Am doing regular online consultations with Dr Nagesh since lockdown for diabetes.He is very systematic and prompt with treatment. he gives limited appointments and spares time. I really like his system where he asks you to send all reports and previous prescription, make payment and then his PA allots time band for whatsapp videocall. Sometimes you get appointment after 2 days but I understand that is because he gives only few appointments. Prescription is also very neat and printed and contains drug formula so that you can get substitute brand also. In this pandemic time he has been a great help in keeping my sugars under control. And the best thing about him is that he always keeps telling me that I should focus on lifestyle and being a 45 year old, my priority should be to lose weight, reduce medicines and eventually get rid of diabetes. I have not been able to do that, but I have definitely reduced my medicines. Stopping medicines is my next goal. Thanks a lot doctor

I was referred to Nagesh sir by my relative whose family is being treated by Dr Nagesh for last 4 years and they are very happy with him. I had recently opted for an online consultation for my father with Dr Nagesh, a week ago. Just prior to the call I had my father checked for fever and reports showed blood ketones and gall stones and inflammation. I was afraid of COVID and wanted treatment at home and requested doctor for home monitoring. But he counselled me and insisted that my father needed urgent admission and surgery as soon as possible. He spent almost ten minutes listening to me and counselling me and I finally got him admitted at a hospital near my house and operated after 2 days. It was a life saving surgery which was possible only bcos of the concern shown by Nagesh sir. His staff was also very helpful and set up an emergency appointment even though he was speaking in a web meeting with foreign delegates. He still made time for me and counselled me on a Sunday afternoon. And he also refunded my consultation fee because he had advised me urgent admission and since I got admitted with surgeon at a private hospital, he felt he should not ethically charge me for admission advice. In this time of COVID, where everyone is claiming to be sugar specialists on online websites, such genuine specialists are very rare today. Even the surgeon told me that I took a good decision by not waiting and admitting immediately and that was thanks to Endocrinologist’s detailed advice. Once my father is discharged I will definitely consult Dr Nagesh for diabetes care. I have full faith in him. Thank you very much

I have been following up with DR Nagesh for diabetes since 6 years. He has recently re-opened clinic from October after he was unavailable for a few days for some knee problem.. I am happy to see that he is following all safety precautions and is as polite and relaxed as ever. Everything is now digital and contact with staff and other patients is very limited. I feel safe in his clinic

I was advised by my family physician to consult doctor for my diabetes treatment. Clinic is very neat and orderly. As a senior citizen, I was a bit afraid of going to clinic due to COVID. However, i felt very happy when I visited clinic and found that doctor is following COVID precautions very strictly. It was true that because of all these precautions , meeting doctor took slightly longer time than usual but the wait is worth the safety, at least for senior citizens. I did find a couple of patients saying that many clinics have now stopped following COVID precautions but doctor is still following them and due to that they have to spend another 15 minutes extra for waiting. But we all have to remember that COVID is here to stay and we should be mindful of all precautions and compliment doctor for his care. Also clinic staff is very helpful and he has good knowledge and knows all recent innovations and is very polite inspite of being a famous doctor. I am feeling much better after meeting him.

So even though you might have to wait for a day for appointments, it is well worth it3. Consultation fee is reasonable for a well known specialist and tis well worth the services provided. Dietitian consultation is also free along with doctors consultation and sensible

My neighbour sent me to doctor for diabetes. No control since 2 years. Doctor told me can take upto 3-4 months for good control as sugars are very high. Should go slow in older people. Was sent to doctor for my daughters height problem. He took detailed measurements, a few necessary tests and checked x-rays and told me that she probably had growth hormone problem. He did not rush me into any test or treatment and told me about the high costs involved in growth hormone treatment. He also advised me to proceed with further tests only if I could afford to continue my daughter on treatment for another 3-4 years . I have still not decided whether I want to proceed with treatment but happy that doctor was concerned enough to tell me also about cost and financial aspect of treatment. I have been consulting this doctor for past 7 years since he started practice. I have watched him grow as a specialist. Seven years ago, he used to spend 10-15 minutes per new patient. Even today, he spends almost the same amount of time with every new patient. That is the reason why I come back to him for treatment every 6 months even though I have moved to Bengaluru. He has many times offered to refer me to a colleague of his in Bengaluru, but I prefer coming back to him. I think my good health is worth a trip to Hyderabad every 6 months.

Appointments are given in advance and he gives first priority to appointment patients. I took a prior appointment for my aunt for diabetes. When I reached the clinic, there were 2-3 patients who came as walk-in. They were trying to pressurise the clinic staff to send them ahead of appointment patients, saying otherwise they will consult another doctor.The doctor had the clinic staff tell them firmly that appointment patients had priority and he would not be able to see the walk-ins ahead of appointments.
