It is said that this is temple of ईश्ट देव of legendary Alha and Udal. But it is in very bad condition. Locality is very dirty.

The statue of Mania Devi is kept in the Mania Devi temple. This goddess is revered as a protector of the Chandel dynasty. The temple is located on the banks of the Madan Sagar Lake near the pilgrimage site of Pir Mubarak Shah. The specialty of this temple is its 18 feet high and 1.75 feet wide pillar made of granite.
