Poor condition. IMC should use this precious space for multi level parking and other important buildings. Preserve the building just for symbolic purpose if needed. As such there is no such a great importance of this building.

Mahatma Gandhi Hall is one of the landmark buildings of Indore. It was built in the year 1904 and was named the King Edward Hall. After India gained independence, this grand hall was renamed as Mahatma Gandhi Hall in 1948. The hall, designed in Indo-Gothic architectural style by Charles Frederick Stevens of Bombay, is an architectural wonder. It is also known as the town hall. The hall holds major attraction for the tourists in the form of a clock tower. This four-faced tower is built in the centre of the building and has a dome covering it. The hall is also known as the clock tower or Ghanta Ghar among the locals. The terraced roof, ornamental moldings, high ceilings, furnished rooms, minarets all work together to give the place a grand look. The spacious hall can easily accommodate 2000 people. The hall houses a children’s park and a library.

The Town Hall or Mahatma Gandhi Hall is one of the prettiest buildings in Indore city. Built in 1904, it was originally named King Edward Hall. In 1948, it was renamed Mahatma Gandhi Hall. It has a remarkable Indo-Gothic structure and is made in Seoni stone. Its splendid domes and steeples are the landmark of Indore city. It has a clock tower in front and is popularly known as Ghanta Ghar. The central hall can accommodate 2000 people at a time and is the venue of book, painting exhibitions and fairs throughout the year. The building also has a library, childrens park and a temple. I just want to suggest all people to go there and see the beauty of the Gandhi Hall❤️ Highly Recommend ❤️

Made of Seoni, red stones, and white marble, Gandhi Hall is one of the best places to visit in Indore. It was established in memory of Mahatma Gandhi and is renowned for its Indo-Gothic architecture and impressive design. The hall can accommodate up to two thousand people, and it is the major venue for various cultural and art exhibitions. Earlier it was named King Edward Hall and was inaugurated by George V in 1905. Bigger events, like book exhibitions, handicrafts, and Mango fairs, are also organized here, making it the best places to visit in Indore.

On gandhi hall now a days the some construction is going on so it is not that good idea to spend your weekend there, apart from that i liked this place a lot because of the peace and the very old constructed main building. It is situated near Regal Square and the distance from Rajwada is approx 1.7km.

It is nice but not well maintained . It is made of white marble and red stones. I came here with my familyMahatma Gandhi Town Hall is centrally located near the Indore railway station and is usually used for cultural gathering, exhibitions etcWell it is appalling to see a heritage building so ill-maintained .. this should have been restored to its old glory. These days its used to conduct random exhibitions. The adjoining park is also poorly maintainedOne of the oldest Town-halls in the country, but very poorly maintained. Is centrally located near the Indore railway station and is usually used for cultural gathering, art & craft exhibitions etc. Was called as the King Edward hall during the British era but got renamed post independence. Symbolic of most town-halls, this one too has a clock tower with a minaret and dome. If well maintained, this has the potential to attract tourists. This town hall is built with local white and red stones in the Indo Gothic Style. It has a clock tower, minarets and domes. The Gandhi Hall was originally known as King Edward Hall, but was renamed in 1948, after the death of Mahatma Gandhi by the Holkar Maharajas. it was inaugurated by Prince of Wales, George V in 1905 and remains the towns main place for art and cultural exhibitionsIts grounds host many local traditional and seasonal festivals and inside there are murals showing historic events

Not much to see here, just a basic hall with a balcony, which was made to honour the viceroys visit to Indore. Previously named as King Edward hall. Also known as town hall. The first building of Indore to have a clock tower having clocks the four sides, which mostly remains off due to skilled maintenance required. The building built in Anglo Persian style is what makes it special. Renovation is under progress from 4-5 years and is planned to propose a destination wedding spot for future.
