Visiting this place since 1998... it has changed a lot since then, but still a beautiful place..right now its quite lush green

Nice Place to live a day with Neture. Named a sanctuary but didnt found an animal or bird. The battery vehicle for safari visit is out of service. Even the staff are so rude ,cant behaved in gently.

Situated on hill top is the Hunting Lodge of the erstwhile Rulers of Indore, The Holkars. The bill has been converted into a wild life reserve. People going with expectations of seeing wild life will be disappointed as there are practically no animals on the hill.The Trek to the top is worthwhile (an hours walk). The lodge situated at the top has been converted into a museum of the rulers. View from the Top is good.Bullet points below may be of help1. Private vehicles not allowed on the hill.2. Ticket price is 20/- per person and 450 for a two way drive in a Gypsy that seats 6 person.3. The gypsy will wait half an hour on top.4. Cafeteria is only at the base near parking.5. Paved path, ok during rains.6. Down trek time 30 mins.Overall a nice weekend morning trek…

2.5 km hike but at last the view is just awesome

When you are going to enter, you have adventure mood but in the mid (if you are on foots) you get the reality. NO WILDLIFE just hilly veiw . You will think that you will get something interesting in top but absolutely nothing just fresh air ( you will feel its paid by your energy ) . Go if you want to see this view.

Good place to hangout with Friends. There is hiking for about 2.5-3 kilometres. We should keep a steel water bottle with us , because there is no place to get water to drink in whole path (area) and the restaurant there is too costly. There is no plastic allowed. And also we cant take food with us. So be ready for that. Rainy season is best to hangout here. Very good place.

Good place for tracking. Lots of people visit at morning for exercise purpose. One gets a good view of surrounding places as the hill is quite high and there is a museam too at the top. But there I havent seen any animals as such mentioned on the hill boards thereEntry fees 10rsParking 5rs

Natural beauty in the middle of the city. Mountains, hills red fort at the top of the mountain. Awesome scenes everywhere. Trees, plants and the path you cover is really awesome. Amazing experience. Everyone should go at least once, because you will definitely go there again.

Old Shikargah of the Holkars era, on top a hilltop. Accessible by road (only the forest jeep can take people till the top for a charge, total trekking distance by the road is 5 km. The steeper shortcut distance to and fro is 3 km. Lovely spot in the monsoons, gets surrounded by clouds.Museum charging fee of Rs. 10/- per person has been created in the Shikargah. Its worth a visit.

It is quite good for hiking with yours groups but only in the monsoon and winter season. The worst thing about the sanctuary is cameras are banned here. You cant capture the nature beauty in your camera. Every wildlife sanctuary and national park allows you to take camera with you but here you cant take. It is very disappointing 😒

Awesome place to visit, but my suggestion is to visit the site in rainy season as the atmosphere is very pleasent at that time, and you can go there through khandwa road.The oldest sanctuary of Madhya Pradesh, the Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary packs a treat for wildlife and avifauna enthusiasts alike. The River Narmada, which is 150 million years older than River Ganga, graces the sanctuary with its presence. Home to deer, wild hare, tigers and an umpteen variety of birds, this sanctuary is nothing short of paradise.And its my suggestion that you can visit this place with both along with your friends and family

A walk through the clouds..literally!.. the 2.5 km walk to the highest point at Ralamandal was invigorating. The weather was perfect; the cloud cover and the gentle breeze made the trek enjoyable. The foliage cover boasting their green palate and small rivulets randomly trickling were an eye candy. The mild sprays of rain were refreshing and boosted me walk further. Surrounded by serenity and natural beauty, Ralamadal is a perfect weekend getaway destination.

Its good and very good nature

It is place for hiking and tracking mainly because no one found ever any animals here. Entry fees is 20rs and parking fee around 10/- . Its most of like a forest. Peak season to visit here is rainy season at that its looking like full of greenery. At the top 1 shop is available for tea, snakes items. The scenario from the top was too good. You can see around whole Indore. Guard were there. Some seats are also made in way for resting.

Nothing much except for great view of indore city from a hilltop. It has a closing time of 4 or 5 pm. Hill climbing involved, so better go with shoes on. Cost place where youngsters from colleges will be found while climbing the hill.

For nature lovers this place is like heaven in rainy season.Its good for trekking but keep your water bottle with you always. You will got water at the top of the hill but before reached top you can easily exhausted.Keep your body hydrated and enjoy the hike to ralamandal hills.

Worst place of indore...Just forest . . No facility, no cooperation with staff. . You have to walk around 3kmNo special animals . . Zoo is better than this.

For hiking with friends its a beautiful place, but only in monsoon season this mountain will be full of greeneries. There are sitting chair arrangements at sides of the way. its been told by guards that cheetah, leopard and other animals are here but i didnt see any of these, if you want, you can visit here once.
