Since i lived in china for 6 long years i have seen their culture and food very closely. And after coming to India i craved for Chinese food, especially hotpot. And then i came across this place and i am so glad i chose this place. The ambiance was on point, the service was on point, the food was on point. Ofcourse, it didn’t match the taste as 100% with the authentic Chinese hot pot but i was pretty convinced with the taste. I went out with my friends who lived with me in china as well and we all were very satisfied with the food. Our souls were satisfied actually and it was very nostalgic. The way they served and the paintings around matched with a typical Chinese restaurant which was a bonus to us. And let’s talk about the price, it was affordable. When i say it was affordable it means even a student gang can also afford it. And the quantity was enough too. I will definitely re visit this place. And, i would recommend it to my other friends as well. And many of them were very much surprised seeing the hotpot on my Instagram handle😅. Long story short: Try it, you will love it. Have fun.

Food is yummy ..I had been to Haiku . This day as Haiku was closed we tried holy basil and trust me they made lotus stems better.The ambiance and services is good. We had been there at around 10:45pm and the closing hours were 11:30pm.

Among the various stand-alone and luxury dining options, Holy Basil - The Tru Oriental Experience (part of Radisson Blu, Banjara Hills) is a respite to Oriental cuisine lovers where the taste and authenticity is maintained to the highest level while being extremely polite to our Wallets.It has recently gone a renovation and the transformation is strikingly beautiful. The ambience oozes out energetic and positive vibes. The predominant usage of RED colour, props, and candle-lights adds to the relaxing environment.-Happy customer who loves good food

Very nice ambience. Thai curry was pretty good. Not so happy with szechwan noodles as they were bland. Also one humble suggestion that rice should be included with thai curries, because that’s how they are served generally around the world in Thai restaurants. Ordering rice separately makes the whole combo pretty expensive.

Great place for authentic Chinese food. The food, unlike most Indian Chinese restaurant food, has more authentic flavours, and thus offers a very different taste and experience. The service is really great. The ambience of the place is really good too, but being a small space, it does tend to feel slightly cramped. One thing that stands out is the flavour of the non-alcoholic drinks, they are simply amazing. All in all, arguably the best restaurant in the city for an authentic Chinese meal.

Holy Basil just reopened for dinner. We were greeted warmly as always. Food was great. The dim sums are the best I have had. Service is fabulous- friendly but professional. They go out of their way to accommodate requests. Thank you, Ankur, Kumar’s and Ashok for making the evening special. This is our go-to place to unwind.

Amazing food , value for money

Three of us foodies had a Wonderful meal at Holy Basil this afternoon. The Service by Ms April was most satisfactory. She was attentive throughout, well informed on the appropriate Sauces, and liaised with the Chef so that Allergies were taken care of.April somehow managed to arrange, by persuading the Chef and enlisting his co-operation to give us Soba Noodles (on Special request, and not on the menu mind you). The Chef in turn, was equally courteous, making every effort to please the Guests palates. Kudos to both of them.

No doubt experince was pretty good.if i talk about food i was quite satisfied with the proper quantity and it was delicious too. Prices are economical.There is few options for combo meal that one can easily purchase from any of the online site platform like easy diner,nearbuy,Bookmyshow etc which are really cheap.Peaceful ambience of the resturant is really relaxing.I would love to visit again.Thank you!

This place is located inside Radisson hotel and is a bit high end as well. As a result it is a bit expensive as well. But he food felt really authentic as they serve a variety of sauces that we were really tasty. They a complimentary drink they serve some herbal tea which had really good flavors.

As fascinating is the name, so is the restaurant in the lobby area of Radisson Blu banjara hills.Its darker theme is more suited for adults. One of the few restaurants that serves great Japanese cuisine food.

One Line - Food doesnt justify the exorbitant prices.Also, the prices indicated in the Holy Basil menu on Zomato are probably misleading, as the real prices are up by more than 25%. See the bill in the attached pics to know the real prices. Even the Himalayan water bottle is charged at Rs. 200 each.To start with Radisson Blu isnt in a great locality. The road leading to the hotel are quite small and cramped. But once you enter the place, the surroundings and ambiance are awesome. Took the entire family - 6 guests +3 small kids (who ate nothing) - for a birthday lunch to Holy Basil (which is the restaurant in Radisson Blu). The kids enjoyed playing near the water fall and the wide empty spaces in the hotel and they didnt bother to eat.The food was decent. The Khao suey soup came with little noodles & chicken and tasted good. We had quite a few starters in chicken, prawn and lamb.The taste was good, the quantity was decent. Crispy lamb honey chilly was the best. The Hakka noodles and Szechuwan fried rice were as usual. The Nasi Goreng was interesting but didnt make much of an impact for Rs. 775. The 3 course lunch ending with the Creme Brulee was so -so.I would say that, overall, spending almost Rs.1500 per person for the food that we ate, didnt make sense, unless you had enough money to throw around foolishly. I would not suggest this place as it didnt make me feel that those exorbitant prices were worth the food.

Like every other star hotel this is expensive. That aside, its good in terms of food and hospitality.

Towards the end of our dinner we realised that Team Raddison Blu took us to an authentic oriental journey in the most efficient way. The pricing is surprisingly economical for something that belongs to the kitty of Radisson. Vegetarian food are in the price range of Rs. 200 – Rs 450 ++

This place is incredible! The staff is very kind and extremely accommodating. The chef took our special order carefully and created a dish just for us! I also heavily recommend the salmon teppanyaki. The sauce was a perfect amount of sweet without being overpowering. The uramaki (sushi rolls) were good for Hyderabad, but Ive tasted better out of the country. The tempura breading was a bit soggy and the avocado on the Dragon Roll was a tad bit browned. The Holy Basil Pad Thai was a big hit though. For dessert, the Banana tempura was so delicious we ordered it both times we came. The Basil Creme Brûlée is a very unique item. It has a lovely basil undertone to the exquisite creamy custard filling. Highly recommended interesting dish. The ambience is alright, but the lighting is a tiny bit odd. It does add a certain charm to the place. Although everything was good, the true element that made this place a standout was the perfect staff. Definitely a special thanks to the assistant manager Praveen for his great service both times we dined in and both times we got take out. The Chef was wonderful as well and came to the table at the end of our meal to ask how it was! It was incredible, of course. I would definitely return here for amazing Asian fusion and exceptional service.
