Best trekking place to visit in monsoon season. The place is so peaceful. Lots of monkeys are there. They will not harm you. There are two waterfall also. 1 waterfall is inside the temple. You can visit that. Much greenery is there. It is 20 km far from INDORE. MUST VISIT ❤️❤️💐💐💗

Awesome place in rainy season!Very peaceful environment there and less crowded area for people looking for some stress free spot and space from the bhasad* of daily life.😝Just sit on the laps of mother nature as I did (pics attached) and get lost in space 😋Please dont forget to bring a nice camera or a phone with nice camera quality as you wont be able to stop yourself clicking.10/- entry fee (for bikers). Visited the Jungle below the fort. Do not go alone be in a group of 4-5 and have someone who has experience with forest hiking.Walk through the stairs and youre in the wilderness. No mobile signal but great place for bird watching.

Tbh ,I liked it. After being to two most famous temple , one of ujjain mahakaleshwar mandir and other om kaleshwar mandir(most populous places)... Being to such spot where everything is calm and serenic , with almost nil people there, I loved this fort.See , there is nothing much too see as fort, its very old, covered in grasses. But , looking downward from the top, is just amazing ❤️😍do visit it, if you are going to visit om kaleshwar mandir .. ❤️

Overall experience was great just a bit of safety issues if you are not going with your family not at all safe for only girls gang .so be care ful if your going alone or with your male frndz

This is the amazing place to be visited in rainy season. There is not any Fort but the place is awesome with its environment and greenery. Also there is more than one waterfalls which makes it more attractive. This place is also amazing for photoshoot. This place is not at all safe but it is really nice place. Must visit it once.

There is nothing like fort here, if I have to give ratings on the basis of fort then it does not deserve even a single star but due to the environment and the location it becomes a really nice place , this fort is around 20km always Indore on the Kandwa road. There is a beautiful view around here which gives u a peace of mind and a chance to come closer to the nature. I will not recommend this place for the couples as this place is located is a forest type location and u can rarely find finds any one,due to which the unwanted peoples are find here. You can find them drinking smoking and having drugs. But there is an old temple of Shiva which is located 200-300 meters from this fort, which is as safe and u will be surprised to see the beauty here, it is famous by the name of prachin shiv Mandir. Is it said Shiv is the base of this mountain and whole mountain is standing just because of Shiv.

It is the best place for tracking and filling nature from very close.

Nice place. A good combination for history and religious lovers. A old small ancient fort with an ancient lord Shivas cave.

Visit the place for the love of nature, as for the architecture lovers, youll be disappointed. The place becomes a lush green, feast to the eyes in the monsoon. Hence suggested to visit during July to mid September. The gathering of clouds can also be observed in case of raining. Located at the edge of the malwa plateau hills, the place is surrounded by valleys from 3 sides.The fort is not much but a square block of stoned walls, very much distorted. One more thing to remember, be careful where you go, the place is surrounded by blind trenches.

One such historical place in the outskirt of Indore City is the Kajligarh Fort, located about 20 km away from Indore City on Khanwa Road Highway . The fort is nestled on a hill and surrounded by vallies having some waterfalls. it is good choice for the bird watcher also. Valley is full of wildlives.Best season to visit is rainy but take care. Dont go on the edge of valley for selfies. Dont throw any garbage like chocolate namkeen biscuit wrapper or plastic bottles or plastic bags. Plz keep clean.

Amazing Place

Good place as a picnic spot especially in rainy season, going in summers would not be a good idea. Kids will especially enjoy the place but need to take care of kids because there are no fencings or wall to isolate the ditch. It is 28 kms from Indore and can easily be accessed by car or SUVs.

There is nothing impressive, only building that has been partly destroyed. In short khandar. Also there is entry fees of ₹30 for car. For a run of 4km road is also not good. I went and like why I am here complete waste of money, time and most costly petrol

It is a good place but only for rainy season. In other season nothing is there but the Mahadev temple below the fort is very nice which we can visit in any season but the main experience of the place we will get only in rainy season.
