In Kathmandu, in a valley at the base of Nagarjuna mountain, Shamar Rinpoche is developing a large monastery called Shar Minub. “Shar” means “to rise”, “Nub” means “to set”, and “Mi” means “no”. Therefore “Shar Minub” means “To rise, but not to set.”It is a large project with several phases. The first phase of the master plan is now complete with the construction of the Nera Jana Temple, named after the river where Buddha meditated for 6 years under the bodhi tree. The Nera Jana temple has the purpose of restoring the quality of the Vinaya. In this temple, there is a room for 20 monks who will stay for a 10 year mediation retreat. They will keep the entire 253 Vinaya vows of the authentic Buddhist Bhiksu. To qualify for the retreat, monks must at least 45 years old.Inside the main shrine room of the temple is a 5-foot tall white marble statue of the Buddha, depicted with his ribs showing from deprivation, in his “six years mediation” form. The statue was sculpted by a famous artist from Mumbai.

Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje as well as other guestrooms and apartments for lamas and scholars. The 14 Künzig Shamar Rinpoche founded the Sharminub Institute Project. It was his vision to open an internationally renowned institution, which offers qualified Buddhist teachings to ordained monks as well as to lay people. This will give great benefit to all sentient beings. The Sharminub Institute is located below the holy Nagarjuna mountain with a beautiful view over the Kathmandu valley. Buddha Shakyamuni himself has already been here with his students. The peace up here provides a pleasant contrast to the city’s hectic lifestyle.

This is a Tibetan style school of Lama Buddhism. It is open to the general public for 6 hours and 15 minutes a day as a peaceful and disciplined walk. That is, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.The magnificent Sharminub Gumba located in the beautiful quiet green forest at the foot of Nagarjuna Mountain; On the small hill on the left is the red Tergar Gumba, Bonpo Gumba, Norbuche Gumba; White Setegumba on Halchok Danda or Sitethumka in Halchok or Sitapaila;Somewhere in the rear lamchethumka, etc., there is a yellow-colored monastery; There is also a Jamacho Gumba at the top of the Nagarjuna mountain above this Gumbai-Gumba area. ☕जा The Jamacho Gumba at the top of this Nagarjuna mountain is visited by pilgrims on the Lhuti Purnima (Balaju Mela) in the direction of Chait from the road towards Baisadhara.Half of the Nagarjuna mountain seen in front from Ichangu Raniwan falls in Ward No. 1 of Nagarjuna Municipality while the rear half is in Dhunibeshi Municipality of Dhading. On the right-hand side of the Nagarjuna mountain is the one called Sitethumka (some say Halchok hill) and the other is the long hill called Sitaram hill behind it. Half of Sitapaila and half of Ramkot are at the top of the eastern part of Sitaram hill, Ratogumba and Setogumba at the top of the western part. Tegargumba is located above Sitethumka as much as Swayambhu Thumka.Nagarjuna is a beautiful municipality; In which the reserve `` Agravan´´ (Queen forest in front of the nearby) near Sarminub and Tritengumba is considered as the center and a natural shape in the shape of Pan (Heart) is seen. The part of Lamcho mountain with Nagarjuna palace is like the hand on one side and the thin hand on the other side is the part of Sitethumka (Halchok hill) and Lamcho Sitaram hill (Rato and Setogumba) including Swayambhu Thumka. The same agravan and sitethumka in the middle are connected by a high `न्द tyandre dhiska´´ road that rises above. The same density can be seen on the Halchowk side of Sitapaila as on the Ichangu Raniwan side. It looks inaccessible as it is blocked by the front part and the mound. The settlements inside are here; And the Utakas are the same.Nearly to the west is a large, long mountain that looks almost like Nagarjuna Mountain - `` Naikap Mountain´´ (Dahchok Hill); From the tip of which goes the boundary of Nagarjuna N.P.; And Chandragiri N.P. falls on the other side behind the same mountain. .P.S .: As you dont know, find out what is the easy way to get to and from the Ichangu Narayansthan Temple and the Ramkot gorge by going around the Agravan from the Ichangu Ranivan connecting the wards. And where is Nir?! .. .. 08.05.77 Rb🌹🎁🌹🎁🌹🎁🌹🎁🌹🎁🌹🎁🌹
