Located in the heart of Hyderabad city, the 22-acre studios mainly produce Telugu films and also provides various production and post-production facilities, including sound stages for set construction, outdoor sets, editing, dubbing and Digital Intermediate suites. In 2011, the Akkineni Family launched a non-profitable educational institute (Annapurna International School of Film and Media) with the principal aim of expanding the margins of the film & filmmaking by welcoming young and creative talent providing them with top notch education to achieve the above and beyond! ANRs son, actor Nagarjuna Akkineniserves as a chairman after his father’s dismiss..

Actually Im student in the campus. Its very cinematic feeling you get if you go around & see the the things.Campus is very vibrant & neat. PPL there were really calm & professional. We thought about big sets & all but they wont be that huge Coz big ones gonna be in 7 acres. Few shootings go on there regularly its different experience to watch them.

We did a photography workshop/exhibition way back in 1996, called Fotoxpo, which was a huge hit attended by photographers & others. Amala had done the inauguration. The studio people were cordial.

A popular shooting place, outsiders are not allowed. The studios is hosting most of the popular shows telecasts in etv channel like jabardasth and some other entertainment programs. And also most of the TV serials shoots at this place. It has two studios the other one at Indira Nagar road , and that studio hosts most of the audio functions with more than 5 big halls. Most popular Telugu entertainment show BIG BOSS set is made here. With reference of people in industry or the unit members one can easily visit inside and get a look of studios.
