Royalty, luxury and grandeur. Totally in awe of this rare architecture. The palace tour is just amazing. The decors, chandeliers everything about this palace is beyond understanding. We went there for our wedding anniversary and we’re simply awestruck. Needless to say the food and the staff is top class.

Memorable!!The staff made sure that everything from the start to the end is lovely.The chariot ride, the Heritage walk, the qawwali, peacock feeding ..... everything was amazing. The rooms were elegant.The chef Sajesh Nair was so keen to make our taste buds happy.Spread of the buffet was not on par with other five star hotels.Housekeeping Mounica, restaurant Sudhakar and other staff were very attentive in their duties to make the guests happy.U can walk through the palace and the garden...its so peaceful... especially the bird calls.City view from palace heights was very beautiful.Approach road from the city to the hotel was tiresome.Costly but once in a while you can pamper yourself!!

We visited for an afternoon High Tea and spent the most memorable evening at the Taj. The staff was courteous and extended very warm hospitality. The view was simply incomparable and we stayed till twilight to enjoy sunset from the garden.The high tea had an eclectic yet extensive spread. Make sure you take your time to enjoy it.

One Of the best places Ive ever been to. Everything was incredible , starting with the chariot entry , then various rooms in the palace with aesthetic paintings and antiques. The royal ambience was truly astonishing . One of the best staffs you could ever get along with the delectable food served over here , truly royal . Dont forget about the Exquisite view from the top of the palace, and it gets better at night with the white lights everywhere , out of the world . I would definitely suggest everyone to visit this palace , if they get a chance

The experience of staying at Taj Falaknuma was truly a surreal one, right from our entrance in a horse drawn chariot to the day we had to bid adieu to this sprawling, magnificent palace and its vast green grounds. Learning about the history of this palace at the guided tour gave us a new found appreciation for Hyderabad’s vivid past as well as it’s rich and marvellous heritage and left us wondering at the grandeur of the lives of those who inhabited this palace many decades ago.The high tea had a lovely selection of accompaniments for us to try along with our preferred choice of beverage; a special mention must be made for the scrumptious scones and variety of delicious sandwiches, honestly the high tea at Taj Falaknuma is an experience one should not miss. Our dinner at Adaa had us try out some amazing and flavourful Mughlai dishes, especially the saffron infused Malai Kofta and the mouth watering Dal Makhani.I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude towards the staff at Taj Falaknuma for their hospitality and courteousness which made this incredible experience, a truly memorable one.

Beautiful place with the most beautiful view. I went there for dinner on my birthday. Kudos to the staff for arranging everything so well. The hospitality was on point. We were served by Shreyas, he was very polite and made all the major arrangements for the surprise birthday. Food tasted delicious and the qawwali night was a big add on.

Royalty at its peak A fine blend of English and Nizami style architecture. Older than 13 Decades, This Palace spread in 45 Acres of Land,, boasts of lust green landscapes & grand sculptures, sections and mesmerizing interiors which are well thought, scientifically placed & constructed. The Jade Room, The dining room, The portraits, the staircase Gallery and fabulous ceiling and floor work is a view to behold. One can stay here to experience the Glory of it, or for a shorter experience, one can opt for High Tea+Guided tour which costs Rs. 3,500.00 + T per person. One should make an advance booking.The only thing where one has to be fortunate is to have knowledgeable & enthusiastic tour guide. Unfortunately the tour guide we had didnt seem to be enthusiastic enough to provide detailed information about a lot of things, Thankfully our host and friend was with us, just because she had visited the palace earlier on couple of occasions, she could tell us a lot more what she had learned from her previous tours, which was more than what our guide told us.

We visited the palace to celebrate our 10th marriage anniversary and it didnt disappoint. We went for the full course meal at Celeste. The sheer grandeur of this place, the royalty , the authentic cuisine made our day extra special and made us feel like royalty. The personal service from the chef added a touch of elegance to the whole experience. This was followed by a guided tour of the palace. We were free to roam around the gardens and spend some quite moments enjoying the magnificent view of the palace in the backdrop of the city. Its been a while now and will surely visit again to relieve the experience.

If u r staying there u will be treated like Royal couples and if u just visiting it then have a trip around the palace and click pics of peacocks and return. The guide who took us around was young but dumb and was not able to pull the crowd as he should be doing. He was also not able to replies to queries if anything was asked. The guide intension was to finish the trip ( which as an Indian not not very impressive as I have seen better in Rajasthan) without much time to waste on questions.

Special mention to Pabitra and his team! He was there to help me with everything from dining recommendations to help with Literally anything else that I needed. We visited the Falaknuma for lunch and we chose the set menu as it seemed to give a taste of all the things we wanted to try.Right from the entry, you are transported to a different era. Aadab is the greeting you will receive from all the staff and it means Greetings you can respond with Tasleem. The Falaknuma palace tour we had after the lunch was worthwhile, it is led by Faiz saab who is the erstwhile head of security for the Nizam and is now employed by Taj to give the tour. If you understand Hindi or Urdu I would urge you to take this tour as some of the sayings mentioned during the tour are lost in translation.Finally we come to the food, the set menu consisted of a soup/shorba, a mix of veg and non veg appetizers (3 to 5), a palate cleanser sorbet, a mix of veg and non veg curries, Naan breads in different styles, Hyderabadi Biryani with salan & raita and finally four different kinds of desserts. Each course is served with intervals of time so that you get to enjoy the flavors of food and have a conversation with your table mates.A definite visit if you are in Hyderabad!

