I went here on Saturday night and I absolutely loved it.Specially, hookah was one of the best we had.Belly dance show was also very awesome. I really enjoyed it.Totally, we loved this place. All people should visit here at least once specially on Saturday.

Ambience is nice, good music and nice staff.They have outdoor seating too, so overall 4/5.Prices are $$ compared to others around, but worth it.Side note, hard to make rings in hookah as fan kills it,haha! Jk 😄

I was very excited to try this place but I really regret spending my night there. I had friends visiting so I wanted to show them a good hookah bar with yummy drinks but the drinks were clearly watered down. We ordered multiple shots and cocktails and all of us were pretty sober by the end of the night. Will never be coming back here again. Very disappointing

The Ambiance is super Bohemian chic and the music can sometimes really be on point. I think sometimes they have live dancers

This place is unprofessional. They gave us a hard time on not being able to accept a party over 4 , but allowed 2 big groups over 7. Then when my whole party arrived they told us they cannot take a party of 7 and allowed a group of 8 to go before us. The person we spoke to over the phone said reservation was set , but when we get there the owner says they don’t know reservations. They disrespected us and lied to us. On top of that the food isn’t even good at all.

Good place to try a hookah. They offer many flavours with mix n match. Price is reasonable. Starting $20. Ambience is okay but much better than other places that offer hookah. Community workers are quite generous and provide hospitable service.

Super cool spot for hookah. Pair it with Turkish coffee and its a bliss. Reasonable prices in a great neighborhood. Could get a little packed. Do NOT get a table by the door when its cold out . Dont be shy to ask for recommendations, staff is very knowledgeable.

WORST SERVICE EVER!! There was cold air coming from the roof directly where I was sitting so I politely asked the lady if there’s any way to stop the air or if we could sit somewhere else. She rudely replied “What do you want me to do, do you want me to stop it with my hand”. Even though the place wasn’t busy, she didn’t allow us to sit anywhere else. To top it all off, we had to remind her our orders a few times before she brought it out to us. Came here with friends to have a good time and she ruined my entire evening.

Nice place if you come with your own drinks and food. In all NYC venues you need to order some food, but here - quite opposite. We were waiting around 40 minutes for simple drink, not to mention food. We were about to leave this place as our waitress was never available. I had to ask other guys from staff to call her. When she came to the table she even didnt let my friend finish what he was saying, she just left when he wanted to order food. Whats going on with you guys? And the cherry on the top! - gratuity automatically INCLUDED! For what??? Is that your famous New York, so called: top/best service? Ive been working as a server for couple of years too and this is just embarassing.

One of my favorite spots in the LES. Kazuza has a great vibe and relaxed setting. The drink menu and bar selection is good and if youre hungry they have a surprisingly large section of food. Their Halloween decorations are awesome at the moment.

Tea is sweet automatically, your hookah master doesn’t know English, so they can’t fix your burning hookah. Great place if you don’t know how hookah should be prepared and you never tried tea before👌

The seats my group of 4 received indoors was extremely uncomfortable, felt like I was sitting in a crowded airplane.Service was not good at all, delayed drink and food order - got tea that tasted like luke warm water and chalky hummus that didnt arrive till after our bill came to leave.Wont be going there again.

Horrible service, disgusting food. I went with a few friends on a Saturday and we waited to be served for a long time. There was only one waitress that night which made the experience even worse. The food came out super late, it was cold and had no taste. Drinks were super watery and small for the cost. I dont smoke hookah but my friends did. The bill ended up being close to $400 for the table. They charged us a ton for gratuity. Do not come here. Terrible experience.

Horrible experience! The spacing between the tables were uncomfortably too close. The food HORRIBLE!!!!! Appetizers were cold entrees tasted burnt! The food overall didn’t taste fresh it was like they were heating the food up in the back. Management was so rude and didn’t accommodate with us at all as if they were doing us a favor! We’re the ones paying and want good service! Truly disgusted. If I could give less than 1 star I would! I would never recommend this spot to anyone and I damn sure will NEVER go back there!!!!!

