One of the best places to eat sushi I found in Hyderabad. Prices are fair, sushi is well served and the service is vert good.

Except the noodles rest of the food was good . I liked the sushi , prawn hargao, Tom yum soup and crispy fried chicken .

Not long ago, people weren’t looking for other options when it come to Pan Asian cuisines apart from Chinese and a little Thai. But the food trend has evolved at a rapid pace, within a couple of years there have been places that came up covering major of the Pan Asian flavours. A lot of them are doing pretty good and also the acceptance and developing a palate for the same by the people has been a big plus for the restaurants.It still couldn’t be like the authentic way but it is definitely close to it. Maguro is the newest addition to the current list of Pan Asian restaurants in the city. Though its a new place the owner and Chef has a lot of experience behind them which was evident in their food and service.The food was bang on, so with the Ambience and service.

MaguroLove Pan Asian food ! Head to maguro ! Must be wondering were is it located and all !? Well we all must be aware of churrolto!? Yes maguro is located next to churrolto quite opposite to ratnadeep on the main road of film nagar !!! Ambience is quite soul soothing ! They have two kind of seating arrangements one which is the authentic lower table Asian style seating and for the ones who wouldnt prefer that they have the regular dining tables well Id suggest you the experience the Asian style seating atleast once ! They have wall hangings with some art work and sculptures the staff is very polite and helpful ! Lets talk about food now so we ordered asparagus tempura maki sushi and chicken coriander dumplings and in beverages blue poppy! This was my first time trying sushi also with sushi I never knew Id learn it this quick it was so much ! Asparagus tempura maki sushi tho its veg it didnt give me that feel as it was lip smacking ! Loved the tempura flavour when compiled with asparagus ! Coming to the dumplings I most favourite they were perfectly steamed ! The filling was just amazing ! And the beverage we ordered , blue poppy is basically blue Curacao with a hint of lime and soda loved it tho ! If youre badly craving for some pan Asian food then you must surely visit maguro !

I will recommend this place for its authentic Pan-Asian cuisine. The food was impeccable and the decor is very lively which makes it a perfect dinner/lunch place.The hospitality of the staff is impressive and the chef knows the perfect recipe for a delightful cuisine.You should definitely try their Golden Katsu Chicken Curry, Yakitori Teriyaki and their Sushi Platter. The Pad thai noodles was on the point too. If you love Asian cuisine, you will love this place for sure!

Good place, the ambience is alright and so is the food.Pad Thai was as expected, delicious and the Japanese Golden Curry (if Im not wrong), was really good.

Fantastic place to have pan Asian cuisines. Peter the chef who owns the place is very humble and extremely talented when it comes to sushi. Please do order asparagus tempura maki whenever you visit. Lovely experience. Our host Asha was also pretty sweet and handled the guests very well.

Red curry, Yello curry and Cheese ball was very good

While the sushi we ordered was good, the Yaki udon noodles (that were almost twice the price as the other noodles) were very disappointing and triumphed over the sushi. I expected thick udon noodles since it was an expensive dish but we got normal flat skinny noodles.

It means a blue fin tuna in Japanese. Exotic name right?!.Ever watched Tom Cruise’s The Last Samurai, where he learns the ways of Japanese culture, the food, blends in with the costume and all? Well just like that we had a good interaction with the Chef, where he explained a lot about the food, the technique, sourcing of ingredients where I just listened and interrupted with a lot of questions. Lemme draw your quick attention to the bento boxes which they just introduced to the menu very recently and its already a hit!! The best thing is, you get splendidly tailored portions of many sushi’s or combinations of dishe’s in a single box other than ordering each one of them. Trust the chef👩🏻‍🍳mate!!My favourite box was Matsu King Set which had Yello bean soup, Fresh Seaweed Salad(BRILLIANT), Bread crumb prawns, Scallop in spicy sauce, Salmon, Tuna, Crab and Prawns Fried Rice! This is priced at ₹1750, I know it’s expensive but it’s worth considering the exotic raw materials & workmanship which has gone into it. Siam Set priced at ₹950 has a jasmine steam rice, green thai curry, raw papaya salad, Tom yum soup & minced chicken in hot basil sauce.Bento Sashimi is not for the faint hearted. Just raw meat delicacies such as salmon, tuna, scallop, crab sticks and eel meat which was light but light sweet. The Pork was yummy and Beef, Yaki-Niku (grilled beef) in sweet mirin soya sauce was a Japanese dish and different from what I had ever had. A sweet sauce flavoured beef was really a first for me. We ended the day with another brilliant dessert, Green Tea Icecream. Made with the finest matcha leaves this is a exclusive Japanese dessert. This place is like the poor cousin of Hashi chain in Hyderabad. I have tried the crispy honey chilly lotus stem and the Asparagus tempura maki.The sushi was too large to be comfortable in the mouth. The taste was okay.. no bursting of flavour in the mouth and at the same time not so bad as to dismiss it. The portion of the meal was large ,which is a huge plus,if you are on budget.Good place for a regular on budget asian cuisine

Its not always that a place leaves an impact on you. Maguro surely left one on me. Saw this place recently beside Guilt Trip in Film Nagar and wanted to try their food. To my surprise, not even one of their dish was not good. Superb presentation, amazing and authentic flavor and impeccable service. I was totally blow away by the hospitality at Maguro and would definitely like to visit again.To be honest, I can still feel the taste of Dumpling Soup, it was one of the best I have ever had. If youre a vegetarian and wondering about options at Maguro, step in without an ounce of doubt. They have a huge menu for vegetarians as well.Absolutely loved the place!

Everything was done right, the food isnt too expensive and that doesnt diminish the portion size or quality of the food in the least bit.I tried their phad thai, nasi goreng, crispy chicken and Thai herbs and some American corn salt and pepper. They were all perfect and left me satisfied.

Barring a bit of hassle with the swipe machine during payment, our experience was pretty good. The food was fresh, artistically presented and delicious and it didnt burn a hole in our pockets either.For first timers Id recommend the bento box meals to get an idea of the kind of sushi and sashimi thats available. You can fill up on starters of the Bento box bit itself and not have to opt for the run of the mill mIn course with rice or noodles.Do end the meal with their coconut oil-based dessert that has chopped bits of water chestnuts in it. Served cold and delicious!

Tried Cucumber Maki, California Te Maki (specialty of this place) and Thapthim Krop here. This is my first time trying Japanese food and it was a good experience. Prices are affordable considering the ingredients used. Ambiance is decent. You can sit on the floor and eat too.

This place has average tasting, warm, delayed food. The service is slow like a snail, waiters are clueless and whoever manages the floor has no respect for customers whatsoever. Unless they correct their service as an emergency, I wish them the best.
