Its a go to place for vegetarian people. They have many outlets in the city and the Banjara hills shop is the flagship and the oldest. They have two floors. Ground floor has snacks, sweets and bakery goods. The first floor is the dining restaurant. They have a huge range but the service is slow. You can also get Bengali sweets but not very authentic. You can also buy a lot of ready to eat foods and ice cream.

Worst experience at Banjara hills branch, unhygienic , stored & uncooked food was served. Had very bad experience. Buffet was incomplete, items were not properly organised & few of them were missing not served on time. I being a doctor would not recommend this branch at all. We visited the restaurant with family and had a great time dining there. Bikanerwala is one of the most sought after buffet speciality vegetarian restuarants in the city. It is located in an upscale area, and though it is quite pricey, the ambience and food were great - not to forget those delicious desserts! The lighting was proper and the seating space was comfortable for the customers. The staff were polite and their service, very good.The best time to visit would be a weekday, since we went during the weekend it was a bit overcrowded. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.

Though there is a difference of taste between Delhi and Hyderabad, still I guess this is a place where lot of Delhi people would like to come back for chole bhature. Could have been much better though in terms of taste.

On the ground floor there is a Non Ac Sitout kinda restaurant which is usually used by people to have snacks and other chat kinda stuff.on the top floor there is a Ac restaurant which offers Buffet Style Sitting. You may take the dishes your self elzz ask the waiter to serve you. You can take unlimited quantity of food. Id prefer tasting each and every dish instead of eating a particular thing in large quantities. Its also kindof advantage for foodholics. Other than that you also get all kinds of dessert like ice cream kulfi milkshake etc etc. Not to forget the cost of Buffet is 650 per head.

I have been occasionally been visiting for chat but had buffet twice. The recent one was yesterday. Their chat section is good and the quality is great but I swear not to have buffet. The quality is very poor this probably is the costliest junk food. The food is salty and tasteless. They don’t serve bread unless asked as it is the only thing served hot. They rest definitely are either stale or left over dessert of previous day. So over all you can eat their chat but don’t risk eating the buffet for good of your own health, money and overall after food experience.

Prices are steep but the quantity is not up to the mark. quality and service better. do not go with the expectation that you will get value for money.

I have booked one order and was surprised to see another one packed. I am very much disappointed. I have given order to white khalkhan and packed khalkhand was of brown color with heavy sweet. I am surprised how they receive order.

Bikanervala in Banjara hills RD#1..I were staying nearby so decided to visit Bikanervala for dinner one evening. Theres a bakery at the front selling sweets & snacks, a food court at the back offering a wide range of meals and a fine dining restaurant upstairs.We took a quick look at the upstairs restaurant. It looked nice but it was almost empty so we preferred to join the crowd in the food court. You can get North & South Indian dishes including a nice selection of chaat, Chinese food, pizza and sandwiches. There are also hot drinks, ice creams and milkshakes. So theres something for everyone! There is an Parking problem ; (

I pointed out a small issue with one of their fares, they promptly removed it from the buffet and from everyones table too.One of us didnt get time to finish the meal. I had been to this restaurant for a dine in along with my family and my expectations were doomed by it’s ratio of it’s price vs quantity of an item.I would rather not exaggerate it ,but I must say that that a fried rice worth of Rs 300/- wouldn’t fill a stomach.I have the same opinion with regard to other items as well like Kadhayi Paneer,Dal Makani ,Shahi Paneer and Chilly Panner.Green Salad was worth Rs165/- which consisted of 6-7 slices each of tomato,cucumber,onion and carrot.How wonderful it would be if we go with an empty stomach and come out with an empty wallet too with a half filled stomach?I hope the management is aware of these comments and tries to improve overall.If this persists one day,this restaurant would be feeding just to flies sitting inside.
