese New Year dinner experience ever. Definitely never returning.

Its special and only available here.Service was prompt and waitresses are attentive. Prices are a bit on the higher end but you get the quality you pay for.

The dishes r always tasty. The culinary standard is always well kept. In term of palatability this restaurant seldom disappointed its customers, but the price is rather dear to the people in Ipoh.

Excellent Cantonese cooking. Advance booking required for exotic dishes. Price is on the high side. Generally busy & very noisy. Private rooms are burdened by the noise from the public area.

I always like the food whenever I go Ipoh with my colleagues. The char siew and roasted pork are my favourite order. A bit pricey but worth it.

Bad service.. I made a reservation and it was clearly listed on their log book. No table available .. Although i arrived on time. Highly recommend elsewhere for the price you are paying.

Really bad service. Made a reservation two days ago and asked to book the char siew in advance. Manager told me confidently that there’s no need today. Just went there today at 7.30 pm on 9 May, the manager on duty tried to make us order without looking at the menu. We asked for the menu first and she grudgingly passed it to us without saying anything. 5 minutes later at 7.35 pm, we tried to order and was told that they were out of char siew. She then sarcastically said that’s because we didn’t order when she came to us the first time. I pointed out that I tried to order two days ago. She insisted she was right so too bad for us. Really terrible service. If they really ran out of char siew, why didn’t they let me reserve two days ago? If they didn’t run out of char siew, then she was lying and trying to prove a point. Either way it’s poor, unprofessional service.Do not go to this place. Ridiculously bad service where the wait staff behaved in an entitled manner and don’t treat you like you are human.
