Brought deep dryer online showing two available, and with free delivery, took 3 days for delivery.Arrived in van containing no box, ask driver why wasn’t in box said how he received it.Was also slightly damage inside with scratches.It would had been quicker and see what you were buying if I went to the store directly.Also no change in price (was obviously a display model).At least give people a choice if they want to buy a display model with no box

Purchased American fridge, received a call a few days later on answer phone, which did not leave contact name or number. Phoned back and spoke to someone in customer services who was unable to put me through to correct dept but assured me they would ring back on my mobile number. Did not receive a call. Further two emails sent to find out when deliver would take place, no response. Eventually received a call from a family member who’s lives at a different address to say when delivery would take place. So basically communication between Powerhouse and the customer was non existent , and communication between Powerhouse and the delivery company was also lacking. Not a good experience at all.But a great fridge was delivered.

Ordered a fridge freezer online from the Powerhouse and was a bit disappointed when I received an email to tell me that there had been an error with the website and they no longer had the product in stock. The person I dealt with (Paul) was incredibly prompt at responding, courteous and professional. He offered me a discount on an alternative model of my choosing and pushed the delivery date forward for me upon request. Technical issues happen to every business and is no fault of the staff, and honestly the Powerhouse couldnt have handled it better. Very impressed with the service and a big thank you to Paul.

I took my non-working Touchmate laptop (purchased abroad) to Powerhouse. On taking it out of the bag at the customer service desk, I found that the keyboard had distorted as the battery had swelled up. Customer Services said the IT repair dept could do nothing with it and advised me to take the laptop to the recycling centre immediately. It was closed but later that day I came across Tech Supplies in Sand Street who agreed to look at it. They unscrewed the back, removed the faulty battery and handed the laptop back to me usable. I have been using it since. As it has no battery, it just needs to be plugged in all the time, but it works fine.Update: since posting this review a few weeks ago, I have been back to Powerhouse to buy other things and had a positive experience, hence the revised rating to 3 stars.

Powerhouse Jersey have provided an amazing customer service experience for us during covid 19. The delivery is quick and a special mention to Paul Pachnicki who has been so helpful but also proactive which is rare and appreciated. Well done Powerhouse Jersey and Paul!

Great store with very professional and helpful staff. Please can you guys get more android phones. I find myself looking to buy online and would rather buy local if possible. Oneplus, Oppo, xiaomi, Vivo, redmagic to mention a few, you guys just seem to have iPhone, haiwei and Samsung like everywhere in Jersey.

I hope I am wrong, but I suspect that The Powerhouse attempted to scam me today. I took my laptop in as it was only charging intermittently. I hoped that it was just a faulty charger, rather than a potentially more expensive issue with the laptop itself.The staff member at service desk asked me if I had already tried another charger and, when I said no, she disappeared into the back, out of sight with my charger. She returned about 10 minutes later to say that she had tried another charger and it hadnt worked. I found it strange that she couldnt have checked this where I could see what was happening and that it had taken her so long to do something so simple. She said that there would be a £20 fee to look at the laptop, which could just be to be told there was nothing they could do, so I decided against this. However, later I was able to get a new charger elsewhere and found that it worked fine. There was nothing wrong with the laptop and I discovered a small split on my charger connection, which was the cause of the problem.Possibly it was a genuine error, but the fact that Powerhouse staff member disappeared with my laptop only to reappear effectively saying that my laptop was faulty when there was nothing wrong with it, does seem very suspicious.

It was ok

Bought an LG smart tv a month ago and all went well. The tv was delivered and set up for free. I have also bought a MacBook Pro and the sales person was knowledgeable and helpful. Only downside is; dont try to phone the electrical dept as you will not get an answer. the phone just keeps on ringing. I have phoned on many occasions and never got a reply.there is no answerphone to leave a message for them to phone you back. this is very poor service. having said that the staff are friendly and helpful if you go in person. Prices are a bit high though.

Very pleasant and helpful ladies called Christine and Lynn on electrical and kitchen wares , its refreshing to be served by knowledgeable staff who give the extra help and advice on different products . On the television section an exceptional young man , Nuno greeted me with a smile and a pleasant helpful manner which is refreshing for a younger staff member I am certain he will be an asset to the present sales team including Jamie who I found was knowledgeable on the technology of an item that I asked about, also a new trainee in the TV department Andre who was very helpful and eager to assist in an enquiry , another new trainee John with a great smile you cannot miss him he is about 6ft tall a good looker ! Ask him about the electric bikes and the electric scooters ( which only cost around 20p a battery charge and will run about 24 kilometres , its so nice to have service from pleasant people. You must pop in for a browse and there is a cafe almost at the end in case you get hunger pains !

Big thumb up for Bob at Power House! Yesterday I bought a laptop there. According to the specification on the display board it was supposed to have 32G hard drive capacity, just big enough for me. At home, when I went through the signing up and setting up process it turned out it has only 22G space. I was disappointed and today I went back to the shop to see what I could do with it. I got to a deal with Bob, the supervisor, so I had discount price on the laptop and a protective bag because of the lost 10G (one third of the storage capacity of this gadget). Be aware of the fact that even the manufacturer indicated 32G space in this laptop it has got 10G less! So THX Bob again, now I feel I got a fair deal!

The lack of a cooling pad for a laptop is a huge minus this is the store, then there is a lot to choose when it comes to electronics.