I will not be coming back here ever again. Perhaps this place is under new management, because I use to love coming here. But the service was awful. We went there for a friends birthday. Said friends was running late. There was 4 of us, two more in the way. They kept moving our seats. And when they moved us the last time they accused us of lying about the number of people in our party though the two people with us went to the rest room and they SAW THEM. Not to mention they claimed we couldnt get water unless we bought drinks (even though three out of us ordered drinks and they didnt bring them the whole 30 minutes we waited). We then ordered hookah and thats when one of the men who worked there really started berating us staying weve been sitting there the whole time and had not ordered and that we were losing him money. Despite the fact we all had ordered drinks we never freaking got. And a hookah we also never freaking got. I will NEVER come here again.

This place is a dub. Sure the hookah aspect was cool. You know what wasnt cool? The watered down drinks and the fact their bartenders/wait staff are the definition of bad. Someone ordered an gingerale and it took at least 25 minutes to get, and the alcohol beverages came out much earlier. The food was okay....

Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and I must say that I was really satisfied with everything! Came along with friends to celebrate and the service we received was great. Our drinks were fairly strong. Loved the belly dancers, loved the cake they brought out with a lit candle for him. Everything was just excellent. Really had an amazing time, I will definitely be back! Excellent service

They include tip in the bill but my last 4 visits conveniently did not show it when Im signing the bill, there was simply a Total and line for Tip. Only when you ask for the itemized receipt do you find out. Super sleezy business practice. Drinks and hookah were fine.

We came here for my sisters birthday on a Saturday night. Arrived at 8:30 pm and the place wasnt packed. Our entire group wasnt there all at once so we first sat in a small area for about 5 people. As more and more of our friends came, the area we had was not enough. We asked to be moved to a larger area but the head waitress said that it was reserved. A little while later, the owner, Mohammed, saw how packed we were and asked if we wanted to move to a larger space! He definitely took care of us even though the place was jam-packed!The hookah was one of the best in the city and was extremely reasonably priced. We tried three different flavors, all of which were perfectly light. Someone changed the coal every so often so the tobacco never burned. We had small appetizers which were also reasonably priced. I would most definitely come back here for the hookah, atmosphere and the very nice service. Great cozy and lounge-like environment in Alphabet City. Highly recommend for a laid back, hookah smoking environment.

The hookah was nice until it died out on us. I know how that sounds hookah died well thats exactly what happened it burned out and the flavor become utterly disgusting wasnt long after that till the top leaked out a liquid from the pineapple top.The fries there were nice and crispy, I wouldnt get the wraps though the chicken one I ordered was wrapped in foil and where they cut it there were bits of foil inside the wrap. My friend goes there a lot and he says you should stick to the burgers theyre usually on point. The staff is really nice, pretty chill environment and the prices are reasonable Ive been there a couple times but that one time our hookah just had to much pressure on it for trying to be perfect.

So I wasnt impressed with the food at all! The hookah was a little too weak for me, but the ambiance was very nice. Cute place to go to after work, on a date, or just to chill and relax. I would consider in the future. Definitely a place to consider checking out if your in the area.

Great music and hookah. The hookah was a little pricey, in my opinion, but I think comparing it to the other hookah lounges around the area its priced fairly. Its a very casual environment. Great place to just chill. The owner was extremely friendly to me and my friend, even gave us a free shot before we left his establishment. Needless to say, I would definitely come back here when Im back in NYC.

I used to go there over the summer, smoking shisha its something that I shared with my boyfriend and his roots. Everytime we go there, we have one of our favorite bartenders in the city, that made us feel home every time with go there for drinks and hookah. They have nice music and vibes, some night a belly dancer will come to entertain us with arabic music and culture. I believe a place that contains many memories of you with your love ones its a place to always come back to enjoy.

Came here with my girlfriend and friends for my birthday and we were treated like royalty. We ordered 3 pitchers of different cocktails and they make satisfyingly strong drinks! They accommodate for birthdays by bringing out a cake with candles and belly dancers. We had an amazing time!

Ive been here twice, once the hookah was great. The next time it was pathetic. Dont get the pineapple flavored hookah if they try to sell you that. The food was okay. The good thing is if the hookah is good, the place is open till 4 am. Nice place to chill with friends if youre lucky with the hookah.

