Taste, service much better than some of the so called best restaurants in city. Will always love to visit this place whenever we want to just enjoy the food.

The new papaji ka dhaba. Nicely renovated. Good staff - advice: listen to customers clearly first. Food was great. Kadai chicken and tandoori roti combination was upto the mark. Masala kulcha and baigan ka badatha was average. Overall a good experience for my hunger.

Was there in King Koti market for some work with my friends and one them recommended to have lunch here.. It was my first visit to Sagar Papaji ka Dhaba and we settled in the ground floor seating area as first floor was out of service.. Waiters were courteous to take the order and we ordered Tandoori Roti, Butter Tandoori Roti, Paneer Fry Curry, Chicken Fry Curry, Veg Biriyani and finally rounded up with Punjabi Lassi.. As my friend described earlier, the food was super yummy and tasty and we super delighted.. Not to forget about their special chutney (Chilli, Garlic and onion mix) that they serve with every order.. Its an old eatery and maintaining the same taste till day.. If you are near Koti or Abids area, I highly recommend to visit here.. Both veg and nonveg items are mouth watering and they serve one of the best egg Pudding.. Looking forward to visit along with family again soon.

This place has best chicken biriyani and also chicken kabab. Chicken kabab has right amount has spices and the chicken was perfectly coocked

I used to visit this place in the late 90s and early 2000s as a student.I visited again last week and the food quality hasnt changed. Its still very yum and undoubtedly the best dhaba in Hyderabad. Its sad that they dont have any branches around Madhapur/Gachibowli.

One of the vintage restaurant. Renovated to compete with any contemporary restaurant. Taste remains same, delicious and yummy. Must try Tandoori chicken, best in Hyderabad.

We had salty Lassi and ordered a take out instead of dining here.Although our visit to this place was because of our desire to eat makki di roti and sarson ka saag, which was unavailable.We chose the next best item, paneer butter masala and Biryani made in Punjabi signature style.Must say the rice was well cooked and also the long grain was keeping up the flavour inspite of the fact it got quite cold when we reached home. The busy tandoor as seen in images indicates the crisp tandoori rotis and naans that are turned out for the guests that visit especially during the weekend.They have a separate family section on the ground floor, with an air-conditioned section on the upper floor.For people in a hurry to eat and on the go the service is quick at the entrance road level itself. The wide corridor has chairs for waiting leading into a spacious dining hall which has the open Tandoor, kitchen view along with the cash counter.There is a valet parking service and also basement parking available here.Located in Abids this place caters to the demand of the area.

Planning for a desi weekend hangout with friends ? I suggest this place for large groups. Its pure veg and Ive been a customer there since past 11 years. It has authentic Punjabi cuisine. My suggestion is to opt for main course salad and then try buttermilk at the end.

Tandoori chicken is awesome.. apart from this biryani is very good..They even serve cakes and pastries last but not the least a glass full of chilled lassi...

The standard has terribly gone down, the owner is only interested in getting the profits and expanding where as the attendants provide bad service and are not interested in actually serving the customers but only in getting the tip when the check is paid. A big thumbs down!

20 years back this is my favorite place to hangout with friends for a great food and I visited recently with same old friends and the hotel is modified and the taste of food not changed and our expectations met.wish to visit again on my next visit to India.

Best when you visit with Friends who doesnt need look for ambiance .Mutton biryani is best here .I should mention this - I never had a tandoori roti made with wheat flour . Here we find that and it tastes awesome.

I was browsing in youtube and came across a video about this place and interestingly i was on a work near by this place and it was dinner time by then so went to this place and ordered tandoori chicken and ginger chicken gravy and roti. Of all I really liked tandoori chicken alot. It was so delicious. As for the ginger chicken goes it is little bit on the sweeter side but it was good, but the lassi was so sweet to the core couldn’t drink it, i’m not use to have that much of sugar. Will try tandoor items next time.

Best Is The Only Word Can Described For The Dish Chicken Ashiyana

We visited this place since it was our anniversary. No parking space available so please plan ahead as its a very busy place. The ambience was neat and hygienic. The staff was welcoming too but the food was dreadful. We ordered chana masala and paneer butter masala and all we could see was litres of oil floating. Chana and paneer in both the respective curries were almost not visible. Although the masala kulcha was tasty, bit Rs 90 for a small chapati like piece of kulcha seems inappropriate.

