This was an amazing experience since I entered the restaurant; The staff were professionally friendly; Special thanks to Ms. Sona for her great friendliness and assistance in choosing best plates ever.Also; food presentation and taste were marvelous; the authentic instrumental music took the atmosphere to a unique journey.I would give even more than 5 stars if possible.

Kanak-The Indian specialty restaurant:Hyderabadi hona to Biryani hona! Quite literally, as this is one of the signature dishes at the Indian specialty restaurant at the Trident. The restaurant serves authentic Indian cuisine with an amalgamation of street food and Mughlai dishes. Their specialty Dilli ki chaat is a contemporary approach on famous roadside Delhi snacks which is served with Dahi Wada Ice Cream is a dish so different and popular that we ended up asking for a second serving!All thanks to Chef Vijay who took time out to explain the main ingredients of each and every dish. The Dahi ke Kebabs at the Kanak is a treat for the vegetarians as they just melt in the mouth. The experience of a fine dining with some of the most delicious Indian dishes makes Kanak a popular choice amongst the locals too for a family dinner or a friend get together. The restaurant is only functional from 7 pm to 11:30 pm.

Amazing ambience and a great host to numerous 🦟 mosquitos. With a great fine dining experience with the mosquitos, I had their preset menu. Appreciate the hospitality and quick 2 hour service schedule.

We have ordered began with romali roti and mutton biryani. It was too tasty. Quality and quantity also good enough no doubt about it. Service was up to the mark. There so helpful and friendly nature. Ambience also good. There is live music also but it was related to old classic music.

When I visited it was closed.. so do check before going there.. there is another restaurant in hotel trident named amara.. ambience is nice but they dont serve much variety and its a bit costly..

The restaurant is beautiful. Entering trident is an experience in itself! The food is good on palette and tasty as well. The service is just terrific.

Very tasty dishes with interpretation of the chef. I liked the fish tikka with amazing spices that gives you tastes that you can just love. the service is superb and always trying to make you fill the best you can be.

Been here couple of times for team dinner , in comparison of other hotels Trident Kanak food and service is always perfect . The service is always quick and active also the Hyderabad food like Pathar kebab always good choice highly recommended . Nice seafood display option like live crab and lobster must try. Must visit .

One of the best Indian restaurant in hydrabad. Food was very tasty, Quality of food is very good and staff is very nice.

Great food but sluggish service...I had to wait too long to be served. i had to remind the servers multiple times about the order.... Despite giving clear instructions on food allergies and preferences, the servers were constantly offering non veg starters to vegetarians, offering fish to people with allergies etc

Just been here a couple of times.. Food is extremely delicious.. I was invited by my client who stays there during his India Visits.. My client is an Australian and has travelled to so many countries.. He said this - Easily my favourite restaurant in the entire world, Kanak is the reason why I always stay at Trident though Westin is closer to office...Definitely the taste of the food here is masterclass.. .If youve the tongue for finesse, nuance and perfection in cooking, this is the place for you.. It of course comes with a price!

I was served by Kiran mostly and hes a really polite person and can go an extra mile to make your dine pleasant!

Indian cuisine... Very well laid out with live counters.... They have alcarte and 2 set menus to be pampered from.... Wide range of alcoholic drinks...also have two small private dining areas... Decor is welcoming and what more than some great service... Prakash, Sona and others will take care of you.... Chef Adit (excuse if I spelled it wrong) will greet you to ensure you have a great time.... A bit expensive though but its Trident and u cant ask more...

Came here with super high expectations for the kashmiri food frstival. 1st.. have to wait for 45 minutes for the appetizer.. then the food. It was quite blank. Couple of items in thr menu were good but the overall experience was pathetic. Would never recommended the place for a dinner.

When I came here there was a guest chef serving traditional northern cuisine. Even if the food wasnt the most beautifully presented, it was still quite good. Staff was friendly and attentive, even if a little confusing at times.

Very nice Indian cuisine restaurant situated in Hotel Trident. The service is impeccable and attention to detail is excellent. Quality of food is also very good. The variety for vegetarians is also great. Their black dal is a must try and so is the Chole Bhature. The quantity of food served in most dishes is adequate for sharing between 2-3 people. They have a good beverage selection also. Prices are high like any star hotel.

Food is really bad at this place....lot of importance is given to Ambience and not food. Also the AC vents leak water

A place were you get quality food and great ambience , you will not find the dishes served here outside easily, the wait time for the food is little high here but it will be worth the wait, if you are a non vegitarian then its a good place , you dont find amazing veg food here

Kanak, when opened had some really nice food, over the years, i found the food to lose its shine. Some of the promotions have not been up to the mark. I used to love their dal kanak but even that has fadad.I prefer tuscany to kanak at Trident

Among the appetizers, I like the street food in Delhi, which is very nice and deliciously arranged. Of course, the lamb dishes are also delicious. Since the amount of food is large overall, it is better to go hungry. You can dine while enjoying live Indian traditional music in a clean and lovely space. Agile service is also good.
