The Fisher Building is a 30-story office building designed by Albert Kahn. It was built in 1928, constructed promarily of limestone, granite, and marble. It was designated a National Historic Landmark on June 29, 1989, has been nicknamed Detroits largest art object.[2] The building was to house the automotive company Fisher Body of the Fisher brothers (Frederick, Charles, William, Lawrence, Edward, Alfred and Howard), and is widely considered Kahns greatest achievement. The year of its construction, the Fisher building was honored by the Architectural League of New York as the years most beautiful commercial structure. The building is iconic. Its structure, its design both are worth to see. You can have a clear panoramic view from PVNR expressway but stopping cars is not allowed on it. So you can go and visit the place and have a great experience of this place. Good place for kids to spend a day out.

This humorous fish-shaped building.. unofficial Fish Building.. is a regional office for the National Fisheries Development Board located near Attapur, Hyderabad, India. According to Outlook India, the 4-story building is inspired by a “giant fish sculpture in Barcelona,” presumably the 1992 monumental sculpture “Fish,” by Frank Gehry. The building officially opened in April 2012.The four-storey building was officially opened in April 2012, and was reportedly inspired by Frank Gehrys monumental ‘Fish’ sculpture in Barcelona which was completed in 1992.The building is an example of mimetic architecture, incorporating elements of the fish form into its functionality. This includes the left pectoral fin doubling as an awning above the staircase to the entrance, and the two circular windows acting as eyes.The building is clad in stainless steel panels and, apart from the central core, is completely raised off the ground on pale blue pilotis. Blue-purple spotlights illuminate the building at night, giving the impression that the ‘giant fish’ is swimming through Hyderabad.

I feel it is one of the rarest building with this architectural beauty. Surround of this building is having greenery and this is located on the highway. One should witness this beautiful structure from P V Narasimha rao expressway.

It was a fish-shaped building and I thought it was unusual every time I passed by. Hyderabad is an IT city, but its not that much developed, so its a surprise.
