Its an fabulous concept. I really loved this place because of its concept and I suggest everyone to visit this restaurant which gives you a different and an amazing experience dinning. The concept is get know to blind or disable people more closely. No phones or any luminous things like watch are allowed inside the restaurant they will be put safe in locker. It is very dark inside the restaurant, you cant even see your hand. Youll get both veg and non veg food and the task is you have to identify what you have got as the menu wont be disclose and finish it. There are other fun activities also like cricket, maze etc that too in dark. People who serve are also blind and fitted with advanced technology tool. Its a must have experience and must visit place.

This place is empowering blind people by employing them. This is not merely felt if you read. For a while, you live the life of a blind person.Although its 600 for veg buffet and the taste is average, you cannot complain as its the experience you need to matter about. We spend lot of money on many places but that might not serves a cause but visiting here, its like you did a good thing and helped for a cause. So dont miss it.

Great experience. It is run by blind people only. A Big Salute to the idea and their spirit. We will come to know the value of vision and what visually impaired people go through in daily life. They have both Exhibition tour and Restaurant. A guide will be there for us who are very supportive. We must use our senses carefully for Exhibition tour which consists of some activities. Coming to food, they have a fixed menu for veg and non-veg,and dont expect much. Starter was good but food was not worth the price. They charge 630rs for Restaurant, 630rs for Exhibition tour and 1040rs for both combined. Worth the price for this kind of experience.

#FoodShaukeen #DialogueInTheDark #UnforgettableExperienceSome wiseman said You cant study the darkness by flooding it with light. Dr. Andreas Heinecke, the founder of Dialogue in the Dark has started this masterpiece in 1988 after an encounter with a blind journalist, who changed his perception towards this differently abled life. Right from stepping into darkness till you step out, every single thing is an unparalled experience and a sneak peak into their world. Move beyond sight is what they say by awakening your rest of the senses. The main concept is to make us step into their world and feel the world as they do(so sympathy turns to empathy) and understand how capable they are without sight, and that is something we heavily rely on! Our guided tour into darkness showed us how our other senses are equally important to find out anything/anyone by touching/feeling the object, by the smell and hearing. We had a dine-in experience too where they follow a layout for us to get seated and serve following that. They explain you what you can expect in the dish and how to navigate around the plate and the table. We run into servers going wrong sometimes, even after we have visibility of what has to be done. Hats-off to these guys ensuring our experience completed with zero defects. Speaking about the food, they have 4 combos (Italian,Desi,Oriental and Paratha) and each combo is priced at 599++ be it veg or non veg. Eating at this Dark restaurant doesnt only give you experience, but also ensures you will love the delicacies. The portion sizes for each combo may not tummy-ful you, but when such experience is coupled with such great food - your buck is surely justified. This is one experience where I might have described less about food and more about place, because that is what you get here - Unforgettable experience.Oh, did I mention that they conduct workshops for corporates (or anyone in large number) as part of team building activities? Cant wait to try this out!!This doesnt end here, management of DiD constantly upbrings Visually impaired people by training them in different aspects and make a buck for their living. Contact the team on how well you can do your part in this.Do not miss visiting this place and lose such amazing experience. Im sure you wouldnt be disappointed.

Loved the unique idea and experience, staff at front desk is very helpful. Inside staff is not welcoming, and sort of pale in responding. The main minus thing of this place is the palate of food.Such an ambiance must serve things like sandwhiches, fries, pizza, Bbq etc which are easy to eat, serve and discover.in complete darkness, pitch black to be precise, how can one eat a Biryani! in addition to that with Raita (curd), curry?it was a complete disaster with spoilt clothes. However the taste was excellent.

A dialogue in the dark offers a completely new experience when it comes to dining with your loved one. The restaurant serves its food completely in the dark and encourages you to rely on other sense than that of sight. You are guided by your waiter to the table and from there on you completely rely on your taste buds and sense of touch as your only sources of information. You and your loved one will be completely blown away by this experience as you both will have to rely on one and another through the meal.Address: Hitech City, Hyderabad, Telangana

Makes one appreciate the gift of eyesight. I think the food tastes better than what it would, had I been able to see it. You are helped by a waiter into pitch black and seated. You need to feel the plate, the food in it, and eat; absolutely unaware of your surroundings. I initially thought that the waiters have some sort of see in the dark goggles. That couldnt have been farther from the truth when the waiter led me back to the entrance after I was finished with welcome back to the light, Sir. Breaks ones heart to know that the entire staff is blind.

I liked the themed based restaurant Dialogue in tge Dark lemme start of by explaining how the restaurant works. The restaurant is inside Inorbit Mall Hitce City. So you hav to make the payment first at the counter, and decide if you would like to have non-vegetarian dish or vegetarian. (Its like a thali) and than wait for them to collect more group of people, it would hardly take 5-10 mins. Than they ask you to follow one of them inside the restaurant and ask you to keep holding each other before it gets pitch black. Once you get inside the restaurant(okay the person kept on guiding us, thats how i came to know) it is completely pitch black, well when i say black, trust me its completely dark and black you cannot see a ray of light from anywhere or see each other. They guide you to sit on the chairs respectively and as you wait for the food patiently you can only hear your partner or talk to them about this situation or laugh, while looking silly. Later on the food was served to us, and we were guided as from left to right what dishes are their in our plates, and where the rotis/desert and water at. You start eating some how managing to keep your eyes wide open(still you cannot see anything) and you end up dipping ur fingers in you food, coz they dont give you spoon or fork to eat.(You might hurt someone or urself, you never know) U end up putting your fingers into curd/rice/gravy to regret it later😂 As you struggle to eat. You realise how blind people manage their day to day chorus. You realise their struggle, their pain. That was the exact theme of the restaurant too. Sounds fun right.? but it was more eye opener too for the commoners like us. You also get startled to know that people serving you food inside were actually blind. 4 stars coz it was expensive and food was very common. But it is definately worth the experience.

One of the finest dinning options in the city; i found dialogue in the dark is a perfect place as it serves wide variety of food with a delicious taste. The staff who work here are blind. The restro staff is generous, courteous and their manager is always at your help. There will be a fixed menu for veg and non veg. I had non veg. The food was delicious and not too oily & spicy. A food with perfect mixture of taste and healthyness. And yes last but not the least its a pocket friendly too....5 star for the food and wow for the manager and staff

Concept is good and the service also good. Can gain a good experience. Though they are visually impaired, motivated us a lot. Giving 3 rate as no second serve of food and not even other options for food.

A surreal experience...a great initiative to make you realise the importance of your sensory organs. You explore new ways to feel things around you. A visit worth your time. Cant say anything more as it will end up spoiling the fun.

Staff and experience is good. Dont expect food, very few items in the plate and quantity is also very less. Quality and taste is up to the mark. But to experience the food in dark need to go once....
