BIMA stands for Bilateral Internal Memory Artery. On watching his video on BIMA, I, who was last week diagnosed for presence of three blocks in the arteries, immediately decided to go for it, as it seems to be the best, safest and latest technological advancement in the field of bypass surgery with little post operative pain (which can be easily managed by sedatives) in the chest where it is performed. The good thing about this bypass BIMA surgery is that it does not require extraction of veins or arteries from other part of the body, that is leg or arm, as is done in the normal bypass surgery. In the new BIMA Coronary Bypass Surgery, a spare and an un-utilized artery made available by God in every human chest is used as a bypass to the blocked artery - so this surgery involves a single cut in the chest with no visible scars or sutures any where on the body, including the chest. Your chest will appear normal which is not possible in a normal bypass surgery. This will be my first review on google. I never trusted online reviews however, the sudden change in family situation made me realise how important it is to share our experience that can save lives. Hello, i came to care hospital hyderabad with my father from Rajahmundry, Andhrapradesh for vascular surgeon consultant on July 23rd, after through examination through angiogram Dr P C Gupta vascular surgeon stated that bypass surgery is required to left leg and recommended for cardiac clearanceAfter seeing by the referred cardiologist he stated that there is a problem in heart and stunt replacement is required, if the problem in heart is not cleared it will be difficult to make surgery for leg. Dr. Prateek Bhatnagar one of the best surgeons we met .We are from Gondia Maharashtra. My grandfather had a major bypass surgery 16 years back in 2005 which was also done by Dr prateek sir and it was done so nicely that he merely had any problems. My husband went through a heart stroke while he was working in his office has he was employee in SCCL. The best heart surgeon!My father in law had an attack on the 4th of July, in my hometown Kagaznagar(I stay in Hyderabad). He was rushed to the Hospital where he was given ‘Telyse 40’, after which he got immediate relief. But he was still not out of danger, we wanted specialised care and treatment for him and Dr Prateek Bhatnagar was suggested to us by a close relative who had her 90 year old mother operated(Bypass surgery) upon successfully by Dr. Bhatnagar. We brought my father in law to Hyderabad on the 5th and admitted him directly to Care Hospital(He was still in danger of an repeat Heart attack). Review from my father:Late July I was experiencing acute stomach pain, bloating and water retention in my legs. My family and I went to a different hospital to get some tests done. The reports came back with everything normal except tests for Pulmonary. The doctors at the hospital mentioned it was a heart failure with 32% functioning rate that was causing these issues.As a second opinion, we went to Dr.Bhatnagar. He looked at the reports and immediately confirmed the diagnosis was accurate. He asked us not to delay and make me join at Care Hospital under his surveillance as soon as possible. After the surgery (02/09/2020), he mentioned to my family that the surgery was very complex because it was a triple bypass surgery. He mentioned that he was very happy with the way the surgery was done and that the overall process was successful. He promised that I would be able to walk in a week, that my life expectancy would be great for next 10-15 years and I would be discharge from the hospital in few days. Dr. Prateek Bhatnagar is one of the best heart surgeons in India, without any doubt. My father needed a redo bypass surgery (second time bypass surgery) at the age of 80 years. It was a very complicated surgery and we were very afraid. However, Dr. Bhatnagar took us into confidence and explained everything in detail. He did 5 bypasses on the heart. My fathers recovery was very good and he is back to full activity. A very well behaved doctor who is sincerely interested in the well being of his patients. We saw Dr Bhatnagar for my dads bypass surgery recently.
