Doctor Malpani is very good. But the staff is really unprofessional. I took a half day at work and traveled from Bangalore just to be on time for my appointment at 7pm. One day before the staff called me to inform if it is possible for me to come at 4pm as the doctor needs to leave early. I said thats not possible since I will be in flight and the earliest that I can make it is at 6pm directly from the airport. The staff said that they will confirm with the doctor and get back to me. Next day ( appointment day) since the morning, I was calling the doctor’s office. The staff kept telling me that they will get back to me. I made my 5th call from the airport asking if I should come, but got the same answer. Also called at 6:30 pm, but got the same answer. I called at the appointment time 7pm to confirm if the doctor will be there so that I can come, but no one picked the call. At 8pm they called me saying that you didn’t come, doctor is leaving. When I asked the reason why they did this, the female receptionist hung up the phone ( so basically she expects you to do everything her way, and doesn’t care about the patient’s time and priority). I took half day, flew early for no reason. Uncorteous and disrespectful staff. Basically they have a logic that no matter what, you need to wait for 2 hours at the clinic and waste your time ( I have done that more than 4-5 times and I am tired now because I travel from Bangalore just for weekend and have to waste so much time here) . I am changing my doctor now.