Having just come back from a trip to Istanbul, we were craving an awesome hookah bar. Ive been to quite a few (if not all) of the hookah bars in NYC...but Kazuza always stuck out as the most authentic and fun. I took a group there last night and Im so glad we didnt go anywhere else. The food was awesome (to our surprise...we werent planning on eating), the drinks were great...and of course, the hookah was delicious.Beyond that, the staff was amazing too. We got to know the owner Mohamed and his son Noor. Nothing makes Mohamed more happy than seeing his customers happy...it comes across effortlessly.I cant wait to go back!

Atmosphere was amazing, sheesha was well made and service was good. They come change the coal and one sheesha last a few hours. Food was also good it is a busy place. No need to make reservations there are table rotating quickly. Belly dancer on Saturday night however only for 3 or 4 songs might be the only thing they can improve on ..

This is a really nice place to go to if youre a first time hookah user. We went there on V-day before 7pm so there wasnt a lot of people but around 8pm, people started pouring in. The service was very good (a bit overbearing at times but its better to have servers who care vs not giving a crap). There was a nice-sized list of hookah flavors and prices. Im not an expert on hookahs but my bf is an experienced user and he had a wonderful time. Very good quality hookah. We only had appetizers, which were pretty good (hummus and chicken fingers), so the bill didnt turn out to be ridiculous. The music they played was a bit random but nothing too bad (one would think to play love-themed songs for Valentines day at the very least). The lighting was a nice, soft, low-light area. Theres no relianle heating set up so you might end up wearing your winter wear for a period of time before you warm up. I highly recommend this place during a less crowded time.

Horrrible serviceeeee. they tried to serve us fake liquor and after we expressed that our shots had the taste of water they didnt want to help us. they told us it was too late because we took the shots and there was nothin they could do. The manager was extremely nasty. the food was also veryyyyy salty.

We had a bad experience at this place. The food is not expensive but its also not good. Ive had better Arabian food in other bars in the city. The belly dance show was supposed to last 1 hour as per what I was informed, but it only lasted 25 minutes. I can safely say that she only danced 4 songs.The show itself was pretty good but very short. It said on a sign outside of the place that it would start at 11.00 pm but it started almost midnight and before 00.30 it was over. Disappointing!I usually dont give bad reviews so Ill try going there again.

My girlfriend suggested this place for our NYE celebration. We arrived late (at 1am) and missed our free-champagne-for-a-group-of-singles-deal and were forced to abide with their $20-minimum-per-person-rule. There were 12 of us but not everyone smokes. Matter of fact, 2 of them was a virgin! Hookah virgin, I mean!The bouncer was very nice and easy. The waitress was inattentive and pushy. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and tight. It was so dark (and dark enough) that my friend had accidentally hit me in the eye with his hand! I was tearing up and cant find any tissue/napkin to wipe my tears! OMG!Not happy with what had happened on the first day of the year and wouldnt wanna go back!

Ive been here so many times over the past few years times and each time I loved it more than the last. They have a great seating scheme -- comfortable, too -- and it doesnt get too crowded on Friday and Saturday nights before 11. Every now and then I see belly dancers and I love that. They also play really great music. The drinks are great, especially the teas. The food is good if just a bit overpriced.Late night on Fridays and Saturdays they turn down the lights, turn up the music, and the place becomes more akin to a dance club. If you want a more relaxing hookah experience you should probably avoid this. But, as I said, in the early evenings things are pretty nice.As for the Hookah, I have never been disappointed. The flavors are quite good (try the blue mist), they last a good long time, they dont charge you to replace the coals, and the staff is pretty knowledgeable.Highly recommended if youre looking for a respite from the places over on 1st ave.

The Hookah lounge located in the East Village is by far the best in New York City. The atmosphere is perfect, what you would want in a hookah lounge with good music but it isnt loud enough were you wont be able to talk to the people your going with. The service was amazing which is one the best parts, the waitress would always come by and ask if we were okay and would bring the drinks within second of asking, quiet amazing for a place that is busy every night. The alcohol was reasonably priced but the beer was quiet high compared to some of the other places in the area, but that is okay because the hookah more than makes up for it, and it cheap. A good place to stop of you are every in the East Village.