The food is over rated for this place..... heard good reviews hence visited but then had a bad experience.The staff was rude , Manager is alone handling the floor. The service & food was just OK.

Have been customer for this restaurant (online orders) until today when we went for dine in... Giving one star only and only because of RUDE staff behaviour and OWNER supporting staff inspite of knowing his mistake.. Tandoori chicken wasnt cooked well also mix veg wasnt expected to be so bland in taste specially being a PUNJABI restaurant. I ordered a Butter Chicken with Naan. Sorry to say, but the butter chicken is not upto normal standards and the naan was rubbery... Had high hopes from this restaurant after reading the reviews.. The Butter Chicken they serve is an utter insult to its name.

Great place to be with family and friends. The new renovated ambiance is really great with AC section added. The taste remains the same yummy and didn’t disappoint on my last visit after few years. The shahi paneer and ginger chicken was yummy and awesome. The service given by the staff was really good and the communication of best dishes was really appreciating.

This one is exactly opposite to Rajdhani Bar.Ambience is decent, they have open kitchen near the entrance and a family section maintained separate.Ordered Masala Pyaaz, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Ashiana and Butter naan.These were so flavorful and different from the regular restaurants. Perfectly marinated, cooked and succelent! I loved Masala Pyaaz so much that I ordered one first and simply finished it off within minutes! Then ordered one more again!The pricing is affordable which makes me want to visit again to try other stuff from the menu. Simply an Amazing Flavorful Experience.

This is the worst place I ever visited. When I first went there at around 8pm no one was there except one couple to my surprise I asked, was it open or shall we visit some other time the manager said food is ready its completely open. I said there is no fresh air could u plz ON A/C they switched it on andI ordered some stuff and we couple started having our dinner . I asked them why I am feeling suffocated even after A/C is running then manager said the A/c is under maintenance it is getting repaired. Food was as usual very hot we both we shedding sweat I repeatedly asked all the staff regarding A/C but response was nil from their side I told manager that I will not pay the bill as we were totally uncomfortable and sweaty I told him to waive off the A/c charges and charge us as per non A/C price as there was no A/c till we paid the bill. Manger said he would talk to owner but at that time of bill payment he said they were charging same for A/C and NON A/C. I simply took the bill slip and walked out . I will not leave them I will definitely go to consumer forum on this issue.

The restaurant is good for people who would love Hyderabadi food or northern cuisine! The service is okay and cleanliness is alright and food tastes amazing. The price range is affordable and can be visited often. Its got a family section separately..so families can have pretty good time. I would surely suggest you to try out the restaurant, and if youre too much concerned of cleanliness and need to get done quickly.... I would suggest the Takeaway section. Thankyou :)

Horrible exprience by the staff and the owner they treat as if u want eat otherwise leave...we order garlic nan..all over Hyderabad if u order garlic nan..it has pieces of garlic all over the nan..to my suprise this restaurant doesnt have ..when I asked the owner replied rudely saying who will apply pieces of garlic on the nan..we only apply garlic paste itseems..I was shocked there were no taste of garlic only he was like if u want eat otherwise leave...horrible service and food..these guys are ruining the name and fame of the so called restaurant..I dont recommend this resturant..its my personal experience..ore over the staff are completely changed

We order roti, tandoori chicken, chicken Ashiana, butter chicken n pulav rice. Upon all tandoori chicken was good n chicken Ashiana was excellent. Must try Ashiana. Butter chicken was worst. Its like a normal chicken curry but named butter chicken which has no taste.

If you really want to taste autgentic Kebabs, then there is no other place better than Pappaji ka dhaba. Tandoori and Tangdi kebab are a standout. We had a stuffed tangdi kabab, i really liked the concept of stuffed. Deep inside the piece its well cooked. A chutney made out of Ginger was amazing and they serve onions drenched in coconut milk i sensed which was amazing. Mutton Biryani, Kheema, Ginger Chiken evry dish was so authentic, delicious. Not to forget about Tandoori Roti which is made out of Aata flour and not maida. Yet they bring better crispness and makes more tastier than any other tandoori roti in hyd. I put this Dhaba in my list to visit when ever i go to any place around Abids. Infact i will plan to visit this place very often travelling more than 20 kms from my place.

Outstanding taste of both Veg and non veg dishes. We ordered stuffed chicken kebabs and thought ot took time, was worth the wait. The panner dishes were equally tasty. Only bad experience was the Chaas, which was not upto the expectations.
