Novotel..a brand that needs no introduction..And La Cantina shows every bit of Novotels hospitality and courteousness..Its a very good dining place situated inside the Novotel just beside the pool..A great place to have dinner/lunch.Food is very good, staffs are very courteous and gentle, service is quiet impressing.A very recommended place to have some quality romantic time with your better half..

I went here to celebrate my husbands birthday. This little corner of novotel has nice ambience, wherein u can either choose to sit inside beside the large glass windows or near to the pool on the outside. We ordered few mocktails that had very nice fresh flavours and some Chinese noodles. The food was okkeish. What really adds to the place is the overall ambience of the hotel. Since we went very close to Christmas, the place was very well lit with led lights and it all seemed very romantic. The staff is courteous and you can spend longer time near the garden and pool. PS: it can be one very nice late night spot 😊😊

We had a wonderful and romantic meal here last night! We each ordered soup and then shared the plate of nachos with Chile con queso. Just as we were enjoying the first samples of our soup, the chef came out to check on us. Everything was superb! And Rama as our server did an excellent job. Highly recommend this spot!

I came here with my family thinking this would be a nice dinner. First off, the price is way too high, we only had 4 meals and it was around ₹5,000. My mother had asked for sauce for her noodles, and it had arrived after 25 min. I had ordered Jamaican chicken breast and I have been to Jamaica so I know how it tastes, when I tasted this, it tasted like they took the chicken, grilled it, then put some seasoning. I really don’t understand why this is a four star restaurant and I will definitely NEVER be coming back.

The ambience is one thing which will leave a lasting impression on your mind. The staff is courteous and the food is good. However the place can be a little heavy on your pocket.

Had booked a table for my wedding anniversary. It was a terrible experience. They did not even have to table ready. They did not mention there was a wedding party at the venue at the same time. They gave us a seat where the wedding guests kept walking across.And also the food was pathetic. I am assuming the best of the chefs were engaged in the wedding service.The serving staff were also very few and unresponsive.They could have simply refused the booking instead of ruining a good evening

Outside seating is nice. Summer time it gets warmer outside. Service could be better.

La Cantina is one of the hidden gems of Novotel, nestled beautifully by the pool.They offer Mexican, Chinese and Asian. A great place for a romantic meal with loved ones. The food was tasteful and superlative supported by amazing band.What we loved the most was the priceless Hospitality offered by Deepak and the team, making the evening a memorable one. La Cantina should on every one checklist visiting Hyderabad.

Thought it wad a Mexican restaurant but they have changed it to pan Asian. Food was not that good, ambience was good. We got seat beside pool side.

More an indian version of Mexican food, but would return because of excellent service, got a replacement for the too spicy rice by Krishna, the waitor. He is the best! Nice ambient also. Would recommend.

I like this taste v good

The restaurant is struggling to make sense in a 5 star hotel. The staff doesnt smile and not trained. Very small hardly 5-6 family can eat inside, not good ambience.Finally food was ok , till the chef served thai green curry with a ton of salt, I sent it back. Then he added coconut milk in the same curry, I sent it back. He then added lot of sugar and the green curry became a desert. At no point he tried to remake it fresh. You can understand the mindset of people running this restaurant.I request novotel to retire this facility.

A relaxed place with lipsmacking food and indoor sports and a mosquitoes to pester - what else do we need for a quite dinner.I have been here on multiple occasions mostly with family to spend some quality time and relax and I was never left disappointed. Be it the pool side outdoor seating or the indoor seating with traditional Mexican ambience, the experience is one and the same.The food of course lives up to the standards of Novotel and the quesadilla and the nachos are a must try.The best thing of this place if however the hospitality of the staff. They are warm, receptive and always with a smile.Overall, this would definitely be a place where I can take my family for a quite dinner as well as a place for a quite romantic dinner.

La Cantina is probably the only restaurant in the city offering or daring to offer traditional mexican cuisine. I may not be able to put a finger on how close it is to being authentic, i would rather not go that way of rating it on authenticity.Ive been to la cantina twice, once for a tasting and other for a popup ive hosted. La Cantina is located on the other side of the pool at Novotel, not very upfront in appearance but makes up completely by the food it serves.During the tasting i sampled the chicken adobado, aztec calamari, garlic prawn and some other dishes that i fail to recollect. I liked to rustic taste of the chicken adabado.For the popup we had the following menuCervesa - beer with tequila / Margaritanacho + guacamoleflorandigasjalapeno and cheddar bruschettachipotle lime tequilachicken adabado/mole chickenchili rellenos/vegetable budindessert samplermini apple enchiladacinnamon and almost churros mud whazelnut tres lecheshouse made mango ice cream in tuilepistachio sopaipillaWhile i was hosting it, a lot of ppl seemed to dig the food served. at the end of the meal, each and everyone was blown away by the dessert sampler and the chipotle lime tequila.I chose the simpler and hearty - mole chicken with basil sour cream fettucine pasta. The dish is as it is stellar ( burnt chilli, tomato, chocolate , chicken stock ) , that along with the satisfaction of having pulled off a decent event made the mole chicken a heartening meal , i could have probably eaten a little more, but hell the staff waiting for me to eat, ensuring i ate, the chefs checking after the event if i ate - i mean that was something really heartening.WE dared the guests with pure habanero sauce, and most of them where hoppping and sweating in their seats, some blowing out steam from their mouths. That baby has some kick.There were no issues on the service front and everyone was pretty happy getting chatty, the food was being pushed out on time. The only issue was probably the guests not paying enough attention to the demos, so we cut it short.THe margarita demo could probably do with a little more flash.Other than that, the team ensure all the is were dotted and all the ts were crossed.thanks La Cantina for wonderful evening, looking forward to more.
