I didnt know that this is called Hotel Taj. Always knew as Gents hostel canteen since the last 17 years. When we were in undergraduate, that is before it has been renovated/repaired, we used to eat cooked maggi, wai wai, samosa, laal chai and you can even buy cigarettes, gutkhas and all those things. I really missed those times and the one who run this canteen at present came around 2010 after repair. It has become cleaner and a bit classy. I still remember one evening Manipuri actress Bala came for shooting one scene in this canteen. She was quite young and so charming