Once you are done with Breakfast let Nasir and his team guide you thru the day to help you get the maximum out of your stay. Sudhakar will be on his toes throughout the day to make your stay and food memorable. If you are celebrating something please let Priya know about it and she will manage everything with Shreyas for you without you even breaking sweat.I have just named a few people who made my trip memorable, but I can assure you the whole team will be there for you.

Very very bad hospitality behaviour from the staff. Even though it is a good place because of the harsh communication response from the staffs, i will not recommend anyone to this place.. Management should take a look on this.

We had the most memorable experience of having stayed in the palace to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. The staff were highly courteous and the room was very clean, neat and well maintained befitting to the status of Taj group.The food was superb and the staff were so courteous and friendly and whatever food was ordered it was readily served. While the palace itself has no dearth of things to appreciate, there are two things that you absolutely cannot miss:1. Qawwali performance: The Mogra Courtyard hosts a Qawwali performance every evening which typically starts around the time the guided palace tour ends (~6:15pm). If you’re a fan of Sufi music, this performance will take you to seventh heaven. Even if you’re not a fan, they take song requests towards the end and even perform recent songs with a Qawwali touch. These artists are maestros!2. The Guided Palace Tour: The guide is the original caretaker of the palace from before the time Taj took over the place. As someone who has lived and breathed the history of the palace, he has some beautiful (true) stories to share. If you’re interested in more than just the beauty of the palace walls and want to know the memories they possess, this guided tour is perfect for you.There are other hidden gems strewn across the palace complex but those will probably take several days to explore fully. For instance, one of the world’s first commercial refrigerators (~100 years old) stands en route to the gym/pool area. It looks like an unassuming wooden cupboard from the outside. One would never guess that it’s actually a refrigerator on the inside. The best part is you’re free to open it and look at the insides. You can really feel the grandeur and royalty while you are inside the falaknuma palace. Excellent and well maintained interiors with the lighting adding to the regal feeling. The staff and the services are also excellent. The view from the palace is also awesome as you can see the entire old Hyderabad due to its location over a hilltop. Overall a great place for stay as well for hosting an event if you are ready to shell out big bucks.

Absolutely stunning. The property is very well maintained. The rooms are delightful. The staff has been the most polite ever seen.Special mention to Ajinkya, Qayyum from the front desk and Sudhakar and Nasir in the restaurant.

We had the worst experience of our life here. I would strongly suggest against visiting this place. The property is beautiful but thats about it. The service is horrible, after informing the restaurant about your food preferences in advance they would be clueless when you arrive for your meal. I was made to wait 25 mins even after I had a reservation in place. The food arrived after another 25 mins. The horror doesn’t end here. While you would have paid part payment in advance while making your reservation they will charge your credit card for the full payment and then claim they didn’t receive the advance (while at the booking they say the booking will confirm upon part payment). The staff is all words and no actions. I have been charged 50% more than the amount I was supposed to pay and Still await the refund of 50% additional amount. No follow ups from the restaurant. Go there only to see the property. Would suggest strongly against dinning in or staying at the hotel.

Nice place for a special outing or party, though obviously its way more expensive compared to other options in the city. If youre staying there or going for a meal theres generally a free palace tour you can avail, though it has fixed timings. The view from the palace balconies is quite amazing, especially at night. Entry is by prior appointment only

The 2 day experience at Taj Falaknuma was great. Me and my wife went for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The service excellent right from entering the palace till we left the place. Gautham at reception desk was very friendly. The staff at the restaurants were very courteous and we came know them by name by the end of our 2days stay. nazir, Pabitra, Sudhakar, Vishal and other staff members were very welcoming and provided services as per our requirements.Along with the wonderful rooms, gardens and palace tour special mention to the food menu. The quality and taste was extremely good with a variety of cuisines for each meal.Overall it is a wonderful experience and I would recommend my friends and family to have that experience

Words cannot describe this property or the level of hospitality at this hotel. Firstly the name hotel does little justice to it. Stunning, spectacular, eye popping are probably adequate adjectives. The palace has been beautifully restored and is a absolute joy to behold with its stunning architecture and interiors. Paired with the level of hospitality that only the Taj can deliver it makes for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended at all levels

Spent 4 days at Taj Faluknama palace to celebrate our second anniversary! It was a remarkable experience. The sublime beauty of the palace, cordial and relaxing atmosphere, warm-hearted hosts and of course the delectable meals added up to a wonderful encounter.

Brilliant stay at a much loved place! Celebrated my birthday with a few days of getting pampered and indulged at this gem of a palace-turned-exquisie hotel. The architecture and art are incredible but then I had visited the palace as a teenager so it was wonderful to revive those memories.Only the Taj and the descendants of the Nizams could have collaborated and lovingly restored the Falakhnuma. Thank you for all the cakes, flowers, the special arrangements…. You made the Falakhnuma mine for those few days!I want to thank all staff, the librarian, the chefs, housekeeping, security, the gardeners, our drivers… have I left out anyone? If so, my apologies. And thank you for caring so much that you even sent me an old pair of tweezers I’d left behind, not realizing it until your couriered parcel arrived!
