Dr. Anand Gupta is an exceptional Knee Surgeon.I sustained serious injury to my Right knee joint resulting into knee dislocation with Vascular insult. There was no blood supply to my leg blow the knee joint at the time of admission in the hospital. My knee joint was looking distorted and was extremely painful. It was almost midnight when I reached Bombay Hospital.I was informed that , if the Blood supply to my leg is not restored within 6 hours of injury, then my leg needs to be amputated from above the Knee joint and Even if my leg survives , my knee will remain stiff as all the Ligaments were broken.Just the idea of Amputation made me so depressed that all bad thoughts started coming to my mind .......At this difficult time Dr. Anand Guptas assurance gave me the light of hope.Dr. Anand Gupta along with the Plastic surgeon did the surgery to restore the blood supply of my leg. It has now been over a year since Mummy got operated for her knee replacement surgery. I still remember the day when I was in Indore spending my week long break with Mummy and Papa. She was 62 yr old at that time and was suffering from Avascular Necrosis of both the Hip joints. Extremely thankful to Dr. Anand Gupta for the successful multiligament surgery of my close friend. When I consulted him few years back at Bombay Hospital, I had almost stopped walking and became wheel chair bound due to badly deformed Knee joints with advanced arthritis. Dr. Gupta did the Knee replacement surgery of my both knees about three months ago. He is an outstanding surgeon, extremely polite and approachable all the time.I came to know about him around a couple of years ago when I consulted him regarding swelling in both my knee joints. He explained me everything in details in connection to my disease. He told me that you will need a knee replacement surgery to permanently get rid off my problems.
